These trucks need manual lockers on the rear.
Million dollar truck with out a no slip rear end, how clever.
Pat has it exactly right. If production loses control of their haul road, then they need to shut their operation down until such time as they regain control of the road surface. The wear and tear on the equipment, especially the tires, isn;t worth the cost. This is in addition to the possibility of wrecked equipment and injuries to crew members.
I know, you are absolutely right, but in a copper and gold mine like this one, every second, every kilo of ore counts. But safety is also our first priorityand the production goes according to weather conditions.
I have been the boss on jobs like this and I always know exactly how many loads per hr I need I will even haul with a negative count for a bit I could always move quantity around with a sharp pencil and I always keep some quantity rat holed for a rainy day Somebody's always making money even if the job ain't.
This is where the mine superintendent needs to step in and stop all mining until conditions improve. Not worth someone losing there life.
Yes, I agree with you, but production simply cannot be stopped because of the rain, because the rains last for several days. If the production is stopped until the working conditions improve, the company will be in a big loss, that's why we try to work with extra caution in such conditions.
"Rain days," do not make any progress for anyone.
@@kyfriedhb1297 that's right, enemy number one in every mine
And it's this attitude is why we can't compete with other foreign Nations and our forefathers that built these industries because everybody's too afraid they're going to get hurt nobody's willing to take the risk that's why it's so hard to live in America anymore nobody wants to take a risk just like firefighters oh we can't go into a burning building anymore cuz what if our firefighter gets hurt and who's going to be there to save you well there ain't nobody saving me anyway cuz you won't go into the burning buildings anymore if you're worried about being hurt then don't get a dangerous job waterfall job waterfall soldiers that fight for this country was to job what if our soldiers that fight for this country and give us the right to work and do all this other stuff where to say well there's too much too much shooting out there and too much artillery we can't defend you right now because we might get hurt would that be okay no it's not because it's their job if you're worried about getting hurt don't get a dangerous job wimps
@@jasonwinters2708 Please explain why I should risk my life for a pay packet and the glory of a multi national?
Do these machines not have any kind of diff lock?
15 yrs experienced mining trucker in arctic.
Never understand such a stupidity and total unprofessionality. Always said : those stones placed here for last 40 million years, and can await for a couple of hours, till the roads will be graded.
yes i know but explain it to our bosses
@@HeavyMiningEquipment immediatedly leave that company! Good news- professional trucker nowadays can easily find good job for few minutes with an intelligent enought bosses.
Giant machines with amazing power 💯
Absolute beasts
Construct and maintain haul roads properly, completely offset by the increase in production and less wear&tear on the gear🤷♂️
I know, but nothing helps when it keeps raining constantly.
And seen as this is a quarry, would it be impossible for them to stick gravel down on the muddy bits💁🏼♂️
I am surprised that the roads are not better maintained. Truck traffic like this sure slows down production. Those trucks sure are helpless in this weather.
Actually, the roads are well maintained, but the material is such that when it rains, chaos ensues.
No diff locks, worn tyres = poor grip. Any chance I can have the managers job? Clearly they've no clue about maintenance! Also, for the price of these machines I'd be requiring diff locks as standard kit(unless they're fitted and the crew have no idea)?
Would think with how much companies spend on those trucks they would be all wheel drive and have better designed off road tires instead of something only good for highways.
Well, i guess they know what they're doing.
Never dump too close to the edge
Don't drive too fast with a load
Reverse down to the excavator in tight situations
It's basic work, not without danger
Looks like a coal mine there. That’s what the roads are like wet, when they dry, they’re like concrete! Been there done this. Good video.
Thank's for the comment, but actually, it's a gold and copper mine.
@@HeavyMiningEquipment oh, it sure is similar then. Thanks! I’ve worked at a gold mine, a coal mine, and I’m now at the oil sands. Those roads are beginning to look a like I guess 😂
Kelemahan produk kenapa tidak 4*4
That's right mate
Looks like mining company's need to stop with the owners driving Lamborghini's and living in huge lavish mansions and be a little more in tune with equipment maintenance, like tyres, just because the trucks are heavy don't mean your going to get traction without tread. I get it tyres are expensive and they are getting the job done but come on put some tyres on those things when they get low on tread.
At the end of the clip bro almost hit the loader
Yeah, it was tough
Strike time

Kolaylıklar ve Sağlıklı günler dilerim.
Thank you so much friend.
Not the place for autonomous trucks.
Would four wheel drive help?
Those are some pretty steep grades those trucks are climbing
Of course it's a mine.
Nice 👍
A neve a Alana é grande caminhão fica atolando né é engraçado que fica
If they had diff.lock it would help a lot.!
I know, some have some don't.
buen video
Thanks a lot
BRAVO
Maybe they need some weight for traction. 😆
Придумали бы песочницы,как на поездах.
Put the hoist up some it will load the drive
Exactly, how we do that all the time
Put the hoist up a little
👍👍
WHERE ARE THE CHAINS?
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks friend 👍
What they need is a small blade D6 with an attachment to boost them up the slope
Or they need a grader
Do electrical assist trucks have the same traction problem in the wet
@@nigelmcculloch3746 They also have a problem, only tracked vehicles don't.
Dont they have diff locks?
Yes they have.
Вся работа идет электродвигателями на обеих половинах колес. Они работают и как АБС и как противопроскальзывающие
@@yakovsherbakov3326 Да, но когда дорога скользкая, ни электродвигатели, ни динамический тормоз не помогают.
