I think it should not matter as much whether or not there's some personal bias as long as the true information regarding specs, benchmarks etc are divulged. Ultimately the decision is in the hands of the consumer. What this channel did to me is to keep me informed about the new players in the market, and saved me hours of research, plus, this guy is entertaining

As a techy person I have some things to say. Nakakatrigger kasi minsan yung title at minsan nakakalito yung review. Nakakaconfuse lang kung alin ba ang phone na better than the other kaya we choose to switch out main go to reviewer(Prime example dito ang "Ipad kabahan na dito","Tatalo kay Iphone ()" and some others). I am a subscriber ever since techbeans era pa and until now, he still the same but as a became more techy compared to what I am 5 years ago (I could repair, troubleshoot and modify/upgrade some of my phones) I became hungrier for clarity and accurate reviews but I'm not saying na hindi accurate yung kay sir vince, it's just a matter of preference and I happen to find that kay Pinoy Techdad, Sulit Tech Reviews, some videos from Unbox PH, Unbox Therapy and Mrwhosetheboss. Being biased is given for every reviewer, seller and even us consumers pero just like sir vince said na "we all have our preferences" and hindi nga dapat talaga tayo nakatali sa iisang reviewer lang kasi it is our hard earned money kaya we all seek for the best value. I will still continue watching your vids so keep it up sir vince. Congrats ulit for reaching this far and continue to strive for more!!

most of the channel namnan na pinapanood ko is kompleto na yung informations about the phone kahit 10-15 mins lang yung vid. Like Pinoy techdad or hardware voyage, pag napanood mo na yung video nila about a phone alam mo na kung sulit ba o hindi yung isang phone. Iba pa rin talaga pag yung reviewer ay direct to the point ,honest at hindi nag susugar coat.
true, unbox diaries isn't really my go to channel for an in-depth review for tech products anymore; the channel vids are still entertaining and fun, but entertainment isn't enough to be a solid tech tuber imo

Sinasabi halos lahat ng review niya "WALA NANG MAKAKATALO NITO" yan palagi nasa caption, like what? The bias is stemming from your pre-filtering / pre-choosing what is considered "sulit" by price. You already made a decision at an early stage kaya it would seem na incomplete yung assessment. Value for Money doesn't necessarily mean na ang mga cheapest items lang ang sulit. Value for Money naman din kahit medyo mahail pero yung overall value is higher than the price. Also, If you say pinaka-sulit, it's actually a comparative statement. So saan mo kinompara yung item kung kulang ang variety na nireview? Dito malamang nanggagaling ang impression na biased ka. Kinukuha mo lang yung tingin mo ay sulit. Also i-tone down mo din siguro yung hyper, super, over-reactions mo boss. Kasi it doesn't lend to your authoritativeness. Sa 11:20 na part as the "purchaser" u really have to watch ALL the reviews available on the phone that u like, for example infinix note 30 5g, u have to watch all tech/phone reviewers on their experience and compile your thoughts on what you actually see on infinix note 30 5g . Once you now what to compromise and what you really like then that's the time to decide to buy it or not(based on personal experience)

