In my head this was really funny
I will say I don't have diagnosed autism but everyone in my family always says I'm autistic ( runs in my mom's side of the family ) and I'm actually getting tested later this year lol
My friend ( known her since I was 2 ) always say this when I do something weird or I try to make a excuse for one of my actions and I always find it funny cause shell always say "Pidge you are the most autistic , colorblind and dyslexic friend I have stfu." Never fails to either offend and make me laugh at the same time so we've made a bet on if I'm autistic for when I get my test results back lol

Something extremely similar happened to me. I have diagnosed autism (though I’m hardly affected by it) so my friend always does something very similar to this.

i don’t have autism but whenever i don’t like the texture of something (rarely) my friend calls me autistic 😭 (it doesn’t bother me i think it’s funny but she probably shouldn’t go around saying that to people💀 (she doesn’t))
