I was Muslim and converted to being a follower of our lLord Jesus Christ..I prayed to God one time with all my heart and asked him to show me if he’s real then Jesus came into my life. I heard God speak, he spoke to me audibly. Yes, I heard the voice of God speak to me. My husband had moved out of our home, I was devastated by this I spent all my days laying on my bedroom flooring praying for God to send him home. One Sunday morning while standing in church singing It Is Well With My Soul I was praying that same prayer with tears streaming down my face and I heard God speak to me. He called my name, it was if He were standing right beside me speaking directly into my right ear, I heard Him only in my right ear, He said “Margaret you are praying the wrong thing, he has to come back to me before he can come back to you”. I felt my entire countenance change immediately and it has never been the same. He completely changed my heart, I have never felt like I did before that moment since. My entire life has been changed, while my husband has not come back home my relationship with Christ is completely different, I am a new creation in Christ. My husband has not changed but our relationship has has changed, I pray for him to renew his relationship with God and I have become a much better person. I am still praying for him to come back to Christ, I believe someday he will.

Back a few years ago I sitting in my bathroom contemplating suicide .. drugs alcohol guns ropes.. I heard a voice saying “I still love you” I just knew it was Jesus … next morning I woke up and started praying to the Lord to help me with my depression and help me with joy.. I wasn’t “cured” over night but this was 3.5 yrs ago.. I feel everyday myself getting closer to God I have so much joy in my life, I’m not scared to die, I find things in life that used to give me anxiety that are now flat out irrelevant.. JESUS IS LORD Hallelujah! Repent and spread the good news ! God bless!
Can you pray for me? I have depression and I want out. I want to have no anxiety anymore and have more joy and be closer to the Lord.

Facts!! And this helps you differentiate if the voice you’re hearing is really God’s voice because you’ll know that if it doesn’t line up with his word, then it’s not of God!!

That's right. It would be extremely rare if ever that a person today is going to hear God speak. He has given us His Word the Bible to hear him from.
I did have God or probably an angel speak audibly to me once, and tell me what was going to happen that evening and it did happen. That same day he showed me where Samson's strength came from, and days later showed me how that Elijah out ran the chariot.
I find that to be true. And that is because you are in close communication with him. Also the Holy Spirit will give you the knowledge and wisdom you need in every area of your life. Because He leads you to all truth.
I was accused of doing something that I didn't do by a co-worker. It kept me up all night. I was praying and waiting on the Lord. While I was praying and reading my Bible. He told me I will take care of my children. He resolved my situation at work. Provided a new position.

@@shandiwarren6454 I don't know but personally, I am yet to come across something that pastor Morris said that isn't doctrinally sound. However, I know that sometimes even if people have the best of intentions they sometimes misinterpret God's word. The good thing is you have access to God's word and God speaks to you so if you hear anything you can always test it against what the Bible says.
I was struggling in a season of life and I was taking with God about it and asked "Are You going to take care of me Lord?
I heard an audible voice say "Haven't I always?" 😳 yes, Lord! You sure have.

One time I had to move in a short period of time and was very fearful to the point of shutting down. The next day on my lunch hour I went to a local convenience store to pick up a newspaper. Walking back to my car I found a penny. It has always been my connection over the years with the Lord to trust Him. When I picked it up I heard a voice not audibly saying trust Me. Went back to work and picked up a call which was a customer that I've always talked to. That same voice said to me ask her. I was stunned. So, I asked her if she knew of a place for rent. She said funny you should ask I have a place. Went to see it the next day and the following day I had the keys. The Lord was teaching me to recognize His voice and to trust Him.

I had been praying and asking God to just please let me hear his voice and one night i was sleeping and i heard him say John John. I jumped up from my sleep and said what Father! And it was so plan like he was right there with me. It was so beautiful and amazing

I had a similar experience I awoke from a deep sleep by the most soothing smooth yet bold voice I ever heard, sadly I could not understand what I heard. But it was less than 1 line of sentence.
Receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in Tongues (your personal prayer language from God) and it will make you more sensitive to His voice as you continue praying in the spirit. Praying in the Holy Spirit is praying out the will of God for your life and others, without letting your head getting in the way. He is so good, the best part is the enemy doesn’t know what you are praying… like a Morse code from God. It’s in the Bible check it out Acts Chapter 2, 1 Corinthians 14, Mark 16:17, Jude vs. 20
I have never could hear his voice but I really want it to happen, at least just once
Since the age of 6, I had a hunger for God. Through much family neglect, abuse and dysfunction, I always had faith and knew Jesus was with me. Now, in my 60's, I have seen and had thoughts come into my mind suddenly that proved a positive result. The one that stunned my husband and me the most was a dream I had that I should go to our favorite diner for breakfast because there would be a medical emergency. Told my husband and dud not give it another thought. Next day, we were at that diner and just as in that dream, it unfolded as it showed me. Two young men walking into the restroom. Manager and staff running. As a former EMT and Nurse, I followed and lying on the floor blue and cold from an over dose was a 20 some year old male not breathing. Repositioned him, opened airway, CPR, until he began breathing again. That shook me so much, spoke to my Pastor. God does put us where we belong. All glory and honor to the One.
God IS doing miracles.

