El trabajo es esteticamente muy bueno.

Pero....si ese material al calentarlo para tornearlo pierde la dureza , la pieza terminada no será lo mismo.

чисто внешне всё хорошо только вот свойства метала нарушена (его цементация), а ведь на этой технике люди должны работать и авария долго себя ждать не заставит фактически это испытание судьбы на что только люди не идут чтобы заработать только вот один заработает а другой ляжет в больницу в лучшем случаи в самом начале видео было верное решение

Con este video acabo de entender que no aprendo nada viendolo! Me es imposible entender que en un taller de torno gasten tiempo en reparar y soldar una pieza que de todos modos se va a partir nuevamente, cuando lo lógico era, fabricar el eje completo y reemplazarlo desde la base, ya que contaban con el material para reemplazarlo. Hubiesen gastado menos horas hombre, menos horas torno, hubiese sido una reparación segura y confiable! También más económica!

This is pure bull! So the neighbour steals the broken stub axle in front of a camera? And then there is already a camera set up at the fence waiting for him to arrive and sell that stolen item! If you believe any of this you must believe in little green mean and Santy Claus.
The "repaired"" stub axle is junk because he destroyed the required strength - deliberately destroying it with heat to make it possible to machine it with ordinary HSS tool bits.
Even if the strength was not destroyed, all that effort to cut male and female threads was a complete waste of time - it would be stronger with a simple interference fit. It would have been simpler and quicker to just weld on a rod of suitable diameter and length and turning every surface, instead of re-joining the old broken off piece.
That poor lathe! Headstock bearings ruined by the welding current passing through them, and weld splatter hitting the precision ground ways.

If you would like to make less horrible vibrations stick your cutting tool out as little as possible.
Keep the work sticking out of the chuck as little as possible.
Welding a large part to a small rod is also destined to make a shit sound and surface finish.
Хорошо бы всю эту конструкцию ещё раз закалить...
