Such a masterful edit! One of the best on this series. I keep coming back to it. The music choice is perfect and the way you synchronized it with the picture and sound from the series is beyond amazing. I especially love the moment with ajuhma's kill, when MJ and JW are seen interchangeably, complimented with sound effects. The ending also gives me chill, almost otherworldly feeling. Like MJ is really gonna live forever in JW from now on.

I really need a backstory on moon jo that explains why he is the way he is. That's the most important part of any serial killer story, to understand the mind of the psycho.
perhaps he was being abused by his parents so severely (you can see his scars), which is why the landlady took him in. the landlady could be the prime reason for the way he behaves, because you can see how in many scenes she keeps mentioning the fact that she raised him.
i thought his backstory was that he was raised by the woman who owned the building. she’s also insane and so she probably raised him that way too.
If you still remember, the ahjumma of the studio once mention to the church lady (aka her long friend) that the people around her weren't sick, she made them like that. I think that's clear enough. Just like how the dentist did to the main character, I believe that's what the ahjumma did to her 'children' as well. Raising them to become killers.

Why is everyone only talking about how great Lee Dong Wook's acting was in this show? Im Siwan's character was more complex and he did such an amazing job showing the transition from sanity to complete madness. His facial expressions throughout the show were very diverse and natural. It's hard to believe this is the same sweet and timid guy from Misaeng.
The drama was really thrilling, but everytime he calls him "Babe"... I would definitely fall for it. Or maybe watching too much BL really stirred me up. 🤣

It's about a guy who transferred to Seoul for work. He was looking for a cheap place to stay. Not knowing that the place he rented has some of the messed up people he could ever meet.

A MASTERPIERCE NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES I SEE IT!!
Isn't it fantastic how they pulled off this character so flawlessly sick and insane without giving him a super sad sob story? And it worked so well, because he owned his insanity.
I’m pretty sure he has a backstory, but it was only hinted at. The story is told from a very limited perspective. Moonjo’s body is scarred and it’s implied that he once tried suppressing his anger just as the protagonist was doing. Was he abused? Was he bullied? We can not know, but something pushed him over the edge and learned how freeing it was to act according to his impulses and quit restraining himself. He wants his victims to come to that same realization.
The reason I came to this conclusion was because of the scars, when he asked if Jungwoo was the same as he, and that time Moonjo beckoned for Jungwoo to kill if he wanted to kill. The little tidbits that hint at his character and past paint a very fragmented picture of Moonjo’s mind.
He does have a backstory. He was abused by his mother i guess and that's why the landlord raised him. Landlord is probably the main reason why they all became psychopaths.
They would definitely make a good pair in another life

For those who are wondering if Moon Jo was gay, then YES he was. The original webtoon story was BL ( Boy's Love). But don't know if the drama didn't mention this on purpose. But still you can clearly feel how Moon jo flirts with Jong Woo and sometimes get jealous when other people say they're close to him.

NO WHATTTT! I already completed the webtoon (hell is other people) and there was not a single instance where it was mentioned that moon Jo ( I am not sure whether this was also his name in the webtoon) was gay. In the webtoon specifically he didn't really flirt with the MC. But it won't be wrong to say he was clearly obsessed with the MC since he used to stalk him but OBSESSION DOESNT SPECIFY YOUR LOVE INTEREST!!!
The genre in the webtoon was thriller and never BL . So Idk where you got that ' hell is other people' is BL cause there was no romance in it it was only psychological thriller😭😭

I don't think they ever explained how he got his scars?! I think it could just be a habit when he calls him Jagiya because you can see he does this with several other people and it could just be because of his infatuation with Jung woo. Moon Joon kind of sees him as a partner that he wants to manipulate into becoming like him.
Male Fabian I heard that the scars are from his childhood. Basically his parents abused him and later on he killed his parents so he had to go to orphanage or smth

I mean, he is such an innocent guy (in general) (as a person), I respect and him suddenly doing such a scary character, gave me literal chills. It’s pure talent! I mean... Jeosong Saja is literal death and he is such a cinnamon roll and now look at the same person, totally human, playing the scariest character in the world! AHHHHHH!

This serie is on of the best I ever seen in my life. A masterpiece..not a lot of place to film the entire serie.and still, actor are amazing, story i amazing...korean soap are way better that what we do in europe. So much expression, respect... wonderfull thanks a lot for those moments. I recommend hotel de luna....i am watching it on Netflix great also

Gosh. I found this edit this morning and I'm watching again and again it. It was my first K-drama and I've become obsessed with Lee dong wook. I watched bad and crazy too after finishing SFH. Seriously, he is so versatile actor. But I'm in love with his acting in SFH.
