Red Harlow absolutely must make an appearance in RDR3. I just feel like Harlow and Ricketts must have crossed paths at some point. Red Harlow should have been on one of the Gunslinger cigarrette cards.
Don’t think he will be in a redemption game if we are to see him I think it will be red dead revolver 2
@@keith3819 it would feel nice to play as a good guy bounty hunter in update graphics
Uncle isn't supposed to be red harlow but rockstar wants us to think that way. It wouldnt be like that if he comes in rdr2
@@Blood-zz2kt i want a rdr2, that would be awesome because rdr was awesome
Whether he existed in the Red Dead Redemption universe or not, there’s no denying that Red Harlow is still a LEGEND.
I hope we get a red dead redemption 3 that takes place during the late stages of the civil war - where you cant cross half the map for a point because there is a battle staging and the very first chapter you are in the union army as maybe a black solidier who is in a company that bc of the times is in a company that is on the front lines set to get wasted - kind of a Cold Mountain theme but he's union - and you have to navigate the south area of the game carefully and also avoid union areas bc of deserter and i think with AI at that point all this would make a great experience that would put the player in a really tense almost paranoid world - thats prob a bad word for it - but that's how I would write it. Red Harlow would be a support and or epilogue character depending on what happens to the main character - but going back that far would open up a whole new world (new maps with a little of the old but not like we've ever seen it - maybe going far west in the epilogue of that game would be limpany or I forget the name of the ghost town - a saint denis in a much earlier stage of developement - but as an epilogue treat - the rest being whats across the river to the east in rdr2. And Red Harlow would some how be a part of it - I feel they made john a better character in RDR2 epilogue and i thnk of the possibilities of a throwback like that - but i like my idea for the main character and the conflicts and world they would experience and would have to go with him as a supporting character to an extent
He's in the rdr universe he's mentioned in rdr2 by a npc and he probably uncle
Rockstar had a big missed opportunity to have Red Harlow on a cigarette card. Would have been perfect Easter egg to tie the 2 games together
@@KC.45 idk if it's a connection but Red Harlow is referenced in RDR2 at a random NPC camp. So idk if their in the same universe but Red Harlow is talked about like a urban Legend in the Red dead world
They don't want to reference that game since they didn't make it and I believe they would have to buy the rights to the red Harlow name
Different universes, would be awfully stupid to put someone from a different universe in a game that has nothing to do with the character
Red Harlow: "It never was about the money."
Dutch: "We need moah moneh!" 😡
The games really evolved over the years graphically and moneyilly
Tragically on in the late stages of Red Harlows life he developed a devastating disease called lumbago
I hope Rockstar will one day make a remake of Red Dead Revolver, but I'd like it to be about, the "true" events that happened, but I'm also conflicted because I enjoy the goofiness of the original such as the boss fights and I'd like those to kinda stick, or at least the strangeness to them. Like the dude who used had a gatling gun in a coffin, but knowing Rockstar, they'll probably leave Revolver in it's own space.
If Red Dead Redemption 3 doesn't focus on the continuation of Red Harlow's story and what happened to him and Jack Swift after Governor Griffin got killed, I can't say I'll be too intrigued. I've been waiting for a sequel to Revolver since 2009. 15 years.
I think the last thing that Red Dead Series needs is to go even further from The Western era.
Uh... Red Dead Revolver was set in the HEART of the western era. Are you stupid? Red Dead REDEMPTION was set after the western era and RDR2 was set during the ending of it.
I believe that Red Harlow, might of change his name due to Revenge’s and he could also possibly be living in Canada, just to enjoy his Retirement and not be Heard From Ever Again. It would also be Badass, if Red Harlow has runs into Charles Smith and decided to Live with him on the New Wapiti Reservation and Red Harlow is also Half Native American from his Mom Side.
Maybe Sadie Adler could meet up with him in South America. He could be the one that hires her for a protection agency or something.
@@keith3819 it seems like Sadies is in Brazil, she has told John about Moving There.