Jesus audibly spoke to me one night.
I had been interested in wicca and new aged theology. But I started feeling God tug at my heart. So I started listening to Christian sermons. And one night before I went to bed I was so confused and frustrated. I out loud just asked what is the truth. I just wanted to know the truth! At the time I didn't even know who i was asking or talking to. I just said I want to know the truth I just want to do the right thing. After I said that I laid down to go to bed and as I was laying there trying to fall asleep I audibly heard " follow me " I jumped up so fast and immediately yelled WHAT NO! Because I have had supernatural experiences and I guess I automatically thought whatever was talking to me was evil. And then I sat down and realized I felt a peace and I just had a knowing in my heart I had just heard from Jesus. At that time I really didn't know much about Christianity and had never even held a Bible. I called my sister in law who had been saved a long long time ago and said tell me everything I need to know a out Jesus. Well I eventually started reading the word and imagine my surprise when I started to hear and read that " follow me " was something Jesus actually said lol I gave my life to him and have been seeking his face ever since. I even sat my whole family down and told my kids I had to repent that I had been wrong... I was wrong about Jesus and I had given my life to him. And since that my family have been saved as well. Jesus is king.

Love this! Praise God! I LOVE that you said seek HIS FACE! I say that a lot! The closeness of seeking HIS Face is what it’s all about! It’s the intimate relationship that in my opinion makes the difference! I always add, seek His Face Not His hand! When you seek Him and that intimate relationship you really have no other expectations other than to Know Him deeply! With that sincere relationship comes the most Amazing change in the person, in myself! I had known of God all my life and would actually pray almost daily but I wasn’t really changing! This little wise young boy gave me these words and that’s when I realized I was praying and picking everything back up afterwards, just words basically! When I whole heartedly layed everything down and started seeking His Face everything started to change in my heart and soul! Praise God!
I have come to know that God speaks in different tonalities! There's the Still small voice, and the Loud & Commanding voice and there are times when certain scriptures come to mind that resonates in my spirit..

My husband told me 3 days before he died that he heard a male called his name. He was busy in the garden, heard his name called 3 times...no one was there. 3 days later my husband died in his sleep...unexpectedly. I did not think much of it at the time but after he died, I BELIEVE that God called him Home. 🙏

@@akungintip1657 I don't believe He speaks to us audibly. What we think we hear can be our own thoughts or the enemy or something else. The revelation of God ended when the NT was finished: Hebrews 1:2 says He spoke through His Son and in 2:3,4 it says "it was attested to us by those who heard..." We must study the Word and there we will find wisdom and guidance, not through a voice.We hear the Shepherd's voice by reading the written Word.

3 nights ago I prayed from my soul to Him and cried to Him. It was one of the most sincere and Holy prayers from my heart I've ever done. I washed all my bedding and clothing and cleaned my room for The Holy Spirit to be present also been fasting daily now. I cried out and asked Him to stay with me and to please stay with me all night. I asked Him to please make sure I wake up on time in the morning to meet my granddaughter and children at the Church building where I volunteer whom I hadnt seen in over a year. I slept like a baby and slept through my 5:30 am alarm. I was awoken by a soft whisper like voice calling my name , sounding neither make nor female and I could still hear the voice as I awoke even though He only said my name the one time. I had this experience about 8 months ago while coming back to the faith. He'd woke me up at night twice but I was afraid, a feeling I cannot explain would surge through my body urging me to wake up , pray, read the Word , watch sermons and God would speak to me this way . He is amazing and His grace is more than sufficient. I love You Jesus. Thank You for loving me and forgiving me LORD

Jesus spoke audibly to me one night it wasn’t a dream it was more like an out of body experience. I was a new believer age 27 after seeking truth and one major thing didnt make sense to me when I became a believer , I asked Jesus in my heart didn’t even speak it out loud , how is it that He is real and no one in my life had ever told me He was or why people didn’t reflect what’s taught in the Bible.
So In my out of body experience I had a vision of Jesus I was surrounded by light everywhere and His robe was so beautiful it was majestic He was perfect , I wasn’t allowed to see His face and then He spoke
“They hear , but do not listen.”
See this is what I’m talking about. Lord please don’t let us be deceived! When I was called by the Lord I got upset reflecting back when I was a little girl. I questioned everything wanting to know how things got here, always looking up to heaven. I asked the Lord what happened? That’s when I heard “ you stopped looking up.” Your experience reminds me of that moment. I had nothing to say after the Lord spoke, it was true. May we grow to love our creator more and more, drawing ever closer to Jesus leaving the cares of the world behind only adhering to Father’s heart.
Last year I heard his voice too, but I wasn't sure if it was him because it was a time of spiritual warfare for me and I felt the presence too. I was calm and it felt peaceful and I also felt when it went away. The problem is I don't remember because I doubt it and I just pray against demons and rebuked them. Idk cause I just calm back to the faith and started my growth journey. I had lost my faith in 2019 and went into a deep depression.

