By any reasonable metric this announcement is impressive
@@quantumdot7393 How is it a fair comparison when M2 came out in June and Qualcomm Elite is coming out in mid 2024?
@@samuloflipsitup8314 Because we are comparing the architecture of this new SoC to apple. If you want to do that one of the SoC shouldn't have a TSMC node advantage over the other. Like i said apple is willing to pay more to get first dips on the new nodes. We are comparing technology not bank accounts. Bank accounts you pay for i might add because apple stuff is way more expensive that the market average.
@@quantumdot7393 M2 is based on N5P, not N4
@@samuloflipsitup8314 M2 actually came out in June 2022 and it's based on the A15 Bionic, released in September 2021. It's effectively a two year old iPhone chip, that's been scaled up for the Mac.

How do you know? just curious.
This Apple fanboy thing is real. How did it come to tech professionals who are usually unbiased… oh some r not professional
Bro you are general Apple fanboys
@@fruitcake4910what😂😂😂😂😂
How is app compatibility though i have spent the day looking into windows on arm and that seems to be the main complaint
Qualcomm, apple, intel, amd, nvidia sheesh we are on heat everyone
am i the only one who thinks they are demonstrating it on windows 12 if am not tripping because the file explorer looks different 6:38 and the laptop for demonstration at the end of the video.
i hope Microsoft polishes the windows and makes it to 'just work' and if not better a good enough translator for apps like Apple did so this wont be another thing to stress about. i know there are people paid to think and solve problems there so wont really worry for now.
nice to see competition and also proper powerful potable gaming devices.
Finally a possible breakthrough from M series power efficiency monopoly. Undoubtedly these competitions will benefit the end user.
Wow these new processor sounds like a very good improvment! Much better performance and efficiency. A nice competition to the other processor and we hope to get good deals with it.
This is some mesmerising time to experience awesome new technologies and some crazy tech competition. It is lovely to hear that news. 😎💯💪🏾👍🏾
They seamlessly integrated two OSes in that last demo? A bit jittery but still wow. Now what will x86 do?
On a specific app...
They haven't shown full OS integration.
The fact that the Windows laptop input devices (whose mouse and keyboard drivers are Windows-based) "know" when to hand over inputs and when to accept inputs shows a deeper level beyond just app level.
All devices are running on snapdragon chips, and there's an awareness happening between the three. Like they mentioned, it's at a hardware level. And that's pretty dope.
To be honest, I'm happy for the success of Qualcomm 🔥, I'm waiting for Xperia on 8 gen 3 next year.
My greatest happiness is the gains I get consistently from my venture despite the business cycle. The U.S NFP is a key factor and knowing how to use it is really rewarding.
With this gains sent to my account each week, Gwen Irene Hodges is honestly amazing.
I believe for sure he is one of the best in this field and I've heard a lot about his success stories on the internet.
I have heard a lot about ventures with Gwen Irene Hodges and how good he is and how he has helped people through ventures .
Please Who is this Gwen Irene and how does he trade , i’m interested in getting to know how it all works !!
He is my family's personal Broker and also a personal Broker to many families in the United states , he is a licensed broker and a FINRA AGENT in the United States . My family got in touch with him after he did a broadcast on ABC NEWS about his profitable investments and trading , he is so awesome that my family is now debt free.
This is really great! But why compared with M2 in multithreaded? This seems rather to target M2 Pro, not only in performance but I can see them targeting in price. 🤔
Aaaa, can't wait Surface Device powered new Snapdragon SOC
This Apple fanboy thing is real. How did it come to tech professionals who are usually unbiased… oh some r not professional. I too have Apple everything, Competition has always been a good thing…
what version of arm instruction sets used in this ?
I am an apple fan. I am so happy about qualcomm's upgrade
I think arm processor should more mainstream than x86
What could be the price of laptop?
Please tell me these gonna come with mobo's too? For custom pc builds?
the wifi 7 modul is compatibil with intel 10 gen CPU-s??
Get ready for some insanely powerful Droid tabs too. 🤩
tbh the current situation aint about the chip's performance.
Its about the apps.
though it rly isnt what qualcom can do much about.
Hope the app ecosystem develops soon, cuz the idea of arm chip laptop does temp me A LOT
The only question is , will Microsoft actually make windows stable enough on ARM???
its a short live if does really lead… M3 will be announced soon… Scary Fast event 30th Oct
This is GOOD… A step closer to native BootCamp on Apple M-Series!!!
question in will Manufacturers select SD over intel amd.
If x86 architecture doesn't get any better any time soon, they may become obsolete.
The completion is just too fierce.
Google should be watching this.
Man I'm excited for the future laptop with this new chip. Really hope the actual performance is as per the slides. Competition is good.
With this kind of performance, android need to step up their game by putting more advance and more high quality apps, and most importantly expand their Android OS support to more than just 5 years. It frustrating when some of the phone already has the same price with the iPhone but cannot compete with iOS app and iOS longevity support. We need to put more serious development for android platform.
But still, in the end they still release angry bird and that's it
hardware development outpaced software development anyway,
Competition is always great 👍
0:39 My man on MacBook Pro
ooh m2 max... isnt M3 coming next week :)
Love it how Qualcomm is trying to go head to head with both Apple & Intel.
This should push the industry forward.
Great and exciting milestone!
Always straight to the point I guess that's why I am here hehe...
"Take a photo" 😅😂
When we'll get these laptops?
The crowd did NOT trust Qualcolm claims based on their reactions😂
What mobile phone apps would u use those power?????
what does shot on snapdragon mean? are they also hinting a first party smartphone or a camera?
How about price to Performance also what about open source ability to run new platforms and Technology with this chip set
Can it run crysis?
Do the m3 series of chips outperform this cpu?
thats a big step forward when the information are stable true... now comes the price tag question....
we will see soon, hopfully the claims are true....
Personally am not concerned about how powerful it is over the M1 processors. My concern would be how will the Operating systems harness this power. One thing we can all agree is that the MacOs is fully optimized to harness the power on mac chips... which is not closely available on other operating systems we have
