- 👋 Today we check out the all new 2022 BMW M440i sDrive Coupe! This is the all new 2022 BMW 4 Series and has a new look up front with the massive grilles! The new BMW 4 Series for 2022 is a great luxury car with so much to offer and the sDrive rear wheel drive system gives it plenty of control! The M440i also packs a punch from the turbo engine! Today I test drive the all new 2022 BMW M440i sDrive Coupe! This is the new BMW 4 Series for 2022 and it has a new look! The new 2022 BMW 4 Series Coupe has a controversial front bumper with a huge grille! The classic kidney shaped grille from BMW has grown into a vertical grille going from the lower part of the bumper all the way to the hood! It looks pretty good in person! Reviewing the new 2022 BMW 4 series, the 2022 M440i is a great car! The exterior has sharp and modern styling with sleek curves. The interior has beautiful leather and a nice design. Very similar to current BMW models, but very easy to use and high quality. Driving the 2022 M440i was very nice! The Twin Power turbo engine packs a punch and gets up to speed with ease! And the electric mild hybrid system gives you no lag in the engine. Very smooth driving the 2022 M440i and I really have no complaint! This M440i was finished in white and had a nice set of gloss black M wheels with floating BMW center carps! I loved the painted red brake calipers too. The interior had black leather with aluminum colored plastic trim and blue stitching all around! I also liked the carbon fiber accents for the lip spoiler, mirror caps, rear diffuser and front intakes! The B58 motor has smooth power and a lot of it, while the 8 speed ZF transmission delivers crisp shifts! The M440 also handles very well for being a 4 seat car. Pretty flat in the turns in sport mode and just an overall good car to have for the daily aspects as well as the fun driving aspects. This 2022 M440i does come in highly priced over $70,000 USD, so it's not a cheap purchase for sure. Is it worth the price? 🏎

Great review! I think the bmw m440i has really what u want and need in a car! It has performance, usable back seats, decent trunk space, daily driverble and not too expensive as well. Nice!

Nice to know that for the size of this coupe that it has the same horsepower as the X3 M40i and both would look good racing on the track. This is a prime example of how fast these Beemers are and even the cheap 4 cylinders aren't any pushover!

The M 440i xdrive coupe’s actual 0-60 is 3.8 seconds, quite a bit faster than the listed 4.3 second time. I assume this one is a RWD. The xdrive version matches or exceeds the 2022 Supra 3.0’s and Evora GT’s performance stats but with useable back seats and plenty of cargo space via the trunk and folded down seats.
A few sites have said 3.8 and a few have said 4.1, so it's around there, and that depends on driver and road conditions. And it's rwd as I mentioned!

A very sharp looking car, it will definitely be a good daily driver. If I was looking at a 440i, I would also be looking at the 340i and it would be a tough choice between those two but ultimately I would have picked the 340i because it has 4 doors.

@@BrosFOURRSpeed In addition to practicality, I like how this car has features that aid in getting good fuel economy and at the same time be about as quick as a C6 Corvette with the LS3 engine.
Yeah it's a pretty effect car. Really good blend of everything for sure. I bet with a tune this would make some crazy power like the Supra too!

There is always a chance of the unexpected when it comes to modding cars but it is so addictive!

Well I bought a Supra lol. Had my Supra for 2 years but just sold it for the new Z. If you want back seats this M440 is a great choice! But I never needed the space and my GTR is the same layout as this. So depends on what you want
There’s an M440d available for Europeans. The fastest diesel car in current production with a 0-100kmh time of 4.6 seconds (tied with the M340d).

But I think it should, because you’re gonna get better gas mileage in the M440d.
Well honestly people don't buy too many of the diesel cars here. We like our diesel trucks. But the cars never caught on as well
@@BrosFOURRSpeed The only diesel cars I know that are sold in North America are the GMC Yukon Denali, Cadillac Escalade and Chevrolet Tahoe; they use 3 litre inline six diesels.
I don't think thats true. I've never seen a diesel version of those. We have full sized trucks, F250, RAM 2500 and Silverado 2500 with diesel engines. And then some VW cars. Thats about it
I have an X4 M40i in alpine white with blue brake calibers. 20 inch wheels. This is the same engine as my X4. Cars nowadays are more about the flashing looks less about reliability.

Nice video good job. Since you drove the m440 without adaptive suspension how much more stiffer is the car without it?
I believe this did have the adaptive suspension. I don't thing they offer this car without it. And at $70k this was a fully loaded car. Comfort mode has a very soft suspension, and then in sport mode it's much stiffer
25mpg isn't bad for almost 400hp the praying mantis grill I'm getting use too. Cool review Brian!!
If you get the M440d, it can do maybe 41mpg in combined city and highway, but that isn’t sold in North America; only Europe.
Yeah it’s a pretty efficient engine. And honestly you can get a solid 30 on the highway

I'd take either the BMW or Audi! BMW is going to be a bit more sporty than the Audi, but I think I'd go BMW!

Is it not twin-scroll not twin turbo ? I thought only the s58 engine (m4 car) has two mono-scroll turbos but the b58 (this car from the video) is a single twin-scroll turbo.
I think the twin/mono scroll words are confusing some people.
Yeah the B58 is a single turbo, twin scroll. S58 has two physical turbos

Thank you for introducing BMW! Excuse me, could you tell me mean of M440i? I understood that is “M” 4 model, 4000cc. But I didn’t figure out “i” mean. Does it show fuel?
That’s just how BMW names all their sedans. The M is for the ‘M Sport’ aspect to it. The 4 series has different trim levels and the 440 is the top one since it’s a higher number then the next one down

Yeah same engine. This is basically the two door version. If you need the better access to the rear seats, then go for the 3 series. If you don't, go for the 4. Same cars ;)

Very similar for sure. This is more sporty but the Mercedes is more luxurious. So equal, just different
I saw the M440i in person in orange and the grill made it look bad. If the grill was blacked out it would look nice
I have not seen an orange one. Blacked out grilles looks pretty nice on this and I think the M4 is what really makes this design pop!

Yes! The B58 motor is rock solid and very nice!

I like the new design, but more on the M series, it looks more proportional on those with the rest of the body work compared to the normal 4 series!

It's pretty much the same grille. M4 rocks this new design the best for sure. Can always modify your M4 for more power. Or get the new one

I can see that with the older cars. But I feel like the modern ones are very reliable. I've seem them up in the top 5 even. So a 2020 would be a pretty solid car to go with!
