    I keep watching all these videos about compressed earth blocks the machines are pretty expensive. But I have a wood splitter I was wondering if you might make a video where you turn the wood splitter into a compressed blockmaker to make these blocks of 10% cement or 20% whatever your fancy but it’s pretty great you can use the dirt around the job site most likely unless it has levels too high too low of sand.. I think a lot of people would watch the video

  • @sathyamurthyponniah124
    @sathyamurthyponniah124 Před rokem +6

    @Dave M - In countries where the technology is not much advanced and the people are poor they use wooden moulds to make the bricks to build their houses. They use cement and sand in the ratio of 1:4 for making solid bricks without holes in the centre. In Srilanka
    we made roughly 64 bricks by
    using a 50kg bag of cement in the 1990 when the cost of a cement bag was approximately
    one US$ . The size of the bricks
    were 12 x 6 x 5 inches. Though we could have bought ready made bricks, we didn’t like the quality of strength and finish !
    Nowadays the price of a bag of
    cement weighing 50kg is about
    80 US$ and the sand is very high.

      without aggregates added to the mix, all this will be is "mortar bricks" and that is way weaker than concrete bricks. I wish these "creators" would use actual concrete.

Best advice if anyone still wants to do this bs is to get quality materials and not expired cement.
