I just got my 2022 R F 2 weeks ago I love it man it’s super easy to ride not stupid Loud here everyone rides on the streets so I can take it thru the hood to the powerlines and stuff and rip it up we have a section of powerlines that runs through woods for 6 miles it’s awesome can make so many lines and no houses anywhere close

Hi man love this video - could look for hours. You have some serious riding skills to tackle this SICK trail which could already be considered as hard enduro. That is a huge confirmation I made the right choice last Christmas. Just shy on 60 hours and almost only training for basic skills. If you don’t mind 2 recommendations: Some gummy tires will help a lot on this slippery roots (look up Rich Larsen “The IRC Tire Guy” - an excellent YT Channel) and Number 2: get a rubber spark plug cap for water crossings to avoid stalling the bike… Cheers from Northern Thailand where this bike is the most popular one

I have one of these and I love it take the baffle out and there is and adjustment for the rear brake and I did mine almost all the way down and it's so much better the things hate is the skid plate it's just plastic and it's electric start only otherwise it's a great reliable bike

I'm 42, 5'7" and 148lbs i don't think I'm gonna outgrow it, especially since i mainly want it for fishing and mellow trail riding!! Thanks!!
Itll be the perfect trail putter! Makes it easier to get over obstacles with the big 21”/18” wheelset! Kawasaki doesnt really have the best warranty. Once it rolls off the slowroom floor its yours. Id get a used one (and i did) it saved me 1500$ and the guy rode it twice. Thing was practically brand new and I didn’t have to pay taxs on it because it was used! Have fun and enjoy!

Can we get a vid on how to adjust the shift lever? Seems the adjustment is done at the linkage bar???
You asking about a klx140 specifically?
If so, yes the klx shifter position is changed with the linkage. You can start by removing the splined shaft and move it up one tooth. Then adjust the linkage if you need it higher. Be careful that you dont extend the linkage too far for the rear section of the link hits the frame and you wont be able to shift

Hey bro, i was wondering what psi you were running on this route.
About 8-10 psi rear, like 10-14 psi front!
So I definitely don’t get the opportunity to ride on trails like this. I have a 2014 Yamaha XT250 that I currently ride on/off road. I’m really thinking about getting one of these KLX 140 Kawasaki’s for my woods riding. Again my woods is no where near as gnarly as the trails you were riding.

Love the vid! Also love this bike got it last summer and had a blast every single ride! I also did a very long trip with some quads and had to be wide open all the time bc of the low top speed but while they burned between 50-80$ of fuel I only burned almost 5$ CAD 😂 you should have seen their faces when I went to pay 😮 even I was surprised! I don’t remember how many kilometers that trip was but for a whole day of riding 10$ worth of fuel was well worth every pennies😁

unfortunately, there are no aftermarket suspension parts that will bolt up for the R model. You'd have to swap to kx85 forks or something similar @@MilneandSon

Highly considering the klx140RF based on pricepoint with fullsize tires, and the ability to learn on it and teach my gf to ride. Im about 5’11-6ft and 170-180lbs how do you think the bike would handle my weight?
Upgrade to the BBR stiff springs and youll be in love! I noticed the suspension is too soft even only 150lb
They are fantastic confidence inspiring boosting bikes! Absolutely love mine, and as you can see in my riding videos this thing goes anywhere!
The upgrade is relatively cheap at 220$ for front and rear suspension upgrades
You only really start to notice the suspension not being stiff enough at higher speeds
If you end up subscribing and sticking around ill be showcasing a full build of the klx140rf. Ive been stock pilling all the goodies for it for a while now and the build will begin next month!

Why would added weight of radiators make it better? Its never overheated? No companies make plastics for these bikes. Only OEM

And I know everyone on the internet is gonna cry and scream “YOU DONT NEED TO TOUCH THE GROUND JUST GET A 450” but I could care less. I like to touch the ground, I spend most of my day touching the ground believe it or not
Because the larger wheelset the klx140RF/G model comes with will make it easier to traverse over obstacles (rocks logs etc)
They have less rolling resistance being a larger diameter
The crf big wheel 125 has a seat height of 30.9 inches
The klx140RF/G has a seat height of 30.7” and has bigger wheels and longer/taller suspension.
The klx is really a no brainer better option

I have yet to mess with the rear clickers. The rear definitely needs to be stiffer and the same for the front. At high speeds hitting hard whoops etc i bottom out the front and rear

I know everybody’s different in certain people enjoy different things. But God dammit, Enduro riding just looks like the worst thing in the world. It just never looks fun to me.
Its for those that enjoy the challenge. The harder it gets the more it pushes you your riding skill and limits. Its not for everyone and sometimes people dont want to come back out with me after i take them out lol. its really just an adrenaline rush and the excitement of seeing where you can ride a dirtbike
Then add in the excitement of finding new terrain every corner and cool viewpoints of the ocean, mountain tops or cool new lakes makes it a blast!
