Thanks for posting this. I bought one of these chippers in August, but CZcams's search index didn't pick up your video. It would have been handy as I had to figure out this myself! One note: I found that 3/4" drive 15/15" impact sockets did not fit into the recessed area around the bolt heads. I had to use a 1/2" socket with an adapter to 3/4" drive. I think you may be doing the same, hard to see from the video though. Definitely get the largest breaker bar Amazon sells though.

Yea they turn hard and I do have a half inch socket with 3\4 adapter

Went through this last summer. Used a 3' pipe sleeve over the breaker bar to loosen the bolts.
Did you confirm the knife/shear spacing after swapping the knives? Those bolts were even more difficult to loosen.

Do you sharpen your own blades? If so what do you use?

The operator manual states it's necessary to remove the blocks under the blades and clean them so that everything is properly torqued. We're doing this now but cannot get the blocks out. Came here to see if there was a trick to it, but you didn't do that procedure.

Do you use a torque spammer to have your nuts at the same pressure?
