The Samson truck mounted backhoe was mostly used in the 1960s and before, my Dad operated one. They had some weird equipment years ago.
Yeah.. I know they had they had to come up with some geniuses things when working off grid.. in the mines and logging industry..
I've seen photos of larger excavators mounted on heavy trucks back in the day, it actually wasn't all that uncommon and was actually done commercially. The advantage is it's easy to move the excavator from place to place quickly, the downside is the frame, and suspension limited the capacity of the excavator.
I seen a FJ40 Landcruiser set up similar with a auger on the back.
My brother add a GMC truck that was 3/4 ton with a backhoe mounted in the bed. The backhoe was called a truck hoe and apparently was designed to be in the back of a truck it was pretty cool I used it to dig trenches around my house

At least the workmanship on the 64 Plymouth Belvidere shorty looks good. I hate they ruined that car, but they took time and did a good job ruining it.

That belvedere was just beautiful until some thing just savaged the middle, almost anything could have worked better....That two seat covered lawn mower they put in the middle is just a crying shame

The cab back appears to be from at least a 94-96 Dakota.

Okay just saying that while the Plymouth Belvedere still looked atrocious, it is possible (like snowball's chance in hell lol) that the car was comprised of two cars, one car totaled in the front and other in the rear and welded together.

I really like that GMC Samson! Looks cool & I could put that backhoe on it to work. I got a lot of digging to do on the farm for drains & foundations etc, shame its in Canada bit too far from south of France Great piece of kit tho! P.s I reckon the guy that built that teardrop thing was a boatbuilder looking at how it is laid out.

The 4x4 wagon is more SUV than 99% of modern SUVs!
A few of the cars have potential. But the cost to bring them to that potential would be way more then it would be worth. The little smart car is kinda cool because you don't see a lot of them being modified. And you can stick it sideways on the back of a motorhome🤣. Thanks to the fans for their submissions. Okay that theory could have been nice if they put a little bit of effort into it and got that body to sit right on the chassis that coat of candy, apple red paint. Maybe that car start taking out your enemies. My biggest issue with the Jeep is why would you put a 3.8 Ford into anything? Are you just looking to replace a motor with a head gaskets go and take out the bottom end like every Ford 3.8 ever produced?
I like the shortened blue Mopar. The only thing I'd do to it is make it a quad headlamp setup.

That Belvedere was pretty cool . I don't remember the price though . Not a big fan of shorty cars yet i liked that one simply because it's not a shorty 57 chevy .

I'm kinda digging the Dodge Caravan truck. The seller might want to correct the year model on their listing, because that's definitely not a '98 Caravan. At the very least it's a '95 model, being a 2nd gen (1991-1995). A '98 would be a 3rd gen (1996-2000).

The wagon was for a derby car 8 out of 10. He’s wanting to trade for a caddy to run demo derbies and they are getting hard to find I’m seeing 71 to 76 gm wagons going for 4 to 5 grand just for a shell for demo derbies so his price isn’t bad.
And that's ridiculous too.. if people would stop paying these stupid prices for garbage .. because they are being influenced by reality TV..thats why the prices have shot up.
If you would pay that for a demo car you may need to seek professional help.