This is very similar to my experience. I was in the military. God had just delivered me from a lifestyle of sin and strongholds. I began to strongly desire to see the face of Jesus. I was in Ludwigsburg germany, lying on my stomach on my bed in my barracks. I felt as if someone took each thumb and forefinger and lift my spirit from my body as if i was being picked up like a piece of paper. I looked down at my hand in the spirit realm and saw my hand was holding the hand of Jesus. I suddenly started to feel ashamed of my sins. Then I immediately felt this all encompassing, unconditional love. I knew that I was truly loved completely. I became aware of Jesus. He was wearing a bright white iridescent rainbow garment. It's almost like the garment without seams was a part of Him. I saw his feet and hands, but I didn't see His face, but although, earlier I had been asking to see His face, now it didn't matter. The only thing that mattered was that i was in his presence! Then I noticed we were in a large green lush field with the edges blurred out. He moved with me while still holding my hand to the edge of river. I knew I was in the place the 23rd psalm talks about, "He makes me to lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside still waters, He restores my soul..."At this point while still holding my hand(not sure how), He jumped across the water to the other river bank on the other side like a playful child. He still held my hand even though He was on the other side and I was on this side of the river. Then my heart began to ache as if I had lost Him and I felt a deep grief. He said you can't come with me right now, you have some things left to do. He didn't speak in an audible voice, it was a voice in my spirit. I missed Him deeply and wanted to go to the other side to be with Him. Somehow I knew that crossing this river represented the veil between the physical world and the spiritual world. I then became aware I was back in my body. These are the desires of your heart Jesus, is talking about. Not desires of this world, but of Him and His presence! Nothing, I mean Nothing, can compare!
Your so lucky to have been able to experience that.i have begged god all my life to have an experience with him like that. Maybe other get that bc they dont believe or have doubts maybe I dont get that bc I already know hes real and dont need that kind of experience to show me otherwise. Idk. But thank the lord you got to meet him.
I’m really struggling with profound grief and need prayers from your church. On my birthday, this past November 2nd, my beloved son (20) jumped in front of train. There were no signs of his unhappiness at university. My husband and I loved him so much and I adored the person he was becoming. I’m trying to get through this grief and I hope anyone who reads this can pray for my son and me. Kind regards, Julia

After morning worship and prayer 16 years ago, I heard. " Behold, the Bridegroom cometh, go ye out to meet him." Then I replied, yes Lord, I know you are coming but the church is not ready. This was the reply, and I thought if I could see Him, He would be shaking His finger then pointing at me...." Don't worry about the church. I want you, you Debra to be ready!" I've been preparing ever since, walking daily with my Jesus.

Whoa ..I literally heard the same thing, awoken from a dead sleep to hear it . Just a couple months back
One day 6 years ago I was walking out of work,and the sky was a beautiful pink,purple,mixed with light blue,not a cloud in the sky and I was in awe of Gods creation,and I said to him “Lord your outdoing yourself tonight” and I heard his audible voice say to me “I try”. The most humbling response from such a Magnificent God!
I find God has a sense of humor. I mean to hear "I try" in response to your thoughts!
One day I was leaning against the wall when I heard the voice leave and look. Immediately I left, looked, and beheld a deadly scorpion right above my shoulder height. God is too good. He never stops speaking, we just don't listen.
This reminded me of a prayer I had in the morning, as I was driving to work and it was raining, I was hesitant to take a detour that seemed like the quickest way to get to work at that time because I was stuck in a lot of traffic congestion. Somehow how I was forced to go back to that route I was avoiding which according to waze was still the quickest to get to work.
I had to take another detour again when I was close to work because the road was flooding. So I changed the route and guess what? It lead me straight to my old church, haven't been there since 2017/2018.
Now guess what was my prayer?
Lord with everything that is happening in the world I would really like to go back to church, please point me to a church that I must go to. Amen.
And there I was at my old church. I'm going back this Sunday. God is beautiful and he talks to us all the time 🙏 we just need to stop and listen. This video made me realize that God has been talking all this time.

The sun was about to go down. I was on my knees in the sand on the ponds bank, praying to God to give me a reason not to wade in. In the distance, I heard my kids yelling "MOM" I wiped my eyes, looked up and said "Ok" that saved my life!!

