Lucinda Fredericks, a name that resonates with equestrian excellence from winning Badminton, Burghley and Kentucky 5* to her Olympics Silver medal, brings her fiery passion and deep insights to the episode and you can see the impact it has on our 5 finalists. 👏👏👏 Finally, an episode worth watching. Im glad i made the effort and may even grit my teeth through the remaining 40 mins od Ep3.
Vastly improved editing with better flow, decent chunks of sponsor info and more riding content. 😊 Still disjointed in parts and needs better storyboarding. The Rider Moments needed to be new content as much of it we had only just been shown.
Also needs more focus on which bits actually are mindset and not just training advice.
The improved editing is showing up issues with camera work and audio now though. 🤦♀️
We could have done with knowing about the voting from the start, whether this is a competition and if so, what the prize is. But notes have been taken, huge improvements made and maybe adding in voting is part of that process.
Now looking forward to Episode 5 and even a second series - tips for that: Chiropractor and physio checks for horse and rider; Master saddler and expert bit fitting (bearing Lucinda's advice in mind, they should all have been checked for bit guards before the lesson); rider fitness and core exercises (Pilates). That will fill 8 episodes without padding and repetition. Use sponsor content judiciously, placing it within the content they are spinsoring. 🎉

This is what we wanted to build. Educational, mindset driven, lots of rider footage and great key learnings for grassroots equestrians but above all else how good do our 5 finalists look. Thanks from the east coast of USA. I APPRECIATE that you are sharing this series on CZcams for all of us to watch instead of having to pay for a subscription in these hard times. Love the coaches and the amateur riders. I hope for the next series you will think of having more complete lessons so the viewers can learn and use some of the exercises taught to the riders. More riding and lessons and a lot less explaining what’s coming up and not so much of the full length sponsor ads. Your sponsors definitely got what they paid for. You all did a great job with the quality and format/ organization. Hoping for a big longer season 2. 👍👍
Have you thought about bringing in some rider biomechanics specialists for the next series? I am a huge believer in rider biomechanics and have seen how much it helps the riders and even more so for the horses. I think bringing in biomechanics instructors would be phenomenal.
Is this the Shane show or a show focusing on the amateur riders? You need to be involved in horses and ride yourself to develop a series that horsey people want to watch! Lad does not have a notion!
