Winne the Pooh: The Honey Hunt on the VTECH V.Smile Motion
Join Winnie the Pooh and his friends on this fantastic adventure where preschoolers learn the alphabet, numbers, shapes, vocabulary and much more. Help Pooh solve puzzles and collect as many honey pots as possible on the way to the party! Don't forget to look out for the secret areas where Pooh can meet his friends and find more honey pots!
Path 1 - The Hundred Acre Wood
Pooh's adventure begins in The Hundred Acre Wood, where he can find honey drops and letter honey pots. Collect them all to have more honey for the party. Use the joystick to move forward, press ENTER to jump, and move the joystick down to crawl. Explore the game formore exciting surprises!
Path 2 -Up in the Honey Tree
There are honey pots up in the honey tree! Help Pooh collect the numbered honey pots in the right order. Use the joystick to move Pooh and press ENTER to jump. Move your joystick up and down to move up and down the ladders.
Jumping Rope
Let's go skipping with Rabbit and Tigger! When you are ready, press ENTER to jump and Pooh will count along with you.
Path 3 - The Balloon Ride
How wonderful to fly through the sky! Press ENTER to catch a ride on a balloon, and collect the colored honey pots. When you catch one, the balloon changes its color to match.
It's a Blustery Day
What a windy day! Help Pooh collect leaves for his album. The kind of leaf you need will be shown in the upper left-hand corner of the screen. Help him collect as many as you can! Use the joystick to move the wheelbarrow.
Path 4 - Winter Honey
Look at all the falling snow! Help Pooh collect the letter honey pots so he can spell the word on the screen. Don't let him fall into the river or an icy hole! Press ENTER to jump over them.
Pooh's Thoughtful Spot
Which way should Pooh go to get to his thoughtful spot? Use the joystick to step on the correct shapes, and help Pooh find his way.
Path 5 - Crossing the Stream
Hop into the umbrella for a peaceful float downstream! Look for the honey pots labeled with shapes, and find the ones with the shape you need. Use your joystick to move the umbrella.
The V.Smile (stylized as V.SMILE TV LEARNING SYSTEM) is a sixth-generation educational home video game console manufactured and released by VTech. Titles are available on ROM cartridges called "Smartridges", to play off the system's educational nature. The graphics are primarily sprite-based. The console is often sold bundled with a particular game, with most of them having a game called Alphabet Park Adventure. Several variants of the V.Smile console are sold including handheld versions, or models with added functionality such as touch tablet integrated controllers or microphones. The V-Motion is a major variant with its own software lineup that includes motion sensitive controllers and has Smartriges designed to take advantage of motion-related "active learning". The V-Motion and Smartridges however are fully backwards compatible with other V.Smile variants and V.Smile Smartridges, and a V-Motion Smartridge can also be played on V.Smile console or handheld, albeit with limited functionality. However, in 2010, the new and old models of the V.Smile were discontinued. VTech still made games for the V.Smile until at least 2012.
Several versions of V.Smile and V-Motion consoles and handhelds have continued to be sold after newer models are introduced, allowing consumers a wide variety of consoles to choose from (frequently offered in an alternative pink color scheme) without worrying about a lack of backwards compatibility between games or consoles. Some key differentiators between systems and the ability to fully utilize all game functions include the options of a microphone, touch tablet, additional joystick port (for 2-player gameplay), stylus-enhanced controller, or motion sensitive game pad (with V-Motion).
