    Hello, could you do a video on how you were able to secure your articling position and how it is like? Is it easy for International students/Lawyers ? Are there seasons for application? Do they give International applications the shots in big Law firms? Your videos have been really helpful, thank you so much 💕

    I just got done with my LL.B but haven't attended Law school yet. I mean I've not gone through the Nigerian bar. My question is, can I apply for my LL.M in Canada without prior working experience? Given that I've not attended the compulsory law school that allows a law graduate to practice law in Nigeria

    • @MoyosoreSomide
      @MoyosoreSomide  Před 3 lety

      Unfortunately, I can't answer this. NCA would be in the best position to tell you if the LPC/LLM you are currently doing will help in reducing your NCA assessment because they will have access to your transcripts and resume and this will help them access the number of exams you should take. I suggest reaching out to NCA.

    • @MoyosoreSomide
      @MoyosoreSomide  Před 3 lety

      it's pretty much writing the NCA exams, articling, and writing the bar exams (depending on the Province you decide to become licensed in). The amount of courses you also get assessed with by the NCA will depend on the courses you are taking right now in law school. It doesn't matter if your classes are online, so far you graduate with a law degree or get called to the Californian bar. I would recommend reading my e-book, NCA STARTER PACK, the link is in my bio as this will also give further guidance.

    I’m a penultimate year student of law from India. I’m planning to apply for GPLLM from UofT, LLM CL from UBC and York University. How should I secure an articling position after completion of my LLM degree?
    How should I prepare myself for a job after completion? I’m not allowed to apply for Vacation schemes because of Visa issues
