Dear Fr. Mark, I think of this so often!! 1. When I was a little girl, weather permitting, we would go to the beach every day in the summer after first Mass on Sunday. My dad had a little Coleman stove. We would have a breakfast of eggs, bacon, toast and sometimes oatmeal. Being of Italian heritage lunch would be pasta, meatballs, sausage, Italian bread. My parents would boil a large pot of water on that little stove to cook the pasta!! Supper would be hot dogs, hamburgers, potato salad. Enough food to feed a crowd even though we were a family of four! 2. Every major holiday. Each holiday had it's own special food and again there was always an abundance! 3. My dad was a baker by trade. I loved the treats he would bring home to us. He would make large molasses cookies and decorate them with funny faces for my sister and me. There are times when I think of these days and I KNOW we will re-live them in our Heavenly Home!! God bless you! 🙏❤🤗
Feasts as a kid were awesome! So much better than hosting them as an adult. There were no worries about menu, quantities, serving dishes, etc. Just show up. That's what I'm hoping for in heaven!

Can’t wait to see what the Lord is cooking up for us, (hope my dad has a hand in it and puts some chicken tetrazzini on the table too 😊 ❤️. The best buffet I’ve had was at the M resort and casino Vegas , the desert section was enormous. It was voted the best buffet in Las Vegas.it’s gotten really expensive

We live, not too far from Franciscan University! Though we don't have any wild moose around us in Bloomingdale, Ohio, I have two "Moose Crossing" signs up our property in Bloomingdale - just in case! :)

All about Welcome ? Many Christians who love and serve the Lord Jesus are denied communion and prevented from receiving from the Lord’s table when invited or allowed to Join with Catholics. You can watch us receive. But you are not permitted to join us. The true Lord’s table welcomes all Christians who are right with the Lord. The one that doesn’t is considered to be “ours”, universal, Catholic, exclusive. Unfortunately, not welcoming. Jesus would welcome us but Catholic priests do not. How very sad and frankly hypocritical. Nor does it appear to bother Catholics to receive in front of those who are publicly excluded. Truly saying one thing and doing another. Should we assume the wedding feast of the Lamb will only be open to Catholics Fr, Mark ? Or that Catholics will be sat at their own Catholic table served by their priests?
