Hitch Hotel Traveler. I would love to see the car's gas mileage after state to state travels. There's a reason Streamlined trailers were a thing since the 1930s.
When I was almost 6 years old to 9 years old my parents with my sister had a Starcraft pop up camper from the 70’s. We had it till the early 90’s. It was good to have during the summer in the driveway so my sister slept in or myself. Even my parents friends used it,too.
The Conqueror is not originally from OZ but from South Africa. I have owned one way back in 1998 and already then it was an excellent unit that took me all over southern Africa. Almost 7000 miles in total with not a single breakdown or wear issue. The only incident was a Hyena that chewed on one tire after some foodstuff was spilled over it. The only negative if I may call it a negative issue is that it can get hot inside it in summer during the day under the African sun. But after all, it is an overlander unit, and therefore one travel around during the day or at least be outside!!!! Only good memories with my Conqueror!
I think the Australian company used the same ideas fro. The South African cone but made it better for Australian conditions while also being affordable
in a stationary house you can at least stand up and not worry about somebody toppling it over with a tossed stone , as is the situation with these units
very little footage of the inside of these things, and that's the bit I'm interested in. Obviously it's good to see a few shots of it being hauled and set-up/disestablished. But mostly I wanna see what it's like inside :-(
Hmm. The Mody seems like the perfect cure for homelessness. At least as regards those who are homeless by choice because they don't want to be "trapped" in a place, that is. Just give them all a bicycle & a Mody with the kitchen & solar power upgrades, & there you go. Just think how many of those you could fit into a trailer park, for crying out loud!
As an owner of many campers myself I can tell you just by looking at these that they're going to be a nightmare in about a year. Every camper has problems multiple problems, constant problems. But that one Swiss Army looking camper pop top looks like an absolute nightmare I would stay away from that thing like the plague.
I don’t have a dog in this fight, but I thought Patriot was the standard in Australia for rugged trailers. All trailers are nice, and some are exceptionally nice for a price.

i feel like the mody could be used as the opus but smaller just get the solar panels installed and the cooking stove then just hook up projetor but in my opinion the opus is better
some of these units are about the size of large doghouses, for the price, presumably, of a small house and plot of land......i'll go with cargo ( conversion)

It's too bad the Sealander can be transported at speeds "up to 100 kph." The speed limit where I live is 120 kph (75 mph) so taking it on the road here would severely inhibit the flow of traffic. Can't have that.
The Mody is ridiculously high in price. A trailer for a bicycle starts at............6000.000 bucks! It probably didn't even cost a hundred dollars to build. This could be great for poor people in a bad situation. However, It's just another toy for the rich.
The only one here that caught my eye was the commander…rest i wouldnt even consider looking at. For first time campers any opus is a good first choice though

I put my baby in the mody while I was riding my bike. 10/10. it gave my baby brain damage. Saved a lot of money by putting it down.
