NEW TIRES :: NEW RIMS!!! 73 Nova

Hey everyone! Today I finally got some beastly new rims from US MAGS and COOPER COBRA GT Tires!!! Also I got some new QA1 shocks! Everything I got here was from summit racing! No I do not get sponsored from them ( I wish).

I had a blue 73 Nova I bought in 1975 from the original owner with around 45k miles. It was all stock except for the wheels andpair shocks called "High Jackers". He had chrome slots with white letter tires like you put on that I changed for the rally wheels with caps and rings like you had but in reverse from a guy I met at a car show. I liked the rally wheels because they came on Vettes and Z-28s. We literally traded straight up wheels for wheels right there in the parking lot. I've had at least 35 cars since then both new and used but my Nova remains my favorite and I miss that car and regret selling it. I traded it in for a new 1977 Monte Carlo with every option they came with imcluding power "moonroof". I actually miss both those cars but the Nova the most. Times were good back then and life was so much simpler. Gas was 45 cents a gallon. Those were the days my friend. I'd buy another Nova today if I found one locally and it was the same blue with a bench seat like mine was.

Yeah I have a 73 hatchback ended up doing the same thing with the shackles took care of that problem

Used to be able to pick up '68 & up Nova's for a grand. Less for '73+ just because of the smog crap. No you're lucky to even find one. I did see a RARE '79 with a factory 4sp. Still have never seen a Base Model Monte with a 3sp.😮

I HAVE THE SAME SET UP...BUT I USE 295 50 15 WITH 15X8 5 3/8 BACK SPACE..THE SHOCK ARE 24 INCHES ...THE 20 INCHES FROM FACTORY ARE TO SHORT..

All novas are off center.drivers side allways rubs especially on curves.
