- if you checked out my previous vids about the hydraulic power steering issue, i had lots of problems with the steering pump leaks, was able to resolved that, then another leak showed up this time on the rack and pinion, so i tried using lucas stop leak, and it lessened the leak but a leak is still a leak,
next was i converted it to de-powered steering, inspired by Michael Flare and refine movement vids
BUT i didn't bother pulling down the rack and pinion and removing the huge washer or lock ring, i just remove all the lines, pump, belt and injected grease on the rack, i used the de-powered steering for like more than 2 years and works great except when car is on stand still
AND finally hoping that this will be the last mod about the steering EPS ( electric power steering ) or EPSA ( Electric Power Steering Assist)
motor and module, modified steering column to work with the honda civic eg
as always this is a late upload, so far eps working great no more leaks, no unwanted noise..etc..

does this will still remain auto center when you turning your steering?
auto center feature of the eps? i think it was disabled, since it is running on failsafe as per google search, so far i enjoy using it, i dont have a long test vid yet coz of super heavy traffic here in manila, but will definitely need to upload someday, will also upload the heat build up on motor and module so far it is very minimal, i can still touch em
Will this work on a manual steering rack?
yes it will work, and it will be much smoother and easier
Bro where do u get the signal for the speed that goes to the module?
i think its running on fail safe mode as per google and other forums
@@JomsF thanks bro, planning to do this mod but my car doesn't have an ECU as it's got a carb.
@@jms2861 you dont need an ECU to run that bro, that convertion is only connected to acc or even ignition for the positive wire with fuse, then the other wire on negative, then another red wired direct to battery with fuse, my friend where i got this from also installed the eps on carb type old school engines

about $300 to $350usd, only problem is the shipping cost much more expensive

ganda boss, Change my hydraulic into electric. Less maintenance at lumuwag luwag yung part ng left side headligh sa engine bay. Mas malinis dn. 👍🏻👍🏻
@@brylontoc6140 yes lods, kaso sa mga purist or purista its a NO NO daw, diko pa ma test ng 80kph ++ or more, kasi lintek ang traffic dito sa amin, puro gapang dito eh, sa madaling araw naman madilim, sayang yung good friday nawala sa isip ko maluwang nun..haayyysss may mga gumawa nadin sa ibang bansa kaso magulo conversion nila, eto sa atin malinis at simple lang
@@JomsF +1 ako boss, tama. Meron talaga ganun, gusto stock talaga. Tapos sa ibang bansa ganun nga, tama din, may mga pang yaris, volvo etc etc. at dito talaga sa atin simple lang at wala ng kung ano ano pang iibahin. Kung meron man, konti lang. Kaso boss naisip ko yung maintenance nya. 😅 Well sabagay depende pa din nga kung may budget kaso need na din palitan sa akin eh,

at kapag okay na, yung PSF need mo din monitor, (tagas etc, kung wala nmn, need mo naman palitan kapag madumi na - maintenance ulit)
kanya kanya din nga boss pero sa akin 100% satisfied ako eh. hahahah. Though sabi nga medyo malambot daw kapag sa racing (though hindi pa naman ako into racing), recommend naman sa akin ay pwede naman lagyan sya ng switch sa accesories wire (base sa napagpakabitan ko) para pwede i-on or off depende nalang sa pag gagamitan. Pero tama ka boss, kapag walang galaw ang manubela, naka manual sya at walang voltage na nagagamit... Saka lang sya gagamit ng voltage at lalambot kapag nasense nya na ginalaw mo na ang manubela. 👍🏻👍🏻