@@xxray88xx29 They could do a whole game based on her life in Brazil if they wanted to.
@@keith3819 True and the Year has to be set in 1914. Because, that is the Year on when John has Passed Away.
I just found this channel and it is the perfect channel for people who love the red dead story and the theory’s that come with it. The content on this channel is amazing
People have been saying Red Harlow was uncle since the first red dead redemption
I herd they both have a scorpion tattoo on there right hand. And uncle wears a glove on his right hand. Just saying
Red Harlow is uncle the maker of the game had that in his mind I don’t have a source but there is no way he didn’t
That would be out of character though . Why would he hang out with bandits ?
Terrific video. It sounded like a lot of thought was put into it. My favorite theory of the ones presented is the low-profile theory, as it's highly believable & it fits the story of the character. Red appeared to walk away from bounty hunting once he got his revenge, & I've always wondered if he may have gone back to make a life for himself with Katie O'Grady. I've always hated the Uncle theory for all the reasons specified, but also because Red Harlow was a bounty hunter. Red hunted outlaws, so it wouldn't make any sense for him to be an outlaw... especially not a nearly useless one. Additionally, along with the eye color, Red Dead Revolver would've taken place no earlier than the mid-1880s judging by the weaponry available to him, & he wouldn't have aged poorly enough to look like Uncle even if he'd lived the next 15 years in opium dens, brothels, & saloons.
He appears to be smiling in his rdr2 character model. Maybe he finally found peace? I definitely want a story where he passed Hosea, Dutch, Kid Arthur and Kid John in a possible side story.
@@cowwith4ws656 Oh thank you for being one of those people so I can finally explain the truth
@@cowwith4ws656 He’s not uncle. And here’s proof
Uncle is too short
He doesn’t have the skills
He doesn’t have the hand scar
He’s not half Native American
Uncle became an orphan when he was 9, Red became one when he was 14
Uncle had a pedophile uncle named Jeb, Red’s uncle was a Native American who didn’t live nearby.
@@feiwnakausvkaxbdkebkswowbq8331 really cool but like uncle is red harlow
cry
We need a 20 to 30 hours long, open world remake of this old gem that is Red Dead Revolver!
Great montage with the music at the start
by the way
It's just not possible for Red and Uncle to be the same person because of the age of Uncle in rdr2 which is set in 1899, and the age of Red in the 1880s Uncle would have to be 50 years old at the most.
I think Red Harlow finished his purpose in the 1880s, had 1 last beer at the bar, and got into his DeLorean, hit 88 MPH and is now living in 1985
I think it fits pretty well actually. Rdr1 they say Red was active about 30 years prior. Red was roughly 45 at the time. That would make him close to 75 during the first game and 63 in rdr2. Idk about you, but uncle looks to be right in that ball park.
you're the first person to put the Jack Marston running into Red Harlow theory ever. I always had a sinking suspicion that if they made Red Dead 3 it would be Jack hunting down the rest of the lawmen who killed his father thus putting him in danger. The only person who might be able to teach him to be a better gunfighter would be none other than Red Harlow
Amazing video as always the zonkers crew!
man this is awesome - nice to know someone has a passion for this like I do - Great video - I made couple trailers for a movie using rdr2 that forgets lore but afer having watched this I realize I have a lot to learn about making these videos in general - if you get the time let me know what you think about this thing I've been spending months on - in the meantime i'll be taking notes from your creations of brilliance
My boy had lumbago
Amazing video, earned yourself a subscriber dude 👍
I love This game glad people still upload on theses games 🔥
I've never finished RDR and unfortunately idk much about Red Harlow but watching this makes me want to get the game again and play through it.
It's nice to hear John Lennon with footage of the Red Dead. It fits
Nice explanation and a great work in the video, hoping good success for your channel, Thanks for using my clip at starting and mentioning me it means a lot 😁
Some people said Red Harlow joined the Van der linde gang as uncle in red dead redemption 2
just subbed and also you mentioned that eye color dont change well mine did it used to be blue but its more gray ish now cuz i wear glasses🤣🤣
Great work man! Thanks for using the song!