I’ve heard it! I remember when I was a teenager with friends, partying, up to no good. They were making fun of Christians. Someone said to cut it out because I was a Christian. They asked if that was true. Now they had just been talking very badly about and making fun of Christians. I couldn’t remember the last time I had gone to church or been active in my faith. I wanted to fit in so bad. I wanted to say no I’m not. I heard in my spirit, “if you deny me in front of man, I will deny you in front of my Father” I couldn’t deny Jesus. I could never deny Jesus! Luckily they mostly just said okay cool sorry one might have made one more joke quickly and that was that on to the next topic of conversation.

A decade ago I was totally exhausted with taking IELTS again and again, as I needed good results for immigration to Australia. I was desperate to give up and prayed hard for God’s guidance. Then God spoke to me at night only to my left ear: try one more time. So I did and all the good fruits came afterwards. My family has settled in the country thanks to the Lord! Amen.

God does speak. We only need to listen. Especially when or during or after a fast and also like when we are deep in prayer. I remember He spoke to me when we were trusting God for our first child and he showed me the name in the bible and I shared with my husband and he said well, let's not do any scan and see the outcome. And it was exactly as God had showed me. Then we got pregnant again and I knew it was going to be a son but then we lost him. God later told me when I just got the results and was on my way home crying in the parking lot of the doctors building that He would replace our son and I should stop crying and head back home. I felt peace and the wailing stopped and I drove home in peace. He speaks 😅

If you are driving along to work one spring morning with the windows down, you hear birds chirping, you see clouds floating along, you feel the fresh air in your face, you smell the fragrance of flowers. Suddenly you think "Mary has been sick and lives near here, I should visit her". WHICH of your 5 senses told you that?
Then you think "But if I go visit her, I will be late for work, loose my job, and won't be able to provide for my family".
The first 'thought' was from God, guess where the second thought came from?
We hear God speaking to us daily, we also hear from Satan.
We must discern whom we listen to.

I have had the voice of Heavenly Father speak to me. Not audibly but in my spirit. Not once but, multiple times.
It's called schizophrenia.

I can’t say I’ve audibly heard God, however I have heard in two different ways. 1) I hear a sentence in my mind, and the way the words are used in a sentence, let me know that I didn’t make it up, these are usually encouragement; and 2) many times I’ll have a thought come out of nowhere and I’ll either obey it or resist it and think (oh that’s just me). Later, I can always see why I was told whatever it was. Learning to get quiet in your spirit - quiet enough to hear him & stay that way, is difficult. But, for the human who can maintain their renewed mind and keep it always stayed upon God, it probably becomes easier as we age. Ask him to teach you!

This happened to me. I don’t address myself by name in my thoughts. However, once while working late at night I got glass cleaner in my eye and I heard “Audri, I will protect you from this” and I still washed my eye out for a few min but nothing like the time it said to on the bottle and was completely fine. The other time (and I’m still on the fence about this one) was “Audri, you’ll never be alone again” which I got late while working by myself soon after I met my current boyfriend. That one is harder to believe because my boyfriend has really bad depression which causes him to sometimes call out of work and how can I stay with someone who doesn’t work? But he has an amazing personality and we love each other dearly and my hope is God will deliver him because Jeremiah 29:11 and Jesus came to give life and life abundant and how abundant can life be if you can’t work or some days get out of bed?

A few weeks ago, after worship and prayer , I wanted to eat then I had this thought, just fast instead. I was like this might be my voice and I was already at the fridge, so I wanted to dismiss it but from nowhere I started thinking, I should fast and I did, at least till evening time when I started to feel weak and headache. I thought I was just hungry so I told God I couldn't continue anymore that it's taking a toll on my health , then I cried for forgiveness and went to eat. I now began to feel guilty. The only reason the fast made sense at the time was because it was the first day of the month. The next day at school, something terrible happened and my friend was injured internally. I immediately knew that was why I was asked to fast because as we prayed for her it seemed as if she was getting worse. I took it personal and cried all day, couldn't even sleep or eat. Thank God for His mercies, she is way better now, but sometimes I still feel guilty. I have never had such feelings or thoughts before so I know it was an instruction from God and I am working on obedience despite circumstance. I am twelve years old and still under my parents and in school, so it's hard but the Holy Spirit is teaching me everyday.
I heard him once audibly when I first became a Christian, since then find it hard to discern of its me or him, but I usually judge it by the scriptures. The first night he said to forgive anyone who has ever hurt me.
God told me to Pray for someone that hurt me really bad . I asked Him why should I Pray for them but I obeyed and 2 months later the person died Now I know why He wanted me to pray. so I could forgive that person ❤️🕊❤️ I think so I didn’t have that hate in My Heart ❤️🕊❤️He Is Amazing ❤️🕊❤️
Do you fast? If so, how frequently? When I was called by audible voice, the attack from enemy amplified. I have learned to fast frequently. This allows me to hear Adonai and wait until attack is over ….fast and pray with no cease

God is perfect love and perfect love has no fear. If anything is making you fearful in the sense of being dreadfully afraid, that's not God. God can speak in a powerful voice that instills fear meaning you are in awe of him, but not terrified of him.

