I love these vans they are just awesome and so chinz. Not only does she look awesome but inside is out of this world! These custom vans were and are sold through Chevrolet dealers in the states. She was only imported in 2008 and has come from Japan so is rust free. She is in great condition throughout and drives like a dream. Swivel captain’s chairs, mood lighting and the rear seat that turns into a bed at the press of a switch. She is fitted with Chevrolet's 4.3 litre 165bhp Vortec engine that returns over 20mpg. Nice review. I currently own (& live in) a 96 Safari Explorer conversion much like this one. One purpose I've found for the hatchback door is that its easy to clip a tarp around it. And I've built a folding stove platform on one of the back doors. That, and a set of cupboards behind the seat along w/a pump sprayer makes a weatherproof outdoor kitchen

I drive a 96 hi top Tiara anniversary. Resprayed it flat white pearl. Original colour was silver.

They are not bad, fuel consumption is the enemy but not that bad at around 24mpg. Servicing is relatively cheap as are parts which are easily available. Oil filter is around £5 brake discs around £15. They are typical American vehicles designed to sit on motorways for half a million miles. Most importantly they are just cool.