And let me know if you need any special music for another video.
Always looking for inspiration 😊
I loved this red dead is my life almost lol thanks bro for the video
I think red Harlow went with a gang and then went with one of his fellow gang and then helped him on the ranch,he then dies on that said ranch and is buried their
I think your idea for RDR3 is great. That or a rdr2 prequel, charles in canada and jacks story. I really like yours guy's content and i hope you guys grow.
@@zonkers. Yeah you guys should totally do a lore video about every gang member
Theory: Red dead revolver is probably a movie since it like a 1880s look
What if red is marshall Johnson from the first red dead redemption game ? In this theory, he is ether coerced to work for the government or is hiding in plain sight
I was literally booting up red dead revolver on my ps4 when i saw this in my recommendation
If they remaster rdr1 they should definitely do revolver.
simple he's uncle.
I dont care that the timelines dont match HE IS UNCLE
@@Ice-tc5vn*bang*
Now that that gobsh*te is taken care of, let's rejoice in knowing that red harlow is truly uncle
@@bananacrayon87 makes theories about video games then uses that emoji … wow . 💀🤡 that’s you
So I'm just playing red dead revolver and noticed that red could be uncle in theory and that's because of the bounty hunter story mode. In the first mission where you play as red jr. the task is to kill all enemies with one shot otherwise you fail. To me it is quite sad seeing this, but I'm glad at the same time, because they aren't in the same univerese. Anyways have a nice day/night
Edit: Or maybe uncle is jut dreaming about to be red harlow/the alcohol made him think that he is red after some time idk
Red Harlow ain't following Dutch Vanderlin under any circumstance. He was his own man.
Actually, eye collors can change as you grow older. When I was a baby and a child my eye was blue, as grew older it started to get green. I can see how in 50 years someone's eyes could turn brown. But you're still right, there's no way Uncle is Harlow.
tho changing form blue to brown is a huuuuge leap blue to green sure but blue to brown no way
W video fr, also would a Red Dead Revolver remaster, also never seen a playthru of it, or a full rd1 playthru, but they are all 3 golden games
Honestly if red Harlow returned in jacks story he should be more so a mentor bc they have similar backstories and plus Jack becomes a civilian after some time writes the book that’s found in gta 5 and I guess he died from heart disease which can be found on the wiki page for rdr lore so if that is cannon that would be a very interesting story that could be displayed with Jack being guided by red trying to help him get out of his outlaw life style becoming a better man etc lol or something way better than that bc red is a legend so u can’t do too much bc it could ruin it or it can be one of the most creative implementation to see.
🤙🏼
I wouldn't be surprised if Arthur and Red met somehow and Red gave Arthur some some type of Dead Eye magic. Like shooting advice or something. I wonder if there's a connection between these characters and dead eye.
Tell you what I would not be opposed to them doing a remake of Red Dead revolver for the PS4 PS5 or the new Xbox console
would be cool to have sequel for red dead revolver or red dead redemption 3 which would maybe be timed in 1860's - 1880? would just be cool
Playing rdr2 I loved Arthur morgan and had no idea who the other characters was. Watching people play rdr1 makes me have a lot of respect for John Marston
I just realized that all 3 red dead games are exactly 7 years apart.
But frankly the leap of technology between revolver and redemption is way bigger that of redemption and redemption 2. And that's saying something as RDR2 is a graphical phenomenon. But then again so was RDR1 case and point it holds up over a decade later
him saying his eyes are brown me seeing blue in his eyes when he stands up in this scene 7:51
3:25 There are people sitting around the camp fires talking about Red Harlow in the RDR.
Uncle
Red harlow in a saloon drinking beer and playing darts with Silas Greaves, colton white and the McCall brothers.
