Ironman Challenge but I Randomized the Moon Order

- Spinning wheels to determine which order I visit each moon, and I can still only go to each moon once!
For the first quota I left out all but Embrion of the paid moons, but after that every moon is fair game.

I think you could make Artifice an exception and keep it as always-the-last moon due to how expensive it is. It's difficult enough to afford it after doing all the other moons, I don't think it's even possible prior to them.

Randomizing the moon order seems like a good way to avoid some burnout. As for possible variant rules, maybe just multiple wheels depending on which quota you're on? Or which day you're on?
So for the first quota, spin a wheel of the six free moons. For the second quota, add Embrion onto the wheel (which still has three remaining free moons).
Then for the third quota, add Rend, Dine, and Titan to the wheel. And then finally Artifice for the fourth quota. Or instead of which quota, you can add moons to the wheel depending on which day it is.
An optional incentive rule could be, whenever the scrap you collected matches or exceeds the total scrap amount on the performance report, you get +1 re-roll for the run.
Like the regular Ironman, which goes down the list of moons, the main idea is still to avoid going to paid moons early on, especially not back-to-back. 550+600+700+1500+150 = 3500 is a lot to collect solo in only 10 days.
Side note, for a lot of games out there, getting into modded content is a common way for the player base to keep things fresh.
You've done quite a few modded Lethal Company videos previously but not recently. Maybe that could be a different way to avoid burnout?
I don't know the details for Wesley's Moons mod. Maybe there's too many or they cost too much for an Ironman run.
But just adding in some new modded interiors could go a long way to keep the gameplay interesting.
From what I know, modded moons are unplayable right now as one of the mods necessary to run them doesn't work in v50.
I'm not sure much is going to stop someone from burning out of playing a multiplayer game solo for 500 hours
I like the idea of an Ironman run building up to Artifice as the most expensive moon in the game. Doing that, and then having to sell afterwards and hope you meet quota. The way you described also prevents paid moons from just straight up ending runs. RNG is fine at times, but having run-enders be up to RNG like that makes it a little less fun, I think.

Idk about reroll but artifice needs some kind of exception, cause even if you get enough to go to artifice 2nd moon of the quota you’re likely not getting enough to go to another paid moon after, let alone complete the next quota
That experimentation escape was crazy!
If you're using a streamdeck just setup a timed multi action that you press once and it shows your source for a short period then hides the source after timer

I'd much rather no giants than two. I just run past Baboon Hawks without looking at them and they've only killed me twice in 200h, one of those because I ran into a group as I was jumping out of the ship

Austin if you were to go for a pb. Which moons would you go to in order? Like on what quota would you go to what moon, and what beginning and end moon are you going to.