Have heard God's voice both audibly and in my spirit. The first time which is very important was, I was a sleep and I was told Jesus is coming soon. Then days pass and one day while a sleep I heard a voice waking me up that King of Kings is coming. I woke up shocked then I asked God to show me if this words are meant only for me and one night the Lord wrote in the sky that WARN THEM AM COMING SOON. the Lord answered my prayers . And to the one reading this please Jesus is coming soon,repent and turn away from sin, accept
This is true and confirmation. Back in the 80's and 90's The Lord gave me dreams and visions. One was a night vision while dreaming.. well dream and I knew the exact place I was in my dream at night and was out of my car looked up at the night sky and saw in writing "The time is near ".
He is being patient so that none perish... giving people time to repent. My spirit bares witness with his that his coming is eminent....I feel a great battle in the spirit realm... the enemy knows him time is VERY short. Hold on.

Another thing that I want to add about hearing God’s words is that by denying all our own thoughts , especially the negative ones and little seeds of doubts. As I’ve experienced when I was having a panic attack, I though nothing could save me because I was waring with myself. Thinking I was having this attack because I was weak and not strong and such and such. It also came to my mind about taking a knife and...who knows what might have happened until I decided to calm myself and suddenly , a realization to me that I don’t have to believe in myself. That I don’t have to listen to my own self pity words. That it was the enemy that was deceiving me and putting lies in my head. Finally, I came to hear these words in my mind “You don’t have to believe in yourself. God is the only Truth and He never lies”. By then, my panic attack seized and I was able to take hold of myself.
I am still on the journey of wholeheartedly knowing and trusting and loving God. I said “journey” because I still experience little episodes of uncertainties, but what’s come to be different is that I know my life and all that I had or thought so is in God’s hands. On the otherhand, I said “wholeheartedly” because knowing God is not a one night or 1 year or even 10 years of timeline but a lifetime. One must dedicate every single day to read, listen, ponder, worship, seek and observe God’s words and presence. He is all around us and within us so it’s not that hard. God provides the desire and power to accomplish His will.
I pray and hope that everyone gets to experience the fullness of the presence and boundless depth of God’s character.
When you pray, close the door of your room, kneel down and talk to God, to Jesus and the Holy Spirit...wrestle with God like Jacob.....whatever you pray be it of truth and spirit.

Hi everyone, sometime ago I was reading simultaneously about the Israelites in the dessert and how they were complaining to Moses and about the hypocrisy of the pharisees. Well, sometime later I was behaving badly and I heard God say to me," you're complaining like an israelite and behaving like a pharisee." Yes, I knew what He meant and was truly disciplined. I do hear God's voice and he even spoke to me through a magazine telling me the university my son was going to. God is good and patient with me because I am quite trying.

I suffered from a lot of childhood trauma which led to me developing a drug addiction, I was not happy with the life I was living, constantly depressed with high levels of anxiety….I wasn’t much of a big believer, even though I come from a Christian family…I used to pray to God to help me combat my addiction (even though my prayer never came from the heart), I never believed God would answer my prayers, I felt so unworthy of his love and salvation….until one day, unexpectedly, God spoke to me, he told me to accept the him into my heart and allow him to guide me through life, it was such a scary but wonderful experience, after I accepted him he whispered these three words to my ear “you are saved” it felt as if the heavy weight I was constantly carrying over was lifted and I could start the living the life I was meant to live. Since then my life completely transformed, my mindset shifted, my environment changed and I have not used any drugs since. God is real, through God we can obtain true salvation, let’s accept him into our lives and he will transform us.

It was recently pointed out to me that "Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God". Why doesn't is say "faith comes by hearing God's word?" if that verse is just stating that reading the Bible causes faith to grow (which of course it does!). I believe what's implied is that faith comes as we hear God's voice and our capacity to hear and discern God's voice in our thoughts comes by spending time in His word. When you know His voice in scripture, you will recognize it more and more readily in your daily life with him. That is the model Jesus left us "I only say what I hear my Father saying" - He lived in constant fellowship with His Father listening to His voice and walking in yielded obedience and love before Him. Hearing God's voice is one of the things I treasure most in life. It's for every believer! Follow the steps Pastor Robert Morris laid out for the racetrack owner and see what fruit it produces in your own life!

The time I hear from God when I was about to give him my walk with him, He called my name and said I love you I will help you and said no many things that night my life was never the same after that God is real.
When you hear God's voice, you know instantly that it is God because a) it agrees with what is written in His Word--the Holy Bible; b)it answers what you have prayed to God about; c) God repeats it to let you know it is important; d) YOU FEEL A PEACE WRAPPING YOUR WHOLE BEING THAT PASSES ALL UNDERSTANDING, so you know immediately that it is God speaking to you. I know, it happened to me more than once, it is unmistakable.

