Do you enjoy gradient puzzles like this or do you prefer more traditional images? Hope everyone is staying home and staying safe and getting lots of puzzles done ❤️
Also, if you haven't heard yet, I'm starting to post on Facebook again! Look for my page Karen Puzzles!
More traditional puzzles does other puzzles are not my kind
This was my first graident puzzle and i was so happy to see that you got and made a review
I prefer traditional puzzles , because I not too good in solving it
I spend like the hole day to finish that 500 pieces.
BIG THANKS TO THE DOCTORS
Same here. I've been working on the puzzles publish by Heye with Andy Kehoe's drawings. Really recommend those. So beautiful!
Karen, hello new subscriber here. I love your content and your personality you are so wholesome. Anyway, have you seen this puzzle before? czcams.com/video/vMQYhSwQZWA/video.html
I love this puzzle! I've done it so many times - some of the pieces have started to peel, but for the $9 price tag, SOOOOO worth it!
I just bought this puzzle and I’m so excited to try it!!
Update: captains log day 3, everything is orange and I am in Pain. This puzzle will never end, but live in my mind and haunt me.
Update2: the orange was defeated but it took like a freaking week and I couldn’t focus on anything else but I did it and it’s done
I would just like KarenPuzzles to be proud of me
Update ????
@Issa
they got lost in the sea of crimson
This puzzle is giving me a certified beatdown right now 😩 I've never had to take this many breaks while doing a puzzle! If it wasn't so beautiful and I didn't absolutely know that final snap will be so satisfying I might have thrown in the towel.
@@charleseleeiiiyou can do ittttt!!! I believe in you so much!!!
@@Kyra577 thank you for the vote of confidence! I'll be back with a victory post soon hopefully 🤣
The glue on the box might be their way of going without the bag or shrinkwrap, which is likely more environmentally friendly and minimizing waste in general. Those plastics are in most cases not the most reusable aspect of the packaging.

heh yep
Still laughing....😂😭

don't know how i ended up watching puzzle videos, but this content is interesting and I now want to solve puzzles :D

Same last week I found one and now I can’t stop watching them lol
Well, I’m a med lab technologist in a hospital who was asked to work nights during a vacation week (booked a long time ago). I had a few days off, then I got a call from my supervisor telling me I had to come back. Three people are isolating right now, plus the tech 2. I will get my vacation days back, plus I am making double pay for each of these night shifts. I do consider myself lucky to be essential, and unionized, and not laid off like as happened to so many people. I had plans to do a puzzle this week, but oh well. The coworker I am covering posted a picture of herself on Instagram stories doing a puzzle and journaling, things I wanted to do this week...
Thank you for everything you do ❤️
I have about 20 puzzles from this brand, and I think the quality is terrific for the price. Very rarely do I find pieces with torn cardboard. One thing I love is their selection of 2000 piece puzzles, especially the colorful ones with images by Aimee Stuart. I don't see many brands offering 2000 piece puzzles. It's such a great size for people who are looking for a bigger puzzle challenge but don't have space or money for 5000 and up. Buffalo Games has a huge variety of their puzzles on Amazon, and many of the 2000 piece puzzles are less than $20. [Um, That was before COVID19. I just checked Amazon to confirm my statement, and the puzzles are GONE or hugely overpriced. Check back later when things hopefully get back to normal.]
Yes, I'm still binging your ENTIRE channel. I'm watching all the way to the end and trying to use the passcodes when they're given. I have been so stressed with returning to work and with my daughter's first year of school being remote... I just have to say that you are a totally brilliant and bright ray of absolute rainbow sunshine in these dismal times for me. A huge shout out to any veterinary workers out there who have been caring for everyone's pets this whole thing and are usually forgotten amongst other essential medical professionals.
Thank all the workers who have to be in the front line for us. Never done gradient puzzles but after your videos you wake up my curiosity. Thanks love your work!
