Because it was filmed over a year ago, it probably took them quite awhile to complete due to covid. California was a state that kept covid protocol longer than any state.

On April 26, 2018, it was announced that Sebastian Maniscalco was set to star in an untitled film inspired by his life for Lionsgate, with Austen Earl attached to co-write the screenplay alongside Maniscalco.
Principal photography began on September 21, 2021, in Mobile, Alabama, and lasted for one month.

Who freaking knows? Honestly, it’s all a bunch of bull crap if you ask me. First of all, they are filming in Alabama not crazy Cali and they are OUTSIDE 🤦🏼♀️. I also saw people wearing masks around their chins and apparently these Hollywood libiots think celebrities are exempt (surprise surprise)

From what I know watching Sebastian through the years is that his wife’s family is from the south and they still make a visit once a year or something. He mentions it in one of his comedy specials and also talks more in detail in his podcast. I can’t recall for sure if it’s Alabama or another southern state

I used to love DiNero's acting, but he's way past his prime now. He's become a very bitter man about life and it shows on screen. His role in The Irishman was terrible. Pesci deserved an Oscar. DiNero, stale, like 2 day old bread.
