    Somehow an unquenchable form of thirst for respect or for a demonstration of respect could relate to the form of confusion pointed to in the following sentiment...
    This was at some point in a tweet/X from some user called stimmyabby and seems to hint at something meaningful, it makes me curious whether equality is the goal or not the goal, depending on the mindset of the respect seeking entity...
    - Sometimes people use "respect" to mean "treating someone like a person" and sometimes to mean "treating someone like an authority"
    For some, "if you don't respect me, I won't respect you" means "if you don't treat me like an authority, I won't treat you like a person"
    and they think they're being fair but they aren't -

    I'm guessing that respect is a set of boundaries accepted or agreed between two people or a group of people.
