Expert Talks | Specialising in Sustainability as an Architect: What it Involves

What does sustainability mean in the architecture world? How can architects learn sustainable design? How does one go about building a career in sustainability? And how does BIM as a tool feature in sustainable architecture?
In this video, we speak to Oneistox mentor Afshan Rehman. A US-based architect, Afshan has a deep passion for creating a greener world through policies, business operations, and building construction. She has a demonstrated history of working in corporate social responsibilities, designing, modelling, and certifying sustainable buildings. During her time at Carnegie Mellon University, she explored the fields of sustainable operations, building performance simulations, HVAC systems, generative modelling, environmental science, daylighting, and energy finance.
