Jay, what do you normally do in your free time?
Jay:
In my free time, I normally spend time with my girlfriend or my child. Normally my girlfriend is working when I have my free time, so it's normally myself and my son, and we'd go to the park, we might go to a football match even though he's a little young. Or we might just get a coffee and walk around, play games.
Petra:
And what did you do when you were single with no child?
Jay:
When I was si... Wow, many moons ago. I've got to be careful what I say here in case my girlfriend hears. No, I had a good time. I went drinking with my friends. We watched football, but I never really went too crazy, apart from my 16th birthday.
Petra:
You mean like wild parties... and stuff?
Jay:
Wild parties, yeah, only a few. I like to study in and do things around that.
Petra:
Okay. And what about playing computer games, do you like that?
Jay:
Yeah, I still like playing them now if I get the opportunity, but I have to be careful.
Petra:
So what's your favourite game?
Jay:
My favourite game currently is Apex Legends, which is kind of a battle royale game. You're fighting against like 60 other players, and it's great fun online.
Petra:
So you like online games better than just usual ones.
Jay:
I would always play against other people. It's just so much more fun for me.
Petra:
I see, great.
Jay:
Do you play games?
Petra:
I used to, I don't play now, but I used to. But never online.
Jay:
Oh.
Petra:
At that time it wasn't even possible.
Jay:
It wasn't available back then.
Petra:
No, no, my internet connection was too slow, so it wasn't possible at all.
Jay:
Never mind.
Petra:
Okay, great talking to you.
Jay:
You too, Petra.
