    I wouldn't disagree with any of the disadvantages you mentioned. I would put Accomodation (renting or buying a place to live) as the number one problem of living in Ireland - there just aren't enough houses / apartments - so, the cost is far too high.
    One of the good things that Covid did was it encouraged restaurants and pubs in Ireland to provide outdoor covered seating - it has been disappointing to see some of those places withdraw those seats and tables where you could sit outside if the weather was reasonable.

      I agree, really love the fact that some places put few tables outside :) this summer was amazing! 🤩 Thanks so much for the nice comment

    You nailed it with number 4 and 5!!!
    My list would be like this;
    1. Weather
    2. Weather
    3. Weather
    4. Super high rent and almost impossible to find something decent even when you’re willing to pay a bit more. Most of the rental properties haven’t been renovated in ages and they have furniture like you’d see at our grandparents houses hahaha especially in the city center and they never have TV either.
    5. Lots of junkies, beggars and thieves especially in the city center on the north side (above Liffey). Like it’s perfectly normal to see junkies shooting up drugs in the middle of the street or laying on the streets
    In general even though Ireland is such a beautiful country, Dublin is just very gray. The architecture is gray, Liffey is gray and skies are gray so you can get very gloomy and depressed easily. No wonder so many people are junkies 🤣 and north side is also very very dirty.
    But yeah even in the south and very rich areas I never liked their architecture and it always looked old to me. Just not my favorite style.
    But Dublin has many amazing things about it as well.

      Thanks for the comment dear, I agree with you on the grayness of the architecture combined with the weather! There is beautiful smaller cities as for example Cork and Galway and think it would be nice for us to try to live there... will see if I will be able to convince Dovas one day :) Hugs :*

    I was wondering if you had considered trying a smaller Town or City in Ireland? I was born and bred in Dublin although I have lived overseas for years, but I think if I was to move back to Ireland I would try somewhere other than Dublin.

      Thank you so much for the nice comment. You are completely right and I am trying to convince my partner for the last almost 1 year but he is worried that it will be harder to find a good job for him as the one he has in Dublin. I am still trying, so hopefully at some point he will agree :) I really like Cork and Galway for example! Thank you :)

      Hi, before leaving such a negative comment I would watch my other video of 5 things I LOVE about Ireland. If I didn’t like it here I wouldn’t be here. There is no perfect country so no need to get upset 😊
      Lets be kind to each other!