I’ve been ‘addicted’ to jigsaw puzzles for almost 60 years. This puzzle I bought a month or so ago, and like you echoed, the bright colors is a mood enhancer for sure! :-)))
I came upon your channel a few weeks ago, and am thoroughly enjoying your videos. Thanks so much for your puzzle reviews.
I just did this puzzle and loved it
.....but that middle orange-red-pink area was challenging.
After watching you do gradient puzzles I really want to try one:)
We've been fully quarantined here. I've been doing my grocery shopping through the walmart grocery app to avoid going in store. I decided to add a 1,000 piece puzzle to my order. It was handpicked by a walmart employee. He or she really picked a challenging one for us...lol.
A big THANK YOU to all the essential workers including my sister-in-law who works as a grocery store clerk. We really appreciate the job you guys are doing:)
Thank you Karen for brightening our day with your cheerful personality. I quite agree that we should all give a huge THANK YOU to all the essential workers who are keeping us safe: nurses, doctors, police officers, grocery store workers and everyone else who is working during this crisis.
I love Buffalo puzzles! They’re the only puzzles I’ve ever done and they’re the best!
Me too! Tradditional puzzle images is what I prefer
The only Karen that doesn't want to speak to the manager.

Thanks for this video and your kind words to all of the essential workers out there doing their part in making it possible for the rest of us to stay home and stay safe (and puzzle, if I may make a verb of that word).
Keep up the great job in producing these videos for us, Karen.
I just finished this puzzle a couple weeks ago. I've only been doing jigsaws for less than a year, so I found it quite challenging. I was glad to hear that you didn't just breeze right through it in an hour, made me feel a bit better about my skills. :) I worked on it sporadically, 30 minutes or an hour at a time and it took me about 2 months to finish.
Lovely message there at the end, I echo what you said- thank you to everyone who is helping keep us safe!
I’ve been binging your channel for a few weeks now and I love it. I’m inspired to try a gradient puzzle now and I’ve been eyeing up both some options from Buffalo and Cloudberries. A huge sincere thanks to all essentials workers!
This is one of my favorite puzzles! It's so colorful and I just find myself drawn to it. I have also experienced the lower quality cardboard breaks, but it doesn't stop me from loving it! Thanks for sharing!
Awesome puzzle sending one to my bestie. Also thank you for all the amazing people that are working to keep the rest of safe. Nurses, doctors, grocery workers, delivery people, EMTs , lab technicians, scientists, and the myriad of people that have to leave their homes. Thank you!!!!
I love this puzzle. Looking at it makes me very happy as the colours are so vibrant and beautiful. I loved it so much that I framed it and hung it up. The red and orynust about drove me mad as there was so much of it but so enjoyable to finally complete.
This was a super relaxing one to watch. I loved all the reversed shots at the beginning and the spiralling taking part at the end!
I have this puzzle on my puzzle shelf to do! Looking forward to it and I will try your method as it looks like a fabulous one! Love all your videos! You have made me want to try more gradient puzzles! Wish me luck! They are a challenge! And so many thanks to all those hardworking people who go to work everyday to help our community function as best we can and to those brave individuals who put their own lives at risk to help and save others all the time but especially now as they are called to step up even further to help out!
I love gradient puzzles so I was excited about this one but it was so hard for me. I did the same with the corners but my red/orange vision must be awful because I fought hard to finish it! I went grocery shopping today and made sure to thank the man working. Thanks to all other essential employees too!
Hi Karen its Christina, I like the puzzle so colorful. I feel I am colorful person. I am very thankful for the people that are working at the grocery store and stockings shelves for us.
Great look at this puzzle and I love the price. I will buy this one soon. Love Gradient puzzles. Thank you all that keep us safe and well. You are appreciated
Yes - thanks to all the people out there on the frontline everywhere in the world. This has been a shocking and frightening thing that’s happened and I hope everyone comes through it safely. Thanks Karen - very good video.
Karen: and, i cant really rememeber who send this puzzle...
Me: scrolling down to the comments and expecting everyone to say: "iT wAs mE"
I am a letter carrier so thank you. I'm also an obsessive puzzle maker. I bought this Buffalo games puzzle in the last year and enjoyed it. I did not find it too hard. I make puzzles everyday. When one is finished I grabbed the next one. I am new to your Channel and love what you do.