Well not always. There are times when God’s people are saved from eminent danger. That neither agrees nor disagrees with scripture. And sometimes God has a message for his people and they haven’t been praying about it. Sometimes, like in the situation of danger, it’s urgent and you’d better listen the first time bc there won’t be a second warning; you’ll be dead. And sometimes the warning creates such a feeling of discomfort that you heed the warning immediately. So while I agree with your definition, there are many many many situations that don’t fit this formula and it is still God speaking.
Once God called me audible voice saying my name twice. Since then , every single day God speaks to me… it’s not always the easiest thing but it is such a blessing. Saved by His grace. Blessings In Yeshua HaMashiach. Shalom

Does your heart beat when you hear this voice. It happened to me twice, a voice say I will die and I find myself in darkness almost out of breath,then I pray and I find myself in light. Then after this, the third day, I wasnt scared but my heart still beats, and this time with tears,and I said,God tell me,.Then a voice asked me to pray .

I too have heard audibly the Voice of God...I was at a cross road in my life and I was still young so that was a life-long decision I was asking Him about. I was fasting and praying and one very early morning, while sleeping, I heard my name being called in my room which woke me up physically. The Voice was in my room, not in my dream. I woke up and sat up on my bed and He said: "What have you done with your life?" I knew exactly what I needed to do and although a very final decision (I quit a very prestigious career and moved out of the country to pursue my life- long dream). Yez interesting same when God spoke to me "Do not be afraid", I instantly knew what to do. I was no even aware of the fear or the connection in my life, until God spoke it.

I've been doing this somehow. I feel like God was speaking to me and I followed what he said but it's weird because I didn't hear him. Like I did exactly what he said to do. Maybe God was speaking to me and I subconsciously followed what he said. Then this video came up and now I'm super encouraged!!! Like what I was doing is the thing I need to be doing. God protects us and leads us into the right way even when we don't know!! Hes so amazing
You followed the 'unction' of the Holy Spirit. Words are just one way God talks. He talks via 'knowing', actual words, clues/symbols, dreams, and circumstances, and other ways. You just know when it's God vs other. Sometimes it's harassment from the enemy getting you superstitious, but that's a learning experience too.

He does speak in a still, firm and small voice too it's just that 9 out of 10 we won't hear because we are not listening and also many of us leaning on our imagination of how he'll talk to us or instructing him how we want to hear his voice and what we want to hear and if we keep doing so we won't ever hear it.

I heard the voice of God one time in my ear. My sister's fiance had just drowned saving his son (my nephew) in the Mississippi River we were all devastated .. and I was on my bed and I was thinking to myself where am I going to go when I die ? What's going to happen? Where did He go and all of a sudden I heard an audible voice and I know it was the Lord telling me to REPENT. My Life has never been the same. Praise God!

Putting God in a box? Legalism? I believe He speaks however He decides, His sheep, need and can discern what is being said and needed, at that moment. Not just through scripture. Scripture is manna from God, no doubt, but not His only way of speaking to us.

John 16:13 says The Comforter will "speak." God speaks to guide you in all things, we are not left as orphans on earth, that was the whole point of Jesus having to leave, so that the comforter could come. Here is the scripture:

If you are in doubt it doesn't hurt to ask God to speak to you in a voice. Jesus couldn't do any miracles in Jerusalem because of unbelief. Unbelief will have you losing out on the miracles and gifts God has freely given. If it is hard to believe ask like a man asked Jesus "I believe but Lord help my unbelief." I pray you get to see how wonderful it is and how much more intimate the relationship becomes when you do not let fear or unbelief stop what God has given for all His children. Fear of the supernatural and unbelief is a lie of the enemy to keep the people of God leaning on our own understanding.

Once I got really sad about a situation where I was hoping for something and was told that it wasn't going to happen. Instead of pushing for what I wanted, I prayed. I told God, I know what I want is simple and not important but can You please help me? I heard in my head, "I got you." The very next morning, I was approached by someone telling me they were going to take me to do the thing I had prayed about. I was so shocked but grateful that God helps us even with the little things.
I have 55+ years of journals in spiral and odds and ends of notebooks... full of prayers, answered prayers, dreams and voice of God responses to my soulful cries for help, wisdom, understanding, forgiveness and ability to forgive, compassion etc. How delightful to read so many stories here revealing the commonality of such an intimate relationship with the Lover of Our Souls. Back in the beginning, striving to fit in like a good little church lady, I was often looked at as an oddity when I would share my encounters. The lack of affirmation caused me to go church-hopping, looking for "my people." I have met many lovely believers in various places, convincing me that following the call of the Holy Spirit has no denominational label, but marks people like they have a big, red "I'M HIS" stamp on their foreheads. When I go out socially, I'm often approached by people who proceed to tell me their deepest woe, secrets or dearest wants. I ask permission to pray for them as long as I live, and have never been refused. I am often wakened in the night and sometimes, a name or face from my list appears. This following Jesus by walking in the spirit has been the single most exciting element in my 83 years of life.
God is life and when He speaks there will be something life giving that happens. God does not change and He still speaks to us , I know through experience because of my relationship with Him .
When he speaks, you will know it. His voice is unmistakable.

