You're right about getting hung up on choosing gear but rear bag and bipod make quite a difference and Protektor bags are great. Just need to choose the right one for you go through all their menu options of ear size, spacing and finish on the website.

Indeed it does make a difference! I love my Protektor DR rear AND the front rest bag they made for my "Frankenstein" Front Rest. Thanks for watching!!

Thanks for your tips on rear bags. I Shoot an RPR also, and this review is very relevant to me. Looking for a good bag rider so I will check out your info on that too. Thanks!

It is a good bag. I’ve had mine since 2015 and it is rock solid.

Loving mine so far. Love it so much I got the 3" front rider bag with same specs, heavy sand and 3M material. Thanks for watching!

Good review. Just boight a smaller protektor bag. Have to get it out to the range. Do mostly benchrest. Good luck with your fclass this year.

Very nice review. I am looking for a better rear bag setup. I normally shoot benchrest long range 600-1000. I'm looking for a bag setup that will work with all three rifles. Previously I've been using old blue jean sand bags and a crown royal squeeze bag. I like making stuff so I might try that route. At one point I was using an old drill press x-y axis base but it is a bit clunky and overkill. but the ability to micro adjust side to side was very nice.

Yeah, I've had a chance to shoot it in 3 matches now and, I LOVE IT! They will custom make the width between the ears, not sure if one could work for all 3 rifles or if you'd need multiple

That's not a good setup for f open . Not sure why you would choose that gun , that cartridge, that bipod , really any of it , are you shooting only in a local match woth some odd rules ?

You're not wrong but, there was a lot of thought and reasoning into the choices.
      A. I was (still am) a Service Rifle Shooter. F Class seemed like it might be fun to try. So, get a rifle that doesn't break the bank to test the waters AND a rifle that can do other things well; PRS, Hunting, etc.
B: Get a "decent" rifle to learn on...I might not like F Class or, be any good at it.
C: It takes a while to get a fancy front rest. Next best thing in my mind was the AccuTac. I was shooting solid expert score with that. I now have a SEB and the Protektor DR Rear and scores are hitting High Master
D: Really learn the process of how to precision reload and acquire the equipment and Tooling. Done, and again score are high Master to High Master range
E: Once I KNOW there is nothing more I can do to make this rifle shoot better AND I'm out - shooting the capabilities of rifle and load, then it's time to get a proper F Class Rifle. I'm pretty much there, problem is I kind of want to give F TR a try and see if I like it or Open better...decisions, decisions. Haha. Thanks for watching and the comment!!