Red Harlow should be playable in RDR3 as a epilogue character with Red Dead Revolver being remade and the main story is when you play as Nate Harlow before he died. Red Dead Revolver can be canon since Dan Houser, Lazlow, and Leslie Benzies left Rockstar and Arthur can tell people “not to believe everything you read or hear” since the original game had a mission select from a book. In the first epilogue we can even see more in depth of Red Dead Revolver and in the second epilogue takes place after the events of Revolver but before RDR2. Red can meet and hear characters from RDR2 and RDR1. And the third epilogue will be when Jack meets Red Harlow after he told him his adventures and said, “Do not believe everything you hear, see, or read.”
I think Red Harlow was good friends with Arthur before somehow dying and was the one who told him “Revenge is a fools game” since he spent the entirety of Red Dead Revolver getting revenge only to see that it doesn’t help in any way.
Red Harlow became Uncle in Red Dead Redemption 1 and 2. It's just that Uncles Beard and age is hiding his Face scars and Features... Uncle Red is The 1 shot kid
you can disable uncles beard with mods, and upon further inspection, its clear that uncle has no scars
@@zonkers. But Uncle Red Harlow was supposed to have scars Clearly because he's The 1 shot kid aka Uncle Red Harlow.... You gotta Understand that Red Dead Redemption 2 on console was a 25/100% incompleted game so RockstarGames cut a Ton of Things out the game for only a reason God knows... But people just Know RockstarGames dropped the Ball with RDR2. Because look at how much they ruin John Marston made him look Like Arthur... So of course if the players were able to play as Uncle Red Harlow as a Main character RockstarGames would have to strip 5 signature character features from him to make Uncle Red Harlow look less like himself
@@PLANETJUMPERGiRLXXXred harlow the 1 shot kid was never mentioned in red dead revolver
@@PLANETJUMPERGiRLXXXRed Harlow was born in the 1860s. Uncle was born in 1849.
Red Harlow's parents were killed in the 1870s.
Red Dead Revolver is set in 1888 or 1889.
When Uncle was caught by the Skinners Brothers he was tortured and this explains Uncle's scars.
The Skinners Brothers gave Uncle those scars.
Rockstar gotta be happy for making the best characters in gaming history.
This deserves a remake!
i feel like uncle is red, remember how they said that red dead revolver and rdr are not in the same universe, well uncle could be rdrs red
He's a really cool character for sure. I just got red dead revolver and it is something else, first few chapters are fun until u get to those stupid clowns and genies.
Definitely Many alternatives u can come up with this guy. Personally I still haven't came up with a conclusion on what happend to him.
Anyways great job u 2!
Would love a Red Dead Revolver Remake and expand Red Harlows story even more or Red Dead 3 and revisit him. Either way is a win-win.
Yeah you can see his house and there are references of him but those are Easter eggs but I kinda believe the uncle theory because you can see uncle has a burn on his right hand so maybe the uncle theory is true
Ive been waiting for a mod where u can play revolver w/ rdr2 engine . REVOLVER is one of my fav games ever ! Even the multiplayer
The Dutch ditched and betrayed Red Harlow before forming his new gang. He made a deal with the devil hence at the end of RDR2 you could see he had his own motives and had the ability to manipulate but Karma is bitch therefore, RDR1 explains his end very well.
@@ZainphotographyRed Harlow was never part of a criminal gang that was never his motivation and rockstar has already confirmed that Red dead revolver is not part of the universe of Red dead redemption
One hint on why red Harlow is not uncle in the beginning of Red Dead redemption 2 at Sadie's ranch you can hear him say something about Uncle and his real name being Sam
Red Harlow is not an Outlaw but a bounty hunter so that is another reason he most likely wouldnt be killed by the law. He is not like Arthur or John Marstons history.
As much as I would love a revolver sequel, I just can't see it ever happening
4:38 makes the obvious sense, in my opinion. On where and what happened to Red Harlow.