Sometimes when I'm praying to God, He delightfully interrupts me in a still but strong voice. A few examples I've got to glorify God is when I was seriously stressed and anxious and as I was praying, God delightfully interrupted me and said nearly all at once, "MESSAGE I am burning anxiety" (spoiler alert HE DID!!). Another way is when I wasn't sure about if this next step in my life was truly from The Lord or merely my deceitful heart. Anyway, as I was praying about it saying "Am I being deceived? I am- (then God delightfully interrupted and said) "Being Crystal Clear." In such a still voice! God told me He is being Crystal Clear with me!!
That still small clear reasoning voice Thank You GOD Amen 🙏.
God will make himself very clear.. trust me, when he wants someone to know something... and to know that it is him who is speaking, he have the ability to get it done, there be no need for guessing games 🙄

I love it when He talks to me, so often He speaks through my heart, and links it to a verse or sentence. His Word is alive cause He is! He is always so kind, gentle and encouraging.
Maturity in God is quite different from maturity in this world. God hasn't ever stopped speaking... we just become too "mature" to listen any longer. Read Chapter 11!

When I was younger and working in ministry. I was often asked how did I know it was God directing me. The answer was simple… it is all about the results. What I mean is if I heard Him say go see this person and I went and they accepted Jesus in a unique way well it was the Lord I was listening to. If it just ended up a nice day we’ll then it was my vain imagination. So we look for the results and then we can test if it was God or not.

But the ones who said have a nice day may have accepted Him later. You don't know if you planted a seed. Others can water it. You can't always go by the immediate reaction... God has a purpose for everything. He can even use the bad for good! Even our bad decisions... And the bad that others do to us. I've learned this in my own life.

I agree with what you said about planting seeds…I can’t even go to the store without sharing a simple testimony, that is planting seeds. But when I think I hear God directing me then I look at the results. This is one way to start recognizing that still quite voice of God. Blessings to you..

I was praying for a psalm to worship the Lord and asked if He would guide me to turn to one. I had a very still small impression say “What do you want daughter? I replied one with your glory and some nature and I turned straight away to one with both psalm 84 I believe, praise God.
I have heard God's voice 3-4 times in my life time, and to let everyone know His words, His voice is real, it;s deep and so soft like a whisper in your ear. Here's the amazing part of it all, HE will speak to you in Tongues, and you'll understand every single word that is spoken to you, and without you knowing, you will speak to God in Tongues to reply back to Him. so your conversation with God will be in Tongues....at 2 am in New Mexico getting coffee driving all night, i heard a voice ( no one at all outside or around me, In tongues i heard and understood what was said...Have Faith in Me and you SHALL receive....i been listening to audible tapes while driving, the New Testament, over and over again, and this one night happened to me, it was a breath taking moment for me, I do TRUST IN HIM I believe in HIM, and I will always Praise HIM for what HE has done for me, for so many years.... I needed this sermon back 10 months ago...when it came out...I made a wrong decision at that time because I couldn't distinguish God's voice/direction. And it kept getting worse the longer I stayed in the situation.

I believe in the power of prayer. I always ask GOD the HOLY SPIRIT to speak to me and to give me a dream of prophecy. GOD has never failed me. I close my eyes and take out all thoughts,and listen. The HOLY SPIRIT speaks to me in a small still voice,I know HIS VOICE. I hear HIM in my minds eye it's so beautiful. I've LOVED GOD ever since I was 6 years old,HE has never failed me. He has not only spoken to me,but HAS HEALED me too. I received the gift of the HOLY SPIRIT when I was pregnant with my youngest son in 1978. OH HOW a BLESSING most of the dreams He's given me come true alot on the same morning. There is no other GOD only GOD the abba father,GOD the SON JESUS CHRIST,and GOD the HOLY SPIRIT. I pray that whosoever believe in GOD the abba father also believe in the SON JESUS CHRIST and He will leave you a COMFORTER.