Long time listener first time caller. 😀 I enjoy your reviews. When I did this puzzle I didn't start with the edges; for something different I just jumped into doing green. But, same as you, when I got to orange I jumped over to blue. I enjoy this kind of puzzle and the Ravensburger Krypt puzzles. Thanks to all the essential workers out there!
Hey Karen, found you from the try guys video. This review convinced me to start buying puzzles. I learned about foam core boards and observing the the total puzzle measurements before I purchased. Thank you, for that. Since I started watching your channel I’ve invested in four colorful 300 count puzzles from Buffalo Games. This review was super helpful because I learned that I’d need to use a letter opener to get the box open. Which worked beautifully. However, today is the day I received the 1000 color challenge puzzle that is featured in this video. I guess they’ve been watching your channel too because the box came taped on the sides, not glued on the inside AND the puzzle pieces came in a bag! Hehehehe, good on you, Karen! Keep up the great work! I hope you review more Buffalo games puzzles! I know I’m happy starting my collection with this company.
10 months later; still a huge thank you to ALL frontline workers!! 🤟🧩
I've done three puzzles since we've been social distancing here in Ireland, two 500-piece puzzles and one 1000-piece puzzle. I've only just found your channel and I love it! Now I want to buy so many more puzzles but they're all out of stock (understandably) or delayed so I'm making do with the ones I have. I've never done a gradient puzzle before but your reviews make me want to do one some day.
Actually bought this puzzle. The quality was not very good on mine lots of peeling and bent pieces. It drove me bananas. Put it back in the box and donated it. I love your videos and find you charming. Currently working on a Ravensburger spiraling stained glass puzzle. I enjoy the White Mountain collage puzzles as well. Easy, colorful and fun. I always make it a point to thank people at the store for their service as well as the other essential workers I happen upon. Been doing an insane amount of sudoku as well.
I definitely just went on Amazon and bought this puzzle. Thanks for inspiring me to get back into puzzles. I did them a lot with my sister and dad when I was a kid. It's even better as an adult!
I like a good puzzle myself, so would definitely have a go at one of these! Thank you, Karen, for an entertaining video! You always look so happy! And to prove I watched the whole video - a VERY BIG THANKS to all the essential workers that we all depend on during these difficult times!! (clap clap clap.....)
We did an applause for our NHS last night at 8pm. They are awesome, we appreciate them so much. I like this puzzle alot. At the moment I'm doing a Ridley alphabet jigsaw, which is lovely but comes in a tube which is a pain to store. I've never done a gradient jigsaw. This one looks really nice though.
Also have you seen/done any of the Wasgij puzzles. They are fun and a bit of a challenge.
Great video as usual ! Yes, a very heartfelt thank you to all the workers who are keeping everything going for all of us, and my deepest respect to all healthcare workers everywhere in the world.
Blessings in Love, Light, Health, Courage, and Peace to everyone from NYC
☮️💚💪🏼🙏💕👍💯%
Yess, thank you! I've been looking at this one for quite a while and wasn't sure whether I should buy it or not!
Karen, thanks to you, I’ve put this puzzle in my Amazon cart. I love challenging and fun puzzles. I was in the process of moving last year, so wasn’t able to do fun hobby stuff. I grew up loving jigsaw puzzles. This puzzle will my first I work on this year!!😁😁😁
OMG I know this video is old, but seeing that advert for the peel and stick puzzle savers reminded me I needed to buy a lot more of that. My mom bought some for a few puzzles that I'm doing for her since she's having trouble seeing them clearly with the foil art on them. They are amazing and save so much time, and very little mess. It adds a good amount of stability and rigidness to puzzles.
Thank you all the dedicated workers, in all the fields, to work so hard during these challenging times. God bless each and everyone 🥰
A wonderful, happy video.
