As a bass player I am so torqued on how high it is in the mix
its wrapping the wall of noise
bit late to the party ;) but i totally agree. this band certainly knows where their frequencies are. guitar in high mids and treble, going crazy and providing texture and stabs etc while bass and drums lay down the foundation. mixing the bass into the background is only detrimental for this kind of music.

How is it possible that this band can be so awesome? Like, I haven't thought of a band as being straight up "cool" in years but damn. The music and the album covers and the D&D/fantasy references and John's live energy. Just damn.

i was literally watching this on 1.25 speed and i was doubting am i too high or is it the right speed then after 3 minutes i realized they also have 2 drummers and i had to ask my cat what he thinks about all that

Doesn't get much better than this when it comes to psychedelic music or even garage rock.. Oh Sees is the most perfect mix of the two I can't get enough.

Just saw them two nights in a row in Mexico City and it was fucking awesome, didn't know what to expect but everything gets crazy from the first chord. That last song/jam is brilliant, it always gets me! Saludos.

The "Encrypted Bounce" extended jam was just awesome and the dual drums and bass just driving it on and on. Then when it was over "whew!" and John Dwyer apologizes to the crowd!!!! LOL I wish it and any other "extended" plays were on a list and downloadable.
