i love you dad for liking Depeche Mode.
This song relate to politicians, corrupted government and what happens nowadays.
There is nothing new about this. Most people are coward to do something about it.
It's an old strategy from a playbook. That is useful, contracted artists are social events, and you get to feel embodied if you desire.
I love this song from the fab 80s
Magical song
Gorgeus ..beautiful song
Shalom. I'm Moti from Israel. Always we want to understand the words, it is dificault just to hear. Now we say in Hebrew: Sof Sof.. mean so much we wait and undersyand what is this words!
Great song. Remain Tel Aviv Clubs in 80, and 90..................
Shalom. It seems to me that not all of the words to this song have proper meaning. For example, "The turning point of a career, in Korea, being insincere." I believe that these lyrics have been written purely because they rhyme. I could be wrong or I could be right ... happy to be challenged on this!
@@ofishdolt1978You are wrong, it is not just rhymes, --> everything counts in large amounts ;) ^^
I'd like to say that it's more than just rhymes, but context. Also, it helps to investigate the reason for this song. There's a story behind it@@ofishdolt1978

In Korea…what does it mean?
Most probably did not have any meaning other than for the rhythm purpose. But they unintentionally miles ahead in related with 21st century pop culture.
I actually came to this video to confirm if i was actually hearing the word Korea 😆 they may have used it for ryhming but it does seem to fit with the song's message because in Korea for salaried workers your job becomes your whole identity and the work culture can be very toxic. You're basically married to your job in a way.
Heck even after the work day most employees are expected to attend 회식 (Hweshik) where the company goes out eating and drinking and if you dont go it's looked down upon from the boss that you're not a team player. It can seem fun at 1st but can be exhausting and draining on others (especially introverts)
Some 회식 will last til 3-4 am! And they usually happen in the middle of the week so you have to go to work pretty much in just a few hours with a hangover and sleep deprived. I should know I attened one with my husband and was fun at 1st put then it's like dang can i go home now????
Lol after that i was like never again. The higher ups were also kinda mad I refused to drink (I get horrible acid reflux from the stuff so i avoid it) even told them my reasons and they'e still like "but why?? so what if you get acid reflux?"😬 My husband is extroverted and even he gets sick of the ole 회식 song and dance 😆