To all you incredible delivery people, truck drivers, supermarket and pharmacy employees, postal workers, health professionals and police officers and firefighters and anyone else keeping us healthy, amused and well fed, thank you, thank you.
Just found your channel and I love it!!! I have always loved working puzzles!!!
Thank you Karen, and thank you all the essential workers around the world!
Its crazy how so many videos which otherwise would have been timeless are now set in a specific event in history. Ive been bingeing these videos and this is the only one i've watched and thought "oh this was made when covid-19 was a thing" even though i was watching the most recent of these videos yesterday.
I generally enjoy Buffalo Games puzzles, so I was happy that you did a positive review on one of their puzzles. :)
For the price, it was great!
Hey Karen! I LOVE that puzzle. Have never done a gradient but I had been watching that one. I hadn’t done a puzzle in years. In June I ordered one and have been doing them ever since. Now I’m a junkie 🤣. I started with Disney but recently branched out 🤣. I don’t have patience if they’re too hard and they need to be colorful! I love that now people are in they have picked up the hobby, but I’ve had a long list going and can’t find them anywhere now 😭. But I got a new Ravensburger this morning, Midnight at the Library? And a few more in the mail 🤣. I finished Going to the Movies by Springbok this morning. Stay safe and a HUGE thank you to all the people in the health care profession! ❤️
I have this puzzle along with several other Buffalo Games puzzles and I love them all. They have great artwork, are good quality and are at a price that I feel is affordable. I would love to have what is considered higher quality puzzles but if I can have two or three Buffalo Games versus one Ravensburger, I'll take BG. Once in a while if there is a more expensive puzzle that I really want, I'll try to save up for it. But otherwise, BG suits me just fine. Thanks for giving an honest and positive review to them. I love your channel!
I have been watching you for a while now. You have motivated me to buy my first puzzle. I will keep you posted how it goes.
Hi Karen, and a huge Thank-You to all the essential workers and care givers during this extremely difficult time. Great video too, just what we need to brighten our days at the moment. Keep well & be safe. Love Judi x
PS I think I'll stick to traditional puzzles for the time being (as long as they don't have birds on them! I have a real phobia!!!)
Use this me as the “please post another video because we miss your lovey content😅” button
I just finished this puzzle and I had the exact same experience as you. The orange and red parts were killing! Despite that, very fun and I am hooked on color gradient puzzles now.
i haven't done a gradient puzzle. although i like seeing the completed gradient puzzle when others do them, i find the image puzzles more interesting than putting solid color pieces together.
a big thank you to all the people working in the front lines, especially those working in hospitals, delivering groceries, or working in warehouses to prepare packages for delivery!
I like this puzzle more than most of the more expensive gradients because it has texture.
I agree, it's nice to see a lot of people are rediscovering the joy of puzzles during this time.
Thank you to all the essential workers! I started this puzzle several months ago, but I’ve misplaced the remainder of the pieces in a move. I hope I find them soon since the days are getting shorter and I definitely need natural light to discern all of the orange.
i absolutely love the design. it makes the idea of a gradient puzzle more appealing. for me having a pretty image helps with motivation on doing the puzzle.
same goes for the crypt single colour puzzles. the cut is interesting to look at so I'm more likely to be interested
I love the look of Puzzle! I really want to try out some of these puzzles some day!
Thank you to the essential workers! You have made this time bearable for the rest of us x
Hello Karen, i just bought this puzzle because of your video. I think Buffalo follows you because now it comes in a bag and sealed with stickers. I like your videos, keep it up. Saludos from México.
I am one of these essential workers and one who also got back to puzzling to reduce stress when I am home
Thanks a lot for bringing me back to puzzling
I actually got this puzzle for like $6 on amazon!! It was a few months ago but still! I love buffalo puzzles so it was a nice surprise!!
Thanks Karen - I consider what you’re doing essential 😂😍
I’m so glad I came across your video! I was planning to get a 300 piece puzzle by Buffalo Games called “drops of color” as my first puzzle to start off with and also because it was cheaper than other colour puzzles.
