Yea, the lyrics are about wanting revenge on a girl who stole her man. I can see if you take it metaphorically it could be about the vma's but it's not. Joe Jonas was "stolen" from her by Camilla Belle. In response to the song being written about her, Camilla sided with Katy Perry when Taylor and her had a their falling out. When Total Drama World Tour came out in 2010, everyone was saying this was all about that. To be fair, this came out the same year as World Tour. And a girl took another girl's boyfriend (well, really, he cheated on her) and the cheated girl spent the next three episodes crying, trying to get the girl who took him pushed off the plane, and flirting with other guys. When the girl was finally eliminated, she made it pretty clear she blamed the girl by expecting her ex-boyfriend to apologize to her when it was actually more him - the boyfriend-stealer would have never made a move on him if he hadn't kissed her first. The way this song is written sounds like her. Except that the girl who got wronged is the one who's more likely to push people down to get where she wants to be. Yeah, did I mention the boyfriend-stealer is actually nicer than the first girl?
