Gautam Gambhir should be made team mentor for Indian cricket team. He has encouraged a team 1st culture and it's irony that our selection panel is obsessed with individual stats when it comes to India selection instead of impact and so despite being No. 1 team none of the KKR Indian players make it to the Indian T20 team. Even though RR is No. 2 team, don't their players are first choice XI due to same thought process
If we are to win a championship, we need to play as a team and not chase stats playing defensively fearing failure
I don't think, anyone can really push out mega superstars or legends from our team bro. You make an enemy out of almost the entire nation. Young players who replace them, get brutally mocked and under unhealthy pressure, from fan bases and ex cricketers, experts.

As a KKR fan, its been a dream season till now. But winning the trophy isn't going to be easy considering that Cummins the captain and Head the opener know how to perform in big moments. If SRH somehow make the final, I have to agree with a heavy heart that they are gonna be the favourites.

I have a confession: in one Cricbuzz post-match video, I commented unfavourably to Shreyas Iyer’s captaincy. It seems I was not just. His captaincy impressed me yesterday. A credit was due. 😳😳😳
His batting form however doesn't do justice to his talent. He gives an impression his style is more suited for ODIs, may be in Tests played on flat surfaces. Wish him well👍👍👍
Where as Pandya brought Thusara@ 15th over and Bumrah @ 16th. Thusara gave 11 but Bumrah took Rinku on the second ball bringing Starc to bat- this could be in 15th. 👎👎👎

Especially since he is the long-term captain for MI, he should have just said something along on the lines of “it’s just one of those freak seasons where we couldn’t get off the line and be consistent. This team is one of the best in the IPL and we just have to see where we went wrong and what we can do for next season. We had some individuals who stood up for us (Tilak, Wadhera, Bumrah). Every individual in this team would be looking to come back strongly next season”.

MI has the most expensive opening duo (31 crores) in Rohit Sharma and Ishan Kishan and they haven't delivered and that's been an issue all season. Rohit Sharma ( 349 runs, Ave 29.08, SR 145.41, 1 x 100, 0 x 50 ) and Ishan (306 runs, Ave 23.53, SR 153, 1 x 50 )
And because MI haven't even bought an overseas opener since 2022 who could just keep up with the explosive starts that we seeing this season, they can't even make changes to their lineup.
Having not qualified thrice in 4 seasons, Never thought MI will miss Cam Green's impact as a top order batsman because his 450 runs at 150 strike rate was the one of the seasons along SKY's 600 runs that they qualified last season
Can't blame the MI bowlers much because 1st choice bowlers like CSK are injured and similar to RCB their home ground is pretty small and yet those two teams have done a bit better. A situation like a new captain coming into the side is similar to SRH.