Last night I felt something surrounding me and I just felt happy. I didn’t take anything and all I did was look and feel happy. I knew it was God because during this time, I got my girlfriend back. Me and my girlfriend broke up a few months back and I never forgot about her. I prayed to God every night for us to come back together and we did that night. I’ve felt like I’ve been being watched a few nights in a role and when I felt God around me, I knew it was satan trying to take me down a path of sin and I looked over, saw my bible, and didn’t hide under the covers but faced it down. God was with me and I never felt like I’ve been being watched again because of God. Another time when my aunt died, I asked God to send a sign that she was in heaven and almost immediately, I saw a cloud shaped like an angel in the sky. God is with us and will always be, even when you are in the deepest depression. God never leaves you, you leave God. Don’t let sin take you like it almost took me. Let God into your life
I am so glad that I clicked and listened. As well as read the encouraging comments. I came from a family of dreamers. I have always had dreams. It wasn’t til I was older that I would somewhat understand them. With all of the internet, World Wide Web. I would Google the dreams.
But over 20 years ago I was raising my daughter alone in a new city. Everything fell on me. I basically worked to pay expenses. No extras, frills or thrills.
One day I came in after work and retrieving my daughter from day care to find that the lights were turned off. It was maybe Monday or Tuesday. I didn’t expect a paycheck til that Friday. I don’t remember if I got upset or anything. All that I remember is lighting the emergency candles. My daughter and I sat on the floor. I read to her and she played with her toys. Knowing me, I had to have fed her. I don’t remember that part. But what I do remember is while sitting there. I thought, Lord, what am I gonna do. I heard a soft voice in my right ear as someone else mentioned. He simply said, TRUST ME. I began to rejoice, pray, praise and cry! Whenever things come up on a day to day. I always remember what the Lord said. Every time things get worked out! I lack nothing! And that child God gave me. It was hard at times raising her being the minority surrounded by a majority of negative family and negative atmosphere. I just leaned on God and his Word. I always say that when I saw how the area was. I referred back to my Mother ALWAYS talking to me and giving me guidance. That child has been such a blessing. Always looking out for my needs. 🙌🏻 God has been so good! When I wasn’t working, we always had everything that we needed. If someone would ask how? I couldn’t tell them anything except THAT GOD PROVIDES.
God doesn’t speak to me often. That first time was it for the longest time. Maybe a couple years or so ago. I encountered someone. I don’t have al lot of friends and associates. Only family that I had to distance myself from. Love ‘em from afar. So this person that I encountered was someone I met as a teen. I was so happy to have someone to talk too about life and spiritual things. Thinking they were on the same page. God began to speak too me twice concerning him. Idk if I was supposed to tell him or not. But I did. I said The Spirit told me that you are in a back sliden state. He looked perplexed. I didn’t know what to do with it either. We continued talking. But I noticed that he started backing off. The only reason that I continued talking to him was because once again, God told me to help him. When God spoke, it wasn’t a long Soliloquy or anything. It was a few word sentence. I simply knew that it was him. I didn’t tell him that God said help him right away. But I did. Needless to say, we spoke. But it became sporadic. I continue to pray for his deliverance. I can tell that he is an overall good person. He has personal demons. He is not around the right people. Plus he has to want to change.
I think you can hear from God at any time. It depends on your relationship with God. You definitely need a lot of direction from the Lord even at 40 and beyond.

I was driving to work complaining bout bad problems in my life and I heard " be still" . it wasn't audible, I can't explain, but I "heard " it.
I am thankful that I was led to this channel.
God speaks to me through thoughts. I know it's not my thought, because it surprises me. He healed me of health problems when doctors told me to learn to live with it, because there was no cure, and so many other things.
I only found out it was from God, when i obeyed it and the healing took place. I learn't to obey it even when it didn't make sense to me. It's priceless when the penny drops and i realise, not only am i healed, but it was God Almighty that did it for me.
I could write a book about all the things the Lord did for me from the day i invited him into my heart as my Lord and Saviour.
Glory to God forever. Amen.

I used to always think God is mad at me because of some of my disobedience towards him. Then one night I heard the voice of God called my name three times. He called my name in the most gentle way, like a father calling his son for something great. Then he said "u see I'm not mad at". He has been so merciful to me that I love him more and more everyday. I literally can't vision myself without God.

When I was 13 yrs old I heard audibly the sound of the trumpet and God’s voice saying “I come to get my people“. I could see only His arms wide opened in the skies and people transforming into angels as they ascended. I was not one of them and I understood this was a warning for me to fix my walk with God or I’ll be left behind.
I’ve heard 4 trumpets now
As I was studying scripture yesterday I received that we are now being judged and HE is retrieving HIS now one by one. In JESUS CHRIST Holy Name! 🙏🏻
I had a similar dream when I was maybe around 6. I was standing on the ground, lava pits in a cracked desert, and Jesus appeared in the clouds, shining. Souls were ascending into heaven while I watched.
I hear from God every morning when he gives me his breath to wake up!! PRAISE GOD TO THE HIGHEST!!

I heard God’s voice on July 1, 2021 at about 5:00 am while I was asleep in bed. I awoke and then instantaneously this voice traveled from my feet to my head while I was laying down. I will not tell you what he said because it’s a complicated story and somewhat frightening. His voice was commanding. I immediately uprighted myself on my bed and started thinking. I was looking for words to describe his tone and my thoughts and response to what he said. I wasn’t scared of this voice though. I immediately looked up the definition of fear on my iPhone to try to describe this voice. I came across the word reverential fear. That’s what it was - reverential fear. Needless to say, I obeyed his command. 🙏🏻❤️
You always have to put our loving God first he has to be the most important one in our lives and everything else will work itself out Amen
