Right when I saw this thumbnail, I was like "Oh she is not going to like these." I mean no pigment AND glitter!? Editing to add: You look so so pretty!
How would you say this compares to the hourglass blushes?
Bare minerals have a highlighter blush that seems similar. I'm not sure which one to get for the sephora sale. I'm looking for a highlighting blush that won't show any lines on my 60 year old skin.
I feel like you used the wrong brush with the wind shades. Maybe try the BK brush with the more sheer color since it's a denser brush and the last brush with the darker shade.
😂I was just thinking I’m not sure what the take away is. I think the brush has a lot to do with it, but may enhance texture since its luminosity supersedes most of its counterparts. You make a good paint too that we may have to apply it prior to setting makeup. I’ll definitely give one shade a try first before I get all the ones I’m eyeing.

I also just stared at how beautiful your wing liner was and how even they look. I’ve seen most ppl use the liquid blush with the corresponding blush highlighter and it looks nice I have hope so might get that
I got happy. I’ve worn it twice and I absolutely love it. I don’t even normally like a powder blush. I’m 62. I just love it.

I’m 64 and have happy also. I could tell just by looking at the compact it had a shimmer. It goes on my skin beautifully and it’s all I’ve been wearing lately ❤ I don’t like a heavy blush so I only use a little.

In my opinion Happy looked fantastic on you, very ethereal pretty light glowy color! I think that’s the key with these to pick one that matches your undertone and is light enough to look like this fairy dust kind of look. Also I use a very fluffy brush with Cheer and my other highlighting blushes from bare minerals - hope this helps someone ❤

I absolutely love these blushes. Bought cheer and hope to start, now I’m going back to get the others! They are multitaskers and allow me to just wear a little concealer and lightly add some color to my face. With a tiny bit of mascara and a matching lip oil I’m all good. Love it!!

I bought sheer and hope, still waiting for them to arrive. Have been debating on the peachy shade but I feel like the Natasha Denona Bloom palette is similar judging by the images online so who knows (and I want more use out of that). Planning on using sheer just as is and hope on top of the liquid hope blush for more of a pop/topper situation. Can’t wait to play with these. I really like these. I am not a blush person at all. Bc my rosacea but this would make me consider purchasing , bc of the lightness of it, and the sheen. For that perfect pinched look. But yes I absolutely agree and see what you’re talking about. It’s borderline. ❤
Love and Truth seem to be the two for deeper skin tones. I wish there was one that was like Encourage or Believe.
Hopefully she expands and maybe comes out with a matte version eventually!

I found the same thing with the highlighters. The glittery aspect emphasized texture!
Thank you for testing these for us. I do better with cream blush because of my very mature skin. I hope the new LYS blush won't be too metallic/shiny. I love a glow from within though. Your makeup is beautiful. Love the lip shade.

I saw someone try the liquid blush and put these in top and it looked really nice. I know they’re meant to be worn alone but that’s another way i suppose they can worn and maybe less “glitter” and more opacity especially if one has mature skin or texture. Thanks for the review! xx
So happy you compared Nabla. I bought the rare beauty blush in Love and remembered I have Nabla in shade Adults Only and it’s almost the same damn thing except Nabla is just a shade darker but they look so similar on my face I’m returning the rare beauty one.. thank you!
I got Joy & I'm so happy with the color. With the right brush it adds just enough color & glow without too much emphasis on texture. Side note, every video I've watched about these blushes, the color in the pan appears slightly different but overall looks more pigmented. Just FYI for those trying to pick a color. ✌️

What a great surprise to see this pop up in my feed. I just ordered Happy on the app release date without seeing or hearing any feedback or swatches so it was essentially a blind buy.
I now wish I would’ve ordered Joy instead. However, I was thinking that maybe I’ll use it as a blush topper on top of a matte blush. These are definitely interesting. I think the choice of what brush you use will be important too after seeing this video.

I’m interested in Hope and Joy. Well, I’m interested in all of them but I already have a tone of blushes and only two cheeks. I think these will suit me well, they remind me a lot of the Extra Dimension ones from MAC, and I love those.

Also I saw someone say that the lady from rare beauty said to smooth over it with your fingers and it will smooth out the pearls. And layering it over their liquid blushes is great too

i need help with the best primer to. prevent makeup from breaking up around my nose and on my forehead due to oil and probably touching face too much. i have combo skin with a very oily tzone, elf hydro girp, milk makeup hydro grip, nyx plump it right serum, rare beauty pore diffusing, smashbox original oil free or really anything you suggest lol.

Cheer is really light, so light that it's more of a highlighter on my light medium skin tone. But Truth is beautiful also. That's the deepest one I got. I got Cheer, Happy, Joy and Truth. Adding Hope for sure. I have other deep blushes like Love and while I like them, not a shade that I would like in this formula.
I think putting a highlighter over any blush would look exactly the same. If you’re looking for a luminous blush, I think loose mineral blushes are more flattering for texture.
These remind me of the Jaclyn cosmetics luminous loose blush toppers now that I think about it ❤
There’s a bare minerals loose blush called vintage peach that I used to wear years ago that I absolutely loved

Thats deff glitter’ these are blush TOPPERS. in my opinion …. Unless your 18 or in your early 20s with smooth / non textured skin then you’re golden

@@BabsBeauty I used the joy one this morning I had to tone it down with powder and the pallet had a kick up in the pan not like the love one did but I didn't think to mix them I will try that tomorrow and it gave me long wear I see it as a good summer glow when I lighten up on makeup with our Tx heat
I had the same reaction as you! The glitter and the formula. I felt it didn’t glide nicely and I had small glitter all over my face :/
