The entrance cover closes when the toilet starts to operate, but it does not lock. If the cat touches the cover during operation, the machine gets stuck. Another is that if the cat collects the sand in a certain place by scratching, the machine still cannot sift the sand and gives an error. The product is not good.
I had a self-cleaning litter box once, and the smell of weeks' worth of shit is... indescribable. It feels like Satan is penetrating my nose and stabbing my brain with a fork. I would much rather clean the litter box once to twice a day with all my senses still intact, but that's just me 😂
@@sakurafalls2468what kind did you have. Seems like some of these higher end ones and the newer ones seal the compartment better. Number one thing said is no smell on these. The one in this video doesn’t look like it’s one of the ones that seals the waste area off good tho
Swlf cleaning litter boxes are many. What separate the good ones from the mediocre ones are three details: 1. How safe it is? Does it properly detect when a cat is inside so that the mechanical parts dont move? 2. How effective it is at collecting edge cases, meaning big clumps and very small ones without getting stuck. 3. Is it safe for kittens? Many self cleaning litter boxes have weight sensors to pause, but they dont detect kittens. Also, does it pause if a cat gets inside while it is trying to send the litter to the back so that the cat doesn't get stuck?
If your cat pees high and doesnt squat, pee will get under the tray in it. Very sad cause i wanted it to work. Its impossible to disassemble and clean, like take screws out and take it apart.
But it’s kinda also your own fault if you buy this unnecessary and expensive crap. I mean: an electrical opening door and colored blinking lights inside? Cmon… just clean your damn litter box or buy a simpler, actually working one
As someone who owns this litterbox AVOID IT at all costs. Mine broke after a few short months of use by one cat. The customer service dept does not respond to emails, they don't honor the warranty and the product is garbage. After 6 months it's completly dead.
@@oscar5584 , yes Oscar, we set the device and only we empty the bag with the cat’s feces once at week. The complicated thing was that requires a 2.5 ghz Internet for the app and NOT 5G, but the company gave us a dual router, the Nintendo Wii and this device requires the 2ghz internet, so after we set the Internet the device had been working with not problem. Important unpack and ensamble the device as the video manual shows, if not the device won’t start (I didn’t read the manual and didn’t watch the video and took me the afternoon to restart the device) after you ensamble and put the cat’s litter you can restart the device and works with the app. We are happy with the purchase, the cat was very excited to go into the device meanwhile I was trying to ensamble and make it work.
Just received mine 4 hours ago and it’s already broke the rake is stuck cuz it started without the door being closed so now it’s jammed and it’s red light - wtf! Pls help

I got this machine for my cat, but it's got a big problem. If any pee gets on the side, it leaks, making a mess on the floor. Cleaning it is a constant headache. Plus, their customer service is terrible. They take forever to respond to emails. And to top it off, they charge a crazy $140 to return the item. It's just been a frustrating and regrettable purchase overall.
@@susn7412 It's a design fault; the bottom part comes out, causing cracks all around the machine. When my cat pees on the side wall, the urine goes through the cracks and leaks under the machine.

The problem with this couldn’t find proper waste plastic and couldn’t find the right litter sand that wont stick!
Currently wouldn’t recommend this, door stuck open and rake is jamming into it, contacted customer service and got 1 response in 24hrs…
