Damn, I grew up with a 4 row head on a Gleaner…. It’s insane the capacity that those machines have, and trying to keep up with them so they can continue to move in the field is just incredible
Still the best channel on CZcams ,, as far as agriculture anyway , I appreciate you BTP, always a great job, well narrarated, excellent camera work & a wealth of information ❤️ thank you ✌️, Much appreciated ❤️
Great video as always!! I can’t help but hear my Grandpas giggle if he’d have lived to see 16 row corn heads. He never ran anymore than a 2 row 615.
It’s amazing how harvesting capabilities have changed over the years. A 615 was a big deal in its day compared to a one tow picker or hand picking which was still common 40 years before it’s introduction.
@@bigtractorpower we used a one row Woods Bros picker with 40 bushel flat wagons hand shoveled into the corn crib in 1988, slow but sure and steady,
Thanks for the ride. What a monster...
OMG 16 row amazing combine
thats some combine .thanks for posting, bigger then the ones i used to drive.
Great video Jason, thanks
Claas lexion is awesome, this harvester is exceptional 👏👏
@@chadkubashek4622 they don’t stack up at all as far as productivity....the lexion has it hands down in corn....as far as cab comfort and all the perks...Deere has it...but last time I checked productivity was more important....we run a lexion 760 and a Deere s780....lexion with a 16 row Deere head and the Deere with a 12 row Deere head.
Gotta love sum cab corn👍👍👍👍
Great vídeo.
Corn eating machines!! Would like to see their grain handling system. It's gotta be pretty massive to keep up with all that corn. GO BTP💪
It’s a nice set up. I filmed their GMC General unloading at their bins a few years ago.
@@bigtractorpower I remember a GMC General. Any idea exactly how far back Jason?
SUPER!!!♥
Quite the machine & chaser equipment. Nice to see the Cat colours working the harvest. Take care & stay safe. Cheers from BC
The lexion is a very cool combine😉👍 a yellow combine in a yellow corn field looks good👍😁
Nice video, keep up the great work👍👍
Awesome video
Man I miss Western Kentucky! Grew up on a 65 acre farm! Earliest memory’s are riding with the farmers that leased the crops!
Very cool. WKY is a great farming area. What part of the area did you grow up in?
I see, it is perfect for my european fields
Thanks
Might have to start expanding into "Big Lumber Power" now as the innovations there are even more incredible.
What a beast
Great.
Those Combines can really move a lot of grain in a short amount of time
at 0:21...........I love those showing the 16 rows coming to the end !
Good video brother
I don't know what is more impressive the size of the machine or the speed it can cover ground.
ISOM FARMS! A LONG WAY FROM THE CASE COMBINES DAYS! Kenny, Keith,Shug and the boys GETTIN IT DONE! Cherry farm? Hope y’all need MORE BIN ROOM!
Parabéns 👏👏👏👍👍👍🚜🚜
Man it would take some man power to keep corn away from these machines
Very nice! ......, i’m curious, why no more videos showing the Garnett Farms?!?!
Any John Deere Combine action for this season? Have you gotten with that one farm down in Hopkinsville yet
Wow!!!
What's the first thing you see in the video? A healthy load of cab corn 🤣 To me it means that harvest is doing well 👍
The colors may not be the same, but if you really run some of the best equipment now a days the rims are red and the loading equipment has a yellow paintjob.
I was going to say the same thing (cab corn) then thought I best read the comments 1st. 😂
Классная техника клаас 760
What a nice machine, nice video as always!!
This year is all about wider headers. But what I see is larger headers with slower MPH and heavy stubble concentration on 8 rows.
Nice nice nice
@@bigtractorpower
I'm a fun fan of your videos, I find it enjoyable since I really enjoy American agriculture (USA), but will do better if you also opt for a drone. thanks for you good job .
What’s that noise in the cab?
Wow they must farm a lot of acres to make it worth having 2 combines so large!
And to think theyre not even the daddy Claas combine.
I am guessing an average day for them is 150 acres per day??? Enjoyed the video, awesome job.
What did they run before and why did they switch to Claas, if you know or can say.
When I first visited this farn they had a 2388 and went to a 595R then axed a 575R as a second machine. I am not sure what their most recent Deere was. I believe they had a 7700 years ago.
Absolutely amazing... seems they are known to thresh massive amounts of corn... Anyone seen an 8900 in the Americas??? Class 10 with the 790hp MAN, only see it in EU and on the EU web site???
@@Jaxon-iu6vb afaik theres some perceived difficulty with possible maintenance on the man engines.
early lexions had caterpillar powertrains which us market knows well but the engines claas would wanna fit just dont have the tech support in the americas so the 8900 isnt sold. thats my guess anyway
Me encanta sus videos pues más número uno.solo que no sé el inglés 🤔 porque no traducirlos al español amigo😏
5,000 bushels an hour amazing !!
@@bigtractorpower can you imagine our grandparents reaction if they seen what farming is like today ?
@@clinthochrein888 John Deere has one that shells over 7,000 bushels to the hour, by itself
I can see, that he also used the auxilliry graintank on the first Claas in the vid.... 😜😜🌽🌽
There should be a cab corn challenge. Can some one get through a while harvest with out a spill. I would guess no.
Lots of green on those stalks. I didn’t catch what the moisture was running….
I think it was 15%. The green leaves are due to fungicide application in July. The application keeps the stalk and leaves green well after the grain is ready.
What do they use the corn for?
@@bigtractorpower ok thanks for the information and great job on your channel
claas lesiom 💪💪💪💪💪😩😇
No auto steer??
Man that thing needs a super cleaning........
After the harvest the combines are power washed. After a day of harvesting they take a leaf blower and clean off the build up of leaves and dust.
liked your videos a lot better when you didn't spend so much time in the cab
Cab corn
Nice machine, would do without the troublesome tracks if at all possible
The tracks are what make a Lexion great. They allow the machine to ride so much better in dry and wet conditions. When it’s really wet it hardly sinks.
@@bigtractorpower while it is very true they have far less compaction and are more capable on wet soil; being a machinery and truck mechanic and now a farmer I’ve had enough experience with rubber tracked and steel tracked machinery to know I’m glad I can do without them.

Won’t take long to harvest my 176 acres lol
@@bigtractorpower cousin has a case ih 7250 I had to buy a 8 row 38 inch corn head. We had severe drought here Pluim four hail storms. Beans avg was 15 bushel per acre corn 82 bushel per acre had aflatoxin poison in it I got hurt on that deal.

Hi felicidades por sus videos..yo soy operador de trilladoras con más 10 años de experiencia vivo en los angeles ca. Si algún ranchero nesesita de mis servicios estoy disponible
✌️🇧🇷✌️
The first thing we see is cab corn.
And? Common sight where we actually raise stuff, if this was the parrie states yea grain on the cab would be something to be ashamed about
its a pity that Claas decided to change to their corporate green and white livery for our North American Lexion models a few years ago....I love the CAT Yellow and Black Lexions
They got tired of being confused with being part of Caterpillar and AGCO, hence the color change, plus I like the Claas colors better
Why is that Claas equipment always in CAT colors over there ?
Because they where branded as cat lexions when they first came to America helped with the brand recognition and they ran cat engines back in the day then cat sold out of the Ag industry and claas kept the colors until they released the 8000 series from now on they will all be normal claas colors

Nice combine but I still prefer the smell of yellow and green
Does nothing for me!!! Junk!!!
My blood runs red but I find these harvesting videos fascinating no matter what color the Combine is. Great video.
Got to like the best . Put them reds and greens in the background trying to keep up