Four years ago, noong natisod ako sa channel na ito. And as the year past by, I can say that this channel changed a lot in a good way. They promote other channels, may episode pa ako na napanood where in they even helped the channels na sinasabing "ginagaya" sila. But the best thing that I appreciate the most is that they picked the phone that they review. Hindi yung kung anong meron, review agad. Kaya naiintindihan ko when Sir Vince say good things about the phone dahil yun yung reasons bakit pinili nya yung phone/device na yun. Sir Vince, just keep doing what you're doing. To be honest, you're just over exaggerating the review but I know that's your persona and that's where you were known for. But not all people will understand that, just keep up the good work I guess.
Reviews are basically, personal opinions. Of course, there will be some bias, to a certain degree. This is what happens when there is perspective, personal perspective, involved; and this is a NORMAL HUMAN THING. And product reviewers are just that, HUMANS. And we need to keep that in mind. It would be foolish to not take what they say with a grain of salt. Just because they have a platform, does not make them experts. But the problem, sometimes if not oftentimes, is the viewers are the ones who elevate them to that pedestal of "expertness"(if there's even such a word). But! If they do claim to be "experts", then test them. See how much of an expert they really are. And if it seems they are just brand-pimping or product-whoring, then either call them out or just move on; kung hindi ka agree, eh di hindi ka agree. Why be hyper sensitive and easily "offended" and be all salty about it? Are there shills out there? Of course there are! It would plain stupid to think there aren't. That is why people need to exercise their critical-thinking skills. Because in the end, the decision is always the individual viewer's. Ngayon, KUNG IKAW NA VIEWER AY WALANG CRITICAL-THINKING ABILITY, THAT IS YOUR PROBLEM. Ang mga katulad mo ang paboritong target(dahil uto-uto ka) ng mga marketing strategy ng mga brands and their shills. Bawat isa sa atin, may kanya-kanyang criteria/opinion on things. "Budget" or "Sulit" or "Affordable" or "Cheap" can mean different things to different people. What affordable is to someone who earns 40K a month, might be considered a luxury or even a "shot at the moon" for someone who's on minimum wage. And given the limitations and time constraints on this platform, or the limitations because of how Vince has chosen to structure and present his content, do you think it would be cost-effective or even worth it, or even sanely realistic, to cover all the financial demographics, just to satisfy the many definitions of the word "sulit" or "affordable" to each and every demographic, on every product he reviews just for the sake of being "UNBIASED"? And he always mentions the PROS, CONS, LIMITATIONS, AND SHORT COMINGS of the products he reviews. All one has to do is PAY ATTENTION and COMPREHEND what he is saying. Hirap din kasi sa mga tao ngayon, gusto lahat spoon-fed; wala nang discernment and ability to think critically. At kung gusto mo talaga ng UNBIASED REVIEW. THEN BASAHIN MO NA LANG YUNG SPEC SHEET NG ISANG PRODUCT. Don't look for a reviewer or a presenter to discuss to you these things or to tell you what they think. Kasi, once you involve another person, another HUMAN BEING, then that HUMAN BEING WILL BE EXPRESSING SOME SORT OF PERSONAL BIAS TO A CERTAIN DEGREE. BECAUSE IT'S A NORMAL HUMAN THING TO DO! Kung AYAW MO NG "BIAS" ng ibang tao, IKAW NA LANG ANG MAG BASA AT UMINTINDI NUNG PRODUCT SPECS, tapos, FIGURE THINGS OUT ON YOUR OWN. To be honest, I watch his phone reviews or “promotion” or whatever the people want to call it because Vince is entertaining. Siguro nga may ibang information na kulang, may opinion siyang iba sa tech reviewers but at the end of the day, it’s still the buyer’s responsibility na magtingin pa din ng ibang opinion and reviews from other CZcamsrs with the same content (although, I am aware that it’s also the reviewer’s responsibility din na i-disclose lahat) kaya lang that’s HIS review on the product, tingin nya maganda eh wala tayo magagawa dun. Kung may doubt naman kayo, you can always search for another review which I also did before buying my phone (CZcams is COMPLETELY free, people). Besides, hindi lang naman siya yung kulang minsan magbigay ng info about the product, or biased as people are saying. A number of them do, actually, but hindi na para pangalanan pa kasi hindi naman natin sisiraan yung mga content creators. Kaya you must collect different reviews from different tech reviewers. From my experience, there’s one who said nothing but negativity sa phone na binili ko ngayon, pero sa iba, ok naman. And now that I am using the unit, ok naman din talaga. Pero review yun nung tao eh. So why spread hate, mga people? Mygod. May nabasa pa akong reply sa isa sa mga comments dito, isa lang daw sagot ng mga talunan daw at ayaw sa arguments, "manood sa iba kapag nakulangan sa isang reviewer". Ang bobo lang e, yun ang sinasagot ng tao dahil yun yung dapat gawin ng taong may critical thinking lalo sa pagbili ng gadget. I think it should not matter as much whether or not there's some personal bias as long as the true information regarding specs, benchmarks etc are divulged. Ultimately the decision is in the hands of the consumer. What this channel did to me is to keep me informed about the new players in the market, and saved me hours of research, plus, this guy is entertaining

As a techy person I have some things to say. Nakakatrigger kasi minsan yung title at minsan nakakalito yung review. Nakakaconfuse lang kung alin ba ang phone na better than the other kaya we choose to switch out main go to reviewer(Prime example dito ang "Ipad kabahan na dito","Tatalo kay Iphone ()" and some others).
I am a subscriber ever since techbeans era pa and until now, he still the same but as a became more techy compared to what I am 5 years ago (I could repair, troubleshoot and modify/upgrade some of my phones) I became hungrier for clarity and accurate reviews but I'm not saying na hindi accurate yung kay sir vince, it's just a matter of preference and I happen to find that kay Pinoy Techdad, Sulit Tech Reviews, some videos from Unbox PH, Unbox Therapy and Mrwhosetheboss.
Being biased is given for every reviewer, seller and even us consumers pero just like sir vince said na "we all have our preferences" and hindi nga dapat talaga tayo nakatali sa iisang reviewer lang kasi it is our hard earned money kaya we all seek for the best value. I will still continue watching your vids so keep it up sir vince. Congrats ulit for reaching this far and continue to strive for more!!

most of the channel namnan na pinapanood ko is kompleto na yung informations about the phone kahit 10-15 mins lang yung vid. Like Pinoy techdad or hardware voyage, pag napanood mo na yung video nila about a phone alam mo na kung sulit ba o hindi yung isang phone. Iba pa rin talaga pag yung reviewer ay direct to the point ,honest at hindi nag susugar coat.
true, unbox diaries isn't really my go to channel for an in-depth review for tech products anymore; the channel vids are still entertaining and fun, but entertainment isn't enough to be a solid tech tuber imo

