This is definitely the best Doc Ock I've seen and will definitely be a grail for Spider-Man collectors everywhere yet the low edition size is sure to drive up the value the paint and sculpt are incredible as well as the concept showing him suspended in mid air as he walks with the tentacles is genius the only 0art that concerns me is that main key supporting the body that doesn't key in properly I hope you get that to fit properly when you reassemble this piece at your office it's always great to see all of the amazing statues in your collection congratulations on acquiring XM's Doc Ock

I like when sculptors try to remix the classic design from the 60s (in most characters created back then) and just give them a modern touch. Love that Dock Ock's is a combination of his original Ditko appereance with the more known "standard" look from the 90s show. Love the coat and arms. Most Dock Ock designs make or break on how the artist does the tentacles, imo.

Well, finally you got this piece. The long wait is over. It does look good. Great sculpt, good paint job, very dynamic. Yeah, shipping companies take more liberties now. Especially because people are now more dependent on them.

I love almost everything about this statue. Paint, sculpt, design, detail, concept, etc. They knocked it out of the park. I really love that you get two head sculpts also. As much as I appreciate the comic bowl cut, it's not for me.

Mr. Eh-Eh-Eh-Eh-Eh-XXX! Great video and really this statue is a 5 out of 5. I received mine yesterday when I got home. There was the DHL-mishandled box (does DHL instruct their employees to gnaw at the shipping boxes?) on my porch. Fortunately, no damage to the XM Studios box or the statue. As I unboxed him (is it weird to get “happy” over “The Straps?”) and took out the first layer, I chuckled like a little kid when I saw the bank building base. Holy Canoli, what an amazing....and heavy....piece. Then came assembly. A little confusing as to which tentacle went where, but all in all okay. That claw for the upper right tentacle did give me a fit as it did to you. Once done: HOLY SH*T! This is one AMAZING statue. The detail is amazing, though the statue itself is rather simple. This is the only 1.4 scale Doc OC statue I’ve ever seen and he is truly worth the exceptionally long wait. I have all of the other Spidey-Villans from XM except Sandman and that pedophile-looking guy with the lion. 🙀😂. Doc Oc pairs well with the latest XM Spiderman release (still a second favorite of mine behind a Sideshow Spidey). This Doctor Octopus statue has some serious weight to him, as do all in the Sinister 6 line, especially Mysterio, Electro and The Lizard statues. This is truly a keeper. As usual, Mr. X, another great and informative video.

Holly smokes Mr X OMG this is like a wet dream come true. Of course this peace is a 5 out of 5 and if I may correct you for a moment. This is not obe of those in case you want peaces, this is unequivocally one of those you need to have peaces. The whole sculpture is done so well. Yes the bricks on the outside of the building, could have been done better, but when you see how well done that Doctor Octopus is. Not even your peripherals would pick it up. Wow! Congratulations on this purchase. Well worth the wait. I do not have too much of a problem with my mail delivery because I tip my mail pearson well on the holidays. I know you can't do that in the DMV, but that one you just can't help.
Looks great! They nailed his shape (he was always a bit thicc) and that classic bowl-cut + red goggles is 100% the way to go!

I absolutely love the look of this piece. Man you would think that this day and age during these time buisneses would want to try and keep more business as possible but man that just want you to know they have you by the scrotem. Oh I love all the little details the concept is stunning 5/5 oh yeah. Design is stunning I love the coins details on the camera the layers on the tentacles just amazing. Assembly looks really fair and straightforward altho I would be crapping my pants as I have such bad luck I would drop it straight away. I love the art prints and the display cards. Oh no it looked easy on putting together. 4/5 is great still for design. Oh portrait with red eyes is nice but the red goggle and haircut makes me feel abit off. The blue metallic Goggles the stubble and cheesey sinister grin the paint is very beautiful on this whole piece. My favourite thing on this statue is the background base. I think detail in that is the nicest and cleanest look the coins are very nice looking. Whohoo paint 5/5 sculpt too yay. To be honest this is a very nice and probably one of the best non Venom Spider-Man pieces. Hell yeah 5/5 X-Factor statue so glad he is. Great video Mr.X take care

The paint and pose on this Doc Oct statue is the best part for sure. I kind of wish they had been more creative as to what Doc Oct was doing with his arms. However, I'm sure XM's Doc Oct will sell out quick.

Got you on the couriers, but have to say it is a difficult time. I work in logistics and due to COVID it is a madhouse. Both airfreight and seafreight rates skyrocketed and DHL, FedEx etc get more and more orders to proces now while shipping/trucking options are limited.

Amazing! Doc Ock is one of my Favorite villains Period and I would Love to own this one! I have a 1/6 figure of him from Spider-Man 2 and I love that one but u can't beat a comic inspired Doc Ock👏💚🐙💚👏

I finally got this! I had a pre-order with a store that was delayed and delayed and eventually cancelled. Was looking at importing it and all the hassle and extra cost involved. Luckily bought it off someone in a facebook group. Not a fan of the Duane Dibley portrait, but the other one is close to ASM#55. Also main peg had some scuffing against the hole and it's quite a hassle getting those tentacles off(that's what she said). I really like Doc Ock and I'm very glad to have it but would have liked a visible metal chest harness. I think XM did better with Mysterio and Vulture.
Interesting statue. I agree that it would have been amazing if Spider-Man was reflected in the goggles and if they had added a red light up feature to the end of the tentacles. It’s the little details that make a great statue. Personally, Spider-Man’s villains aren’t my favorite, but I do like the heft/girth of this statue and how his body is generally one piece.
DOC OCK and his bowl cut hair is a truly frighting impressive piece of sculpture.