He hooks up with some gang and catches lumbago
Regardless of the rockstar team saying they don’t take place in the same universe, there’s some things to tie the two (or 3) games together. I mean come on the people at campfires give a synopsis of his story and claim to have met characters in the Original red dead game (that alone let’s you know the events happened in the same universe)
Simple, Red Harlow contracted terminal back pain which made him age quickly, and he joined a band of outlaws, later living with one of them and being killed by lawmen in his friend’s farm
Uncle is Red Harlow he said in Valentine that in his youth days he was called the one shot kid to Arthur and that’s what Red was called and has the same cloth that Uncles has in rdr2 and he died in red dead redemption the first when John dies
I personally think he went into hiding after the events of governor griffins death. Probably went into hiding somewhere around the world and settled down and maybe hung up the holster or continued as a career bounty hunter. But settled down. Maybe met a lovely lady and rebuild what was taken from him a happy family. Maybe settling down at a lovely farm or ranch somewhere in the world with his new family. That could be a possibility. I prefer that one. But still hiding. Officially maybe the name red harllow died at the Griffin mansion and he's picked up a new alias ( name)
I see blue eyes on Uncle when he gets up to talk to John, also Uncle is always wearing a glove on his right hand...
I wish Rockstar would release a open world remaster of Red Dead Revolver.
I would pay full price for a rdr DLC centered around Red, Annie, and Jack.
The way I see it, Red Harlow was real but Red Dead Revolver is a campy parody film based on Jack Marston's novel.
Not saying that Uncle is Red or anything...but eye colour definitely can change as you grow older, my eyes changed colour like 4 times they went from blue to gray to green to hazel.
also awesome video, keep it up guys!
Uncle is from Ohio. These mythical creatures are near immortal and always remain with the same eye color throughout their lives.
Imagine if harlow was arthurs dad
No... Red Harlow most likely went to search for Jack Swift after he left the mansion grounds. I thought this was obvious?
One thing no one talks about is Agent Milton…. I think Red Harlow is Milton because if you go to the rdr wiki and look at all the quotes he has it seems to be the same perspective as Red Harlows hole “revenge” thing. And if you do look at Milton’s skin it is a little wrinkly. But Agent Milton seems young so he couldn’t be old. So he must have grown up in new Austin. And if you are saying that Red Harlows eyes and Milton’s eyes don’t match it’s because he might have Disease, infection, swelling or injury can scar or discolor your cornea.
Red harlow walked off and was never to be seen again unless somebody had seen where he walk off
I would like to see them come up with another red dead, three from the story of jack. I would love to see that story.
He suffers from terminal Lumbago to this DAY!
I like it they need to remake it just like that
I love red dead revolver so much
Still think red Harlow is uncle
It would be so cool if Red Harlow were the one who killed Arthurs child and girlfriend. Ik that would‘nt suit him but it definitely would be an amazing plot
*[Prototype2] flashbacks* And *Mafia 2 flashbacks* too probalby, and *GTA V flashbacks*
Red dead revolver and redemption are in the same universe. The games make that known by camp fire stories. People will tell you about how they’re family would tell them about red Harlow being a gunslinger when they were younger and passed the stories on
Imagine à Red dead revolver dlc on rdr2
Imagine RDR3 shows the blackwater incident and Red Harlow hunting down a young Dutch throughout and he's taken down by the gang or something
Damn! I always thought Uncle was Red in my heart.
Can’t forget the old atmosphere 🥺
John may be related to Red Harlow somehow. Look at Johns face in the epilogue. He has the same scars and a hat that looks the same.
Rdr3 should be about
The early days of the van der lin gang
Perhaps black water as the final mission
And an appearance or Atleast mention of red Harlow
Or just be about him and the other gunslingers
If about that then it should also have the four gunslingers you duel in rdr2
Just stuff that would make sense
More sense then being about Jack in ww1
Tbh I think this game was more of a beta to see where red dead actually goes, I know he is mentioned in rdr1 but I suppose Harlow could be a legendary gunslinger 🤷
guess they made it to 7k :)
