11h5p. Yes you can. Most watch buckles have spring bar pins just like what connects the strap to the watch. I didn't know this either till I cut apart a crappy old strap to get the buckle. Cheers
I mean, pretty much all buckles use spring bars - and thank god because it would be a pain if they didn't, whenever you wanted to change the buckle. The exception is, normally, with the nato straps - they claim it is to have one less point of failure and it is an ode to their military origins. The truth is I have never had a problem with a spring bar failure on a buckle, no matter the strap. And even Omega uses buckles with spring bars on their nato straps (which are probably the best nato straps out there).
