Simple fact is that it is the Hindu which has vanished from afganistan and its vanishing from pakistan and bangladesh. While muslim population has been steadily increasing in india. How do you explain this ?

But this is because the fertility rate of Muslim Couples is the highest on the planet. Put it down to that delicious and nutritious Halal non-vegetarian diet. Now add to that great news is the fact that and more People accept and convert to Islam than any other faith today. It may Amaze you to know that 61% of new converts to Islam are..........wait for it......WOMEN ! More fertility ! More Muslim Births. Why is it considered blasphemous to even start a conversation around the topic that when country was traumatically partitioned in the name of Islam, when almost all non Muslims situated in what is now pak had to flee their homes and were forced to move across the new borders forever (and many died in the process), then why were the muslims stopped from doing the same ie moving enmasse to their new muslim homeland. It was but a natural and logical concluding step. If it had happened, then root cause of many problems which plague India today wouldn't have been there in the first place. That's why gandhi is called father of the nation cuz he screwed India over, royally. #gandhi chala gya, musalman chor gya.

a) India wasn't partitioned in the name of islam (in that case, lemme know on what basis, do you think, partition happened)
b) we should all follow sarv dharma sambhava idealogy. (noble idea indeed, in fact inherent in Hinduism and hence coined and propagated by the said religion. You say it's blasphemous to discuss this idealogy nowadays, you are only partly right here. It is indeed blasphemous to discuss this but only for those belonging to the abrahamic faiths and has been blasphemous from time immemorial. One can never be true to intellectualism by failing to dispassionately critique a religious text and calling out its ills, as they are. You cannot use liberalism of some refined individuals and pass it off as the thinking of an entire community. For many religionists, day-to-day actions and practices are governed by the ideology and diktats of their religious texts. The time has come to review divine books of all religions objectively, just as any other book review, by subjecting them to philosophic scrutiny and clearly identifying parts that are divisive and hateful towards other communities. Reconciliation only happens after truth is accepted!

@@SunilSharma-cw4qp Nehru appointed the first Islamist education minister Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. It was a big mistake. Nehru's big blunder was not to impose Uniform Civil Code and not banning madrasas, Waqf Board and All India Muslim Personal Law Board. He should have forced every Muslim child to be educated in real schools along with children of every faith. Nehru was guilty of social apartheid and we are paying the price. Now large percentage of Indians are semi literate and backward. Imagine if Muslims had received the same education as Hindus, Sikhs, Christians etc. India would have been lot richer and a more advanced economy.
Is it not a fact that muslims did not want to live with other religion and thus why they wanted Pakistan then why should they stay here now ? They have already been given their homeland namely Pakistan, they should all go there.
Maybe, the reason they stayed back is to break India further into smaller pieces. This way, they could become a majority in some of those pieces over time. Jinnah apparently thought this way according, to some historians.

It is completely utopian imagination (far far away from the ground reality) of Burkha and Saeed Naqvi. Because *Majority Hindus* are not Exclusivist Totalitarian Supremacist like *Majority Muslims* of like Pakistan and Bangladesh which almost obliterated Hindu-minority in their respective countries. It's ironic that peoples of Bangladesh and Pakistan belonged to the same Ganga-Yamuna Tahaseeb as propagated by Burkha ji and Saeed Naqvi ji few decades back! Peoples who voted for Muslim league in 1946 election, many of them stayed in India out of majority hindus's generosity unlike majority Muslims of Pakistan and Bangladesh. On contrary, in India, percentage of growth of Muslim population has always been higher than the same of majority hindus. In India caste also exists in Muslims in the form of Sharif/Ashraf at the top, followed by the Atraf (low-born), and with the Arzal or Ajlaf at the bottom. But No one talks about those facts of the ground.
But i do agree that any government in India should include sane and secular minded Hindus and Muslims and parsis and jains and Sikhs and Buddhists and Christians.
But again the following notions have to be agreed upon by them - that no woman should be beaten up by her man on *whatever context* , keeping four wives by a Muslim man is denial of woman's right , women-sex-slavery isn't justified at all on whatever context irrespective of time frame, Hindus and Muslims should get rid of caste based discrimination etc.
Also when you mention polygamy do look into Hindu code which was introduced by Nehru in 1958 to abolish polygamy in Hinduism and also give rights to females in divorce and right to inheritance . Which actually led to modernization of Hindu religion .

Let’s not go into that coz India is known as rape capital and what is the majority religion coz more then religion it’s how as a society we treat ladies . @@penacle7 There is absolutely no issue in appreciating Pandit Nehru's role in Hindu society reform. I'm all for reform in Hindu society today and in future to tune Hinduism with modern values. Any atrocity against women should be condemned unequivocally irrespective of religions across breadth and length of this nation. Law of the nation should address that. But crimes against law happen in all the countries including India. But if women are ill-treated in disguise of civil laws of any particular religious community, ill-treatment of women happens with impunity. That's the crux of the problem. Woman's witness can't be allowed to be taken as half of that of man.
