Cabbage Patch Kids Re-root Tutorial - Pencil Curl Tutorial Part 1

This is a tutorial on how to make pencil curls. You can you metal crochet hooks; however I use wooden dowels at different measurements. The smaller the wood dowel the tighter the curl.
I hope you enjoy this tutorial and it helps you with your creations.
Once all your dowels are done you will lightly wet them an place on a cookie sheet. Bake at 275 degrees F for 60 Minutes.

You are very good, I like your videos. I have a cabbie I want to re root. What size rod do you advise me to get?

I want to say this particular rod is 1/4 inch... you can get these rods in packets at Michael's or Walmart. The bigger the rod the looser the curls.... so 1 inch would make very loose curls instead of Pencil curls. The smaller the rod the tighter the pencil curls. It's really up to you how tight you want your curls. =)
