Its a great space but done for a individual with a clear individual taste. Im sure most would need to renovate this completely and that cost another fortune.

The Ritz Carlton is a hundred times better than this one. The RC only needed a few changes, this one is a huge renovation project. The kitchen and the black marble in one of the bathrooms, was gorgeous, actually better than RC, other than that, nothing to like.
RC is definitely nice but I would prefer four Seasons apartments by the river, more modern and contemporary design and plus, you also get all the four Seasons facilities and services. But it's not everyone taste I guess :)

Thanks for making the video. The owner seems to have the worst taste of any person living in any Bangkok skyscraper. Literally. It's a dated, tacky concept, and very poorly executed. Love your other tours though.
I just stayed at the Akyra hotel in Thong Lor. Nice area! Currently staying at Sukhumvit 24. Also nice area.

Love the apartment with the renovation, thought it was very tasteful in my opinion. However, for 3M+, no balcony, what direction was the view, is there a pool, gym, lounge, parking garage? What building is it and is the immediate area around the building and access to MRT and Sky Train?

All that money and the gentleman decided to style the home himself. That whole place looks like him and a few buddies drank some beer and went on an online shopping spree. Surprised there was not a lion's head hanging somewhre on a wall.

The main room decor imo, is horrendous, vulgar super chav bling that looks like it was designed in the 1980s by a coked-up footballers wife with a Versace obsession for a TOWIE client. I can't think of anything worse than paying for a property that is so over curated, leaving zero room for an owner to furnish in their own style. You'd want it all cleared. The bedrooms are more refined; they kind of remind me of the George V in Paris, and high quality materials on walls and floors etc, but I prefer less Hollywood style glitz for my contents. (And yes, I do have a substantial BKK penthouse myself,. on the Chao Phraya riverside with Japanese/Chinese/Thai inspired design) and similar quality property in Phuket.
I laughed when she said ' I feel like I'm getting fresh air right now ' ( middle of the day in a completely out of professional work context 'I've just come straight from the nightclub' dress that only just covers the hoo-ha) ... But she speaks Thai well with a credible tone accurate accent, I'll give her that as few farang make that effort and she clearly knows her markets. Someone will have loved the place by now I hope

Nice video. Question, if you had it your way what two areas in Thailand would you split your time and have a condo in each area? I'm torn between Bangkok/Pattaya or Pattaya/ Phuket.
Hi Teodor, I would say Bangkok/ Phuket. You get the city life in Bangkok and the island life in Phuket best of both worlds, plus I think beaches in Phuket are far better than Pattaya. Let me know if you are thinking of making a move out here :)
The building is called _The Monument Thong lo._ Aside from the canal, its about as far as you can get from public transport in bangkok. Its in a terrible location. (Yeah, yeah, rich people bs. Rich people ride the subway in nyc all the time. No doubt they do in bkk too. No one wants to sit in traffic for 2 hours when the train takes 13 minutes).

This video is very nice , but the penthouse is for Chinese client, to dark, to much marble, to much decoration, for French the decoration is very ugly , crazy owner hahhaha
I don't think that's very nice. The average Chinese person has much better taste than that. There is nothing wrong with dark colors or marble if executed successfully. This is tacky and poorly done.
