Oh, didn't see that coming! So that's why the sister wasn't helping out and just gave advice. She was a figment of her memory. That's so sad. :(

I was wondering why Sarah wasn't helping to fight the Zombies, then I understood. Also I am uncontrollably weeping and I am not sure why. There's just something about Mary Kate's voice that is so soulful
So obviously, Sarah is dead during this whole scenario; that's a given. But the sister who is alive... this was a hallucination induced by a zombie bite, and the sickness that comes before death. At the end where it shows the reality, the sister obviously looks very ill, but also look at the left side of her face under her hoody. If you look closely enough, you will see that her left ear is torn up pretty badly. That, plus right before the final scene where Sarah is seen crying over her sister, most likely means one thing: Sarah is shown to be crying not because she is dead, but because she was guarding over her sister who is now bitten and not going to wake up again (at least not alive). If I said anything incorrectly here please correct me, because I love this video and I think it goes deeper than most people think.
+Edward Carnes Also, this is just a random theory I came up with after watching it closely several times. I'm probably completely wrong, but it's still something to think about. Her ear is obviously torn up, she look's sick, and she sounds awful... pretty sure shes dying.
I think what you're seeing on her ear is actually the plaid hood she has under her other hoodie. But I still like your analysis.

This is way more heartbreaking the second time through - when you realise what happens/happened some of the lines are just more... gutting, and telling actually all at the same time.

I have a theory:
SPOILER ALERT!
I believe that Katherine is schizophrenic and under depression. She is alone in life which is probably the reason why she is alone in the end. The "zombie apocalypse" implied does not mean it is a literal but metaphorically, signifies the mental breakdown of a person. Somehow, she battles depression everyday which is represented by those zombies and I believe her schizophrenia is helping her to do so. Her sister is assisting her and always guides her in her everyday refuge. And if she failed to do so, she will have a mental breakdown and be like those zombies in real life, lifeless and unconscious. This is how mental illnesses and disorders affect our lives and it is scary like a horror movie. Just like the movie, it somehow starts as fun but then in the end, it is still sad and depressing when you think about it.
I have a theory:
It could be bunnies.
Well it could've been worse. They could've sung 'You Are My Sunshine'

The acting in this is really good. It was cute and funny at the start but I have to be honest the ending had my in tears. For some reason I kind of knew that twist was happening, but it still got me with the incredible dialogue. Great work from everyone on set.
