- I'm back! It has been a while since I posted a crappie video. I had a chance to get out last weekend on Truman Lake and catch a few crappie. The temperature was hot and so was the action! I had a little trouble with cedar trees.

Good to see ya back crappie fishing yeah Truman is like gernada the hotter the better the bite is seems like there a few lakes like that... summer time is my least favorite time I like fall and winter best but that's when my lakes in alabama shine for me anyways lol... not near the boat traffic either good one mike👍
Thanks for the nice video and great LS views, I always enjoy fishing with Mike Baker!!!!
Another great crappie video. Where can we get the hair jigs you use?
My friend, Mike Friend, makes them but he is not taking new orders.
Our water in N. Miss. is about 88
Thanks a lot
Mike, would you mind to share your Livescope settings? Your screen always looks so clear. I appreciate it in advance!
Watch the end of the video.
@@MikeBakerVideos Mike I get too anxious so I skip to your next one that I haven’t seen!! My apologies sir keep on keeping on!
@@jaceswartzlander6216 thanks for watching.
Man I get excited when I see a new Mike Baker video.
thanks, in this heat where do you typically find the bigger crappie. I am in Oklahoma and finding piles of them them but all small males. About 8" long all the time.
Scattered. Some on trees and some just roaming.
ADDICTING watching MIKE ! I love it !
@10:15, what is that monster fish swimming to the left? Flathead/Blue? You can see the tail moving back and forth on the livescope. So cool!
Nevermind...Mike answers my question @13:00
@@therobinsons4877 yes, a spoonbill. That area was loaded with them! Very cool seeing them on livescope.
Fantastic editing job!
Great Show Mr. Baker. Love the PnP with Livescope and how you have 3 cameras synced up.
Great video Mike. I'm glad you are making crappie videos again. Keep them coming.
Thanks Mike. I really enjoy your videos !!!
Good stuff Mike. I enjoy your videos.

Thanks, as always! Always watch for your videos.
Your livescope is dialed in good! If I turn my sensitivity that low I can't see much. I have terrible dead spots. How old is your transducer and is it the lvs32? Thanks.
It is a 32 and it is a few years old.
@@MikeBakerVideos I gotcha, was talking with Matt rogers on social media and he has a suspicion that the transducers are getting less clear(dead spots) etc with age. Mines terrible at times.
Been missing your videos. Another great one!
What do you use to keep your cameras from running out of juice? My cameras with regular batteries don't last long.
External battery pack.
You are Good Sir! 1/2 light hearted, 1/2 tech...right combo!
your videos are top-notch, Mike!
Great to see ya.back Mike!!!
Thanks Mike, really miss seeing your videos. I think you could video yourself cutting your grass and I would watch it!
Where do you get your hair jigs
A friend, who wishes to remain anonymous, ties them for me.😀
@@MikeBakerVideos that’s fine I understand but your videos are awesome we have watch everyone you have put out thanks Mike
@@mikejenperkins7795 Thanks for watching!
Can you fish without a live scope? Even guides are even using them, and cleaning out the lake.
Totally against them.
@@kevinfreeman6492 I can, yes.
Great video Mike! I’ve gone to sinking mainly hardwood in my lake too, easier to fish and seem to hold fish better.
Great video!
Your videos are to the point, well edited with multiple cameras, and we are not staring at your face like some people like to do. I see the depth on your live scope in the upper left hand corner of your screen. Is that the distance in front of you toward the tree? Depth? Or what?
Depth.
Great video Mike. Is there a Baker Bit on how you made the jig thumper to get your stick off the cedar?
No.
You should really put polarizing filters on your cameras. It should get rid of the glare on your screen and the water.
What kind of measure board are you using? I need one like that, the crappie at Sardis and done this way are to wide for the one I have!
Not sure what brand it is. I think I got it at Bass Pro years ago.
@@MikeBakerVideos thanks, the one I have is closed on the top and the bigger fish want go all the way down to the bottom! 🤔
🤣🤣🤣😂😂 He makes this 💩 look soooo easy.... 🤣🤣🤣👍👍👍