Also I’m grateful to essential workers for helping us throughout the day. Our society cannot function without them. Thank you to everyone who contributes to society and thank you Karen Puzzles are creating such interesting videos as a way for me to unwind 👍😊
Im so happy you did this puzzle
A Big Beautiful thank you to all the Doctors, Nurses, Grocers, Postal service, Amazon Workers..Everyone who are the real life superhero’s during these trying times..Karen this was a beautiful video..💕💕
It's in my bucket list
I’ve done the same puzzle but 300 pieces. I loved it
I’ve gone back to puzzles during this time. I’m no pro and hadn’t done a puzzle in MANY years. The largest I’ve completed is 500 pieces. I tried to start a 750 piece, but due to limited space....I gave up. 🤷🏻♀️ Anyway, I discovered your channel about a week ago. I love your videos, very informative and not too serious. 😃 I’ve done one of the Buffalo puzzles (I think) the sides of the box were glued & no bag. Haven’t done a gradient puzzle.....yet. But I am hooked mother app you recommended...InLove Hue. 💜👍🏼
As for being thankful, grateful and praying for those essential folks out there. My niece is an RN In a PICU in NYC. She is definitely on the middle of it!! My husband is essential because he works at a paper plant that produces the oh so precious toilet paper m paper towels, kleenex, wet wipes etc. And two of our four sons are also essential. So yes, I’m VERY thankful for everyone who is required to be out there everyday.
Great video, Karen! I am currently working on a Star Wars 1000 piece from Buffalo Games and it seems to me that it could be the same cut as this one. Thanks for always putting out such positive content!
Oh that's cool me too!
I love buffalo games puzzles. I thought they'd be poor quality since they are $10 at walmart, but I've always been impressed with the click and the colors and fit
Me finding your channel and going to straight to my parents asking for a 3k puzzle to do all togheter:
That aside, we're still working on it, especially me and mom, but i really appreciate finding your channel cause i'm having such quality time puzzling with her and i really thank you for making me rediscover puzzles :3
I've never done a gradient puzzle and I'm really unsure if I'd like it or not. I love the look of them, but I tend to do puzzles where there's lots of detail. Stay safe everyone, and thanks to all who are working towards getting us through this time x
Trop beau puzzle commandé à l'instant! J'ai découvert vos vidéos hier soir vous m'avez donné envie de faire des puzzles 😂 ❤️
Puzzles are so fun i have been doing it through h corona brake i love your videos.
I just finished this puzzle today. Took me 23 months. I would do a piece here and there and just left it on the table. I framed it, and now it's going on my wall. It's a beautiful, feel good picture.
Thank you for all the workers who are keeping us safe!!!
I’ve been eyeing this puzzle for awhile, debating whether to get it or not. I’ve done the cloudberries, 1000 colors and a ravansberger gradient puzzles and I love them so much. Might have to give this one a try. Thank you for the kind words. I work as a pharmacy tech and it’s been kinda of a stressful time lately.
I like this alot cus there is the aesthetics of a gradient but also a picture to keep ur eye interested
Thank you to my daughters working through the pandemic, one a librarian, now back at the library with a mask and plexiglass, and one an accountant working from home!
Thank you so much to all the essential workers out there keeping things going in Canada and the US, and all over the world!
Before all the craziness started I had picked up a Buffalo Puzzles Sea Turtles puzzle for $1 at Goodwill. I wanted to give to my mom who loves sea turtles but I had to do the puzzle first to make sure it was all there and it was! She loved it and it was a great gift at a great time as she is the grocery supervisor at our local Walmart and has been working practically everyday!
Me: binge watches people doing puzzles
Also me: has about 5 unfinished puzzles lying around as well as at least 10 more in the boxes unopened yet
I just did this puzzle a few days ago, and I thought it was funny how I did it the exact same way as you without watching this video! I started with the green and yellow, got stuck, moved to do the blue/purple/pink, and then moved into the red, ending right in the same area as you 😂
Omg I did that exact one my sophomore year and hung it up in my room for a week
Thank you workers.!
