    "Dude just say excuse me"
"I'm just gonna squeeze by right here"
    I fucking felt that
On a level somehow deeper than physical

To make myself feel better, I call retail stores I've never been to and tell them I'm not coming in on Friday. In fact, I quit. Try it.

I haven’t worked retail during the holidays for 4 years now, and this still gives me mild PTSD 🤪

You and 100 gecs have 2 of the only Christmas songs I play, after surviving retail 😬

After 7+ years of working retail for Christmas, I felt this in my soul.

You know...I never really felt happy around Christmas, but I try so hard. I JUST realized it's because I work retail and it just drains me and shows me the worst side of humanity.

And yes, I'm that dumb. I genuinely was so busy trying to make people happy and stay focused on paying my bills I never put two and two together.

I have a horrifying vision of the future where this was such a hit, that in ten years it ends up on the seasonal playlist in stores and is played twenty times a day along with Bing Crosby and Mariah Carey.
It's great, but going on a store's playlist destroys any song.
