Honestly though, the deluxe insecticons always one up the G1 insecticons. Chop Shop is ussually the only one to appear, I am glad we got Ransack with Barrage and Venom being rumoured, I just hope they get the remolding to make themselves, well, themselves. I say this because Barrage and Venom are the most beast looking out of the Deluxe insecticons even in G1, Ransack always had the similar to Kickback look with Chopshop looking like some weird chainsaw bug, but Barrage is an actual green beetle and its kinda hard to fuck up a Cicada in Venom.
I love how chaotic these are and I’m glad I’m not the only one who talks like this to themselves in a closed room

I always prefer the realistic bug modes of BW over the blocky G1 bug modes, and am kinda sad that the G1 bugs never get that treatment