I've watched several of your videos and didn't realize you did one of this particular puzzle which I tried to put together last week and just couldn't finish it! The middle section where the orange and pink met the red really kicked up butt. I tried for two days and finally gave up. Will try again in the futurre. Anyways, Buffalo Games is my favorite puzzle company. Their puzzles are very affordable and I love their Charles Wysocki puzzles. And their Vivid collection too.
i have this puzzle at home ) cant wait to start on this one
Because of quarantine, me and my dad did a puzzle that we forgot we had and then we decided to buy even more puzzles. We found 2 puzzles from a company called Eurographics Puzzles, and the had this thing called "smart cut" where the pieces where soooo weird, there were almost no classic pieces. I would really like to see you making a puzzle that has smart cut technology!! ❤️❤️
This exact same image is available in the UK (Amazon) as Impuzzibles Wavy Rainbow.
The pieces were in a plastic bag, but they did also leave off the shrink wrap. There was no poster included.
The cut is completely different. It has more standard rounded knobs and no split pieces with the diagonal connector. Oddly there are no 4-ins or 4-outs. The edges of strips of pieces follow the wavy theme so that they get thinner and wider and you can't tell if the longest dimension of the piece goes horizontally or vertically. In one direction they have deviously introduced a step in the edges every few pieces to fool you into looking for the wrong piece shape. Nice touches I thought. And there is a step on every row on just the middle join in the other direction, after which the piece shapes repeat.
However, the pieces do not lock together at all, even to pick up 2 pieces together. Many times pieces fitted perfectly in the wrong place. Time consuming searches through all the other pieces and on the big sorting board under my feet only to find that nothing would fit because a piece was in the wrong place.
Enjoyed it and liked the vibrant colours. Took me 27.5 hours over 9 days.
The torn and peeling pieces you found in this puzzles is actually quite rare. I love this brand and have a over 100 of their puzzles and have never had an issue with peeling cardboard. Open up your 2000 piece Sweet Shop puzzle and check on the quality of those pieces.
This gradient puzzle was also issued in a 300 piece version. And your Sweet Shop puzzle was issued with 300, 1000 or 2000 pieces. I have the 1000 piece version.
Keep making your videos, I love watching them,❤️
Thanks to all who are keeping us safe during the stressful time. So grateful to you all!💕❤️💕❤️💕❤️
I totally agree with this post; Buffalo puzzles have great quality for the price.
Puzzles are actually SOLD OUT!!!! On Amazon and puzzle companies are overwhelmed with orders... Puzzle warehouse actually went from selling 1,000 puzzles a day to 10,000 puzzles a day🤯...I’m so happy I started building my collection 3 years ago when I discovered your Channel...thank You so much Karen🥰
Kiki Ray Ive just ordered quite a few from Amazon today
Kiki Ray
I don’t know what puzzles you purchased but 99 percent of all puzzles are still unavailable with the exception of some wooden puzzles for toddlers..I checked and several friends and family members checked
This was great the texture is really fun.. have ever done the TDC mystery puzzles. We have E is for Expresso. No reference picture and printed on both sides.
I’ve done this puzzle many times and I start with the edge then the jagged edge ones that I call them-the diagonal ones-then the pieces with the excessively large knobs and inner knob things
Have this puzzle. Bought it awhile back on Amazon for about 2$. I worked from the two corners like you did (taking much longer!) then totally stalled out on the red/orange section. Enjoyed it up til then. Yes, it’s very shiny and I had to stand up a lot. Hard on my back. It’s currently on foam core. Guess I better get it back out and finish. Probably have 100 pieces to go. AND A BIG THANKS TO ALL THE ESSENTIAL WORKERS!
It gets easier the closer you get to the end!
omg I bought this one. ran out of time to work on it (moving) but now I can see how its done!
Glad you are back on facebook!
I just finished this puzzle and it came up on my recommended after sending a picture to my mom 😂. It took me much longer than 5 hours I think but I did it in the exact order that you did!
I own this puzzle, I love doing it because of the vibrant colors, and its very different that all of my other puzzles.
