try all the following while the boss is shooting lasers from 4 sides:
1) hide in next to one of the 4 bullet dropping circles that you just blew up and rotate with the boss.
2) let your mini rockets shoot the boss all time l.
3) you only shoot the boss when your plane facing the boss.
4) the boss will turn firstly clockwise.
5) the boss will turn secondly counterclockwise
The sphere drone only gets released when you get too close to the boss

I'm really late to the party.. I just got to this stage today. Really liked the vid eo man.. I got clobbered all day.. And finally beat this guy on normal.. My first victory against this boss I used octopus.. Those seeker missles were useful to chip away when I couldn't stay out in front and shoot. I enjoyed your enthusiasm! I'm Subbed..
I found out that the floating probes won't deploy if you keep your distance from the core of the ship. Maintain your distance and fire away!

Now that you're confirming that Nightmare Mode is coming out, then Infinite Dreams needs to increase the Mega Bomb, Laser, & Energy Shield just like they did on the original Sky Force game! All 3 of those upgrades are still at 2 and the Energy Shield is at 3, Mega Bomb & Laser are at 4...
YEAH, ESPECIALLY THE ENERGY SHIELD. Compared to the 2014, Skyforce Reloaded's shield cuts off too quick. INCREASE the Upgrade for the Shields, Laser & Megabombs. This will enhance game play on the NIGHTMARE levels.

quixgofar Not to mention, the Survival Rope needs to be fixed, if you slightly budge while trying to rescue the survivors, then the charging cycle will automatically restart even though you're literally right next to him lol! That's a huge frustration on the harder levels.
Having played the first stage on nightmare, we are going to need all the help we can get.
Daniel Justin You can easily say that for Normal, Hard, & Insane difficulties on Stages 1 - 8, but when it comes to Stages 9 - 13 "possible 14" then you can't just easily spam your power-ups to get through those stages! All creates are random and spamming the Mega Bombs doesn't mean that you'll automatically get another from a random create. Nightmare Mode on the original Sky Force 2014 takes a lot of skill and luck to 100% each stage while using your power-ups wisely!
MuaHaHa I 120% concurr with your statement after watching try to beat it on "Normal" difficulty when it looked like you're trying out on "Insane" difficulty!!!

MuaHaHa oops. but i wonder if it's really possible to damage the limp berserker without killing it. stage 1 normal, perhaps?
maybe with the additional health upgrade in this release.
I think it has happened to me once that I survived a minor hit with LB when I got hit by a slow blue laser very briefly. Health went to down 10% or something...
My Limp survived the fire with 43% remaining. On Insane.
Love the Beginning.
Omega is now my #1 favorite boss, unlike Scarlett, he has a cutscene , he looks good , has magnificent weaponry, reminds me of skynet and omega from team dark.
I too learned the hard way you can't cheese the boss when it reaches the 4 huge lasers part by staying in the middle of boss itself, since it shocks you for continuous damage like those forks in special stage of the original Sky Force. Gonna take me some extra tries to refine my strategy there.

Hey! if you haven't already, try supercharging the iron clad. Also, if you didn't succeed, know that the [OMEGA] (the boss) releases the drones when you get too close. Great level, I'm so happy I got it.
Indeed. Supercharging both the ambulance and the Iron Clad creates a bubble that destroys projectiles.

Oh wow that boss is looking really amazing but extremely hard too! I noticed also in your video that with the missiles at lvl max you shoot two missilles instead of one. I think trying the octopus with the missiles max would be interesting...
Octopus works well on this stage as long as you're not using Slo Mo Chan.
Octopus is the best ship out there. I get such a piece of mind with those missiles.

no offence but i wish i have a frame rates ability like this in my phone...this stage is easy and I've beaten the boss from the second try in the worst below 45 frame rates without 3 new upgrades and without max power ups...only the classic with one shield with the supercharging ability.you are lucky to have high frames with big screen.good luck...note that the small enemy ball doesn't come out until you reach the centre area of the boss.

If you get hit on top of the little bubble things they break. IE just before the first "spider thing". It seems it might have something to do with the boss or something but I have not found out what.

Each drone is a card.
For the people having trouble with the final phase, just circle the boss while being in between where the lasers shoot. All that is left is patience. Remember to destroy the drone that is active before getting into this phase, though.
Where are you from where you got the update? Is it just a preview or did you actually get it

Hi +Muahaha when i switched to my tablet all progress is transferred but stars = zero.. whereas in phone i have 97552 stars.. stars are not transfered??

In all my attempts against that boss I have never seen it release those Sphere drones. Is that an older feature that they patched? That boss is hard enough on its own.

I agree that it's tough... I still don't have any more than Slow Mo, but we'll have plenty of time to work on getting them in tournaments and nightmare mode.

Lv8+ Hard/Insane
Play the highest stage on the highest difficulty you can successfully
complete without being touched. Use the Ace of Spades aircraft (if you
have it). Make sure you break open everything (all boxes, barrels,
towers, fuel tanks, etc.). If you get the temporary Increased Card Drop
Rate card... spend the next 15 minutes grinding with Ace of Spades.
Also, Stage 4 has a tone of extra stuff to shoot that drop cards and
parts. Hope that helps. Good luck!

Last card you can get only from stage 8-13 on Hard/Insane. I grinded that last card couple days with Ace of Spades + Card Drop Rate Card + Lucky Tecnician but didn't get it. I got it eventually with bersereked on Stage 12 Hard :D

Level 14? I think this is the last looking at the achievents. When I complete a level with ambulance it doesn't highlight the number of the levels. Do you have this bug too? This level looks impossible :)
Daniel Justin not internet problems. It just persist :(. It even gave me Ambulance Game Center achievement
Stage 13 is the last official stage. After you beat Omega it runs end of game credits and animation, then unlocks Nightmare. I think additional stages will be bonus stages.

This boss is fucking insane. But I got luck and finished him in the second time, I dont know how! Was very luck...I used octupus, think is the best one. I would like that Infinite Dreams could develop some new weapons system to help because we are geting new levels, harders levels and we just have the extra/special weapons to help. We need more ships or something to suport us during the very hard levels...
