For someone like myself whos never been to Ballyhoura or Coolaney, which out of the two would you prefer?

Tough question, I'd put them on par with each other, Coolaney has the better views, Ballyhoura has the distance and better facilities.The Blue loop is better in Ballyhoura, The red better in Coolaney and the blacks are about the same.

Sorry, another question! I'm pretty close to pulling the trigger on a YT decoy core 3, i believe thats what you're riding? Do you rate them? Im also looking at a santa cruz bullit thats discounted but still 700 more than the decoy. Tough decision!

The Decoy is a great bike but take a good look at the Geometry it's quite dated now and a large Decoy would be a new bikes medium when it comes to the reach numbers

Thank you. Yes, I was aware of the geometry on the decoy alright and was planning to size up. It has a bigger battery now too, 720Wh, so plenty of range.

RE: Pinch flat, were you running a tube from a previous rim dink?
I pranged a Fortus rim this year in Cools, v. disappointing 😢🫣

No the flat was a pinch hole in the actual tubeless tyre it was that bad of a rock edge on the red loop!