The bias is stemming from your pre-filtering / pre-choosing what is considered "sulit" by price. You already made a decision at an early stage kaya it would seem na incomplete yung assessment. Value for Money doesn't necessarily mean na ang mga cheapest items lang ang sulit. Value for Money naman din kahit medyo mahail pero yung overall value is higher than the price. Also, If you say pinaka-sulit, it's actually a comparative statement. So saan mo kinompara yung item kung kulang ang variety na nireview? Dito malamang nanggagaling ang impression na biased ka. Kinukuha mo lang yung tingin mo ay sulit. Also i-tone down mo din siguro yung hyper, super, over-reactions mo boss. Kasi it doesn't lend to your authoritativeness. Four years ago, noong natisod ako sa channel na ito. And as the year past by, I can say that this channel changed a lot in a good way. They promote other channels, may episode pa ako na napanood where in they even helped the channels na sinasabing "ginagaya" sila. But the best thing that I appreciate the most is that they picked the phone that they review. Hindi yung kung anong meron, review agad. Kaya naiintindihan ko when Sir Vince say good things about the phone dahil yun yung reasons bakit pinili nya yung phone/device na yun.

Reviews are basically, personal opinions. Of course, there will be some bias, to a certain degree. This is what happens when there is perspective, personal perspective, involved; and this is a NORMAL HUMAN THING. And product reviewers are just that, HUMANS. And we need to keep that in mind. It would be foolish to not take what they say with a grain of salt.
Just because they have a platform, does not make them experts. But the problem, sometimes if not oftentimes, is the viewers are the ones who elevate them to that pedestal of "expertness"(if there's even such a word). But! If they do claim to be "experts", then test them. See how much of an expert they really are. And if it seems they are just brand-pimping or product-whoring, then either call them out or just move on; kung hindi ka agree, eh di hindi ka agree. Why be hyper sensitive and easily "offended" and be all salty about it? Are there shills out there? Of course there are! It would plain stupid to think there aren't. That is why people need to exercise their critical-thinking skills. Because in the end, the decision is always the individual viewer's.
Ngayon, KUNG IKAW NA VIEWER AY WALANG CRITICAL-THINKING ABILITY, THAT IS YOUR PROBLEM. Ang mga katulad mo ang paboritong target(dahil uto-uto ka) ng mga marketing strategy ng mga brands and their shills.
Bawat isa sa atin, may kanya-kanyang criteria/opinion on things. "Budget" or "Sulit" or "Affordable" or "Cheap" can mean different things to different people. What affordable is to someone who earns 40K a month, might be considered a luxury or even a "shot at the moon" for someone who's on minimum wage. And given the limitations and time constraints on this platform, or the limitations because of how Vince has chosen to structure and present his content, do you think it would be cost-effective or even worth it, or even sanely realistic, to cover all the financial demographics, just to satisfy the many definitions of the word "sulit" or "affordable" to each and every demographic, on every product he reviews just for the sake of being "UNBIASED"?
I've been watching Vince for some time now. I've even watched some of his contents during his "Tech Beans" era. And he always mentions the PROS, CONS, LIMITATIONS, AND SHORT COMINGS of the products he reviews. All one has to do is PAY ATTENTION and COMPREHEND what he is saying. Hirap din kasi sa mga tao ngayon, gusto lahat spoon-fed; wala nang discernment and ability to think critically.
At kung gusto mo talaga ng UNBIASED REVIEW. THEN BASAHIN MO NA LANG YUNG SPEC SHEET NG ISANG PRODUCT. Don't look for a reviewer or a presenter to discuss to you these things or to tell you what they think. Basta ako masaya ako panoorin itong si vince, kasi una sa lahat hindi boring panoorin kahit papano meron siyang humor yung hindi masyado seryoso sakto din mga edit at add ons ng mga memes na hindi o.a maganda pagkaka-timing sa bitaw niya ng jokes. To be honest, I watch his phone reviews or “promotion” or whatever the people want to call it because Vince is entertaining. Siguro nga may ibang information na kulang, may opinion siyang iba sa tech reviewers but at the end of the day, it’s still the buyer’s responsibility na magtingin pa din ng ibang opinion and reviews from other CZcamsrs with the same content (although, I am aware that it’s also the reviewer’s responsibility din na i-disclose lahat) kaya lang that’s HIS review on the product, tingin nya maganda eh wala tayo magagawa dun. Kung may doubt naman kayo, you can always search for another review which I also did before buying my phone (CZcams is COMPLETELY free, people).
Besides, hindi lang naman siya yung kulang minsan magbigay ng info about the product, or biased as people are saying. A number of them do, actually, but hindi na para pangalanan pa kasi hindi naman natin sisiraan yung mga content creators. Kaya you must collect different reviews from different tech reviewers. From my experience, there’s one who said nothing but negativity sa phone na binili ko ngayon, pero sa iba, ok naman. And now that I am using the unit, ok naman din talaga. Pero review yun nung tao eh. So why spread hate, mga people? Mygod.
