Yes girl! that's what our 20s is, everyone is at different stages of their lives. It's so important to slow down and unplug. As you get older or mature you learn how important community and relationships. One of the phrases that stuck with me when I was going through my shift was "you have to be comfortable spending time alone with yourself." Many times, we want to escape to another place, weather its enjoying what someone else is up to or simply not facing your own thoughts. It's a skill to be able to hang out with yourself without screens, I think its a part of self-awareness journey.
Also your karaoke session reminded me how ill break in to worship songs while doing stuff around the house alone, except you can hit notes, and I cannot 🤣🤣

I really needed the pep talk at the beginning of the video. I'm soon to be 23 with no clue what I'm doing with my life still living at my dads house. I get on IG and see ppl I went to school with getting married and having kids and buying houses already and feel hopeless like I should have my life together by now. Sometimes I have to remind myself that time is a construct and progress is nonlinear. Also, it should be more normalized to move from job to job in your early years. So often older ppl (like parents, grandparents, etc) tend to judge youth for moving from job to job but it's important to remember that our early years are meant to be experimental. We don't know what we want to do for the rest of our lives so we have to test things out and see how we feel about it - keep moving and trying things until something clicks or you find something you enjoy. So often we're expected to choose the most stable career we can find and stick with it regardless of how we may feel about it. But life isn't about stability - it's meant to be enjoyed. Staying at a job you hate being miserable every day is no way to live. Don't settle!

I love hearing about your glp-1 journey as someone who also recently started on one (6 weeks ago)! I’m on mounjaro and I recommend to anyone who is starting soon to wait until you’ve been able to pick up at least two boxes of the meds (a 2 month supply). That way even if you have to wait a few days or weeks for your refill at some point, you’ll have a little bit of a buffer so you won’t have to start and stop. He’s this means waiting a month or two to start your journey but it’s just my suggestion since there are many shortages happening currently
