In spider verse spider man 2099 leads the spider people to protect the spider verse from collapsing. When I saw the movie and heard the spider man 2099 theme, I knew I had to make my own spiderman 2099 rap song.
Spider-Man 2099 is a fictional superhero character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character was created by Peter David and Rick Leonardi in 1992 for the Marvel 2099 comic book line, and is a futuristic re-imagining of the original Spider-Man created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko. His true identity is Miguel O'Hara, a brilliant Irish-Mexican geneticist living in Nueva York (a renamed New York City) in the year 2099 who attempts to re-create the abilities of the original Spider-Man in other people and later suffers a related accident that causes half of his DNA to be rewritten with a spider's genetic code.
The character has appeared in numerous media adaptations, while making his cinematic debut in the animated film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018), where he was voiced by Oscar Isaac in the film's post-credits scene. The character also appears in the film's sequel, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse (2023), with Isaac reprising the role.

According to my research of the multi-verse, Cam making two absolutely BADASS songs after the release of across the spider-verse is a canon event across all realities. It's always awesome every time.
There was one universe where it wasn't awesome.
That universe no longer exists.
One thing that I personally appreciate Cam for, is that he's one of the few nerdcore creators who will actually _directly_ mention the material the piece is based on. I came here to listen to a 2099 rap, not an original piece vaguely based off the character.
