    1 thing i really appreciate about livermore is he is not shy to call himself a speculator. all these kids out here think they are doing themselves a favor buy believing they are investors in a speculative market. speculation is not a bad word there are speculators then there are people who speculate who believe they are investors.

    Nice voice, and well-organised content and delivery. Apart from the Jesse Livermnore and Larry Hite videos, are there any other trading videos read out by the same voice on here?

      What do you mean?

    • @lucasfrs
      @lucasfrs Před rokem

      Livermore was an option trader (calls and puts), it is something like future contracts with derivatives... I read his book "reminiscences of a stock operator", but Im still to read this where Wyckoff interviews him...

    The initial assertion of the video is that Jesse Livermore is a successful trader. After losing all this money he put a bullet in his brain. How do we define success? If that’s success I don’t want it!

    • @ReadAndGrow
      @ReadAndGrow  Před rokem +1

      I see your point. He was a successful speculator in terms of return on investment. In my opinion, one must master two skills - the science of achievement and the art of fulfillment. Clearly, Jesse Livermore was missing the second one.

      Depends how you look at it. Some principles never change. Also, this is a book review, the book itself is not new, so no surprise here.

      "There is nothing new under the sun." Jesse Livermore. Knowing is only half the game. Controlling your emotions is the hard part.

  • @jameslinmd
    @jameslinmd Před 11 měsíci

    Losing 10% on a trade is too high. You need to restricted to 5% or less.

      Theses were his rules from the book. Great adjustment from your side to know your numbers and have a clear cutoff.
